This place, under Dr. Moroz and then Dr. Quesada, was wonderful--great service, attentive staff. Even when Dr. Moroz was there by herself, I could sometimes get same day or next day appointments, when necessary. But the service here has gone downhill since Dr. Quesada left and sold the practice to a corporation. One time I called to get an appointment for my little dog, who was throwing up. Despite having 2 vets, I was told the earliest appointment was in a week! I took the appointment, but didn't need to keep it, as my dog was much better in a day and a half. The corporation did away with boarding, though it still has "boarding" on its website. Why don't they change that? They also cannot seem to keep veterinarians. Dr. Odom diagnosed and treated our little dog for a collapsed trachea, last Fall, and that was fine. But now it seems he moved away and they are once again down to one vet. My husband and I are fully vaccinated and have been double-boosted and wear N95 masks when we go out, but patrons must still wait outside in the parking lot. There is no shade there and it gets too hot in the summer. Waiting in a hot car even with the windows down cannot be good for either people, especially older folks like my husband and me, and dogs and cats, who cannot sweat. The last straw was yesterday, when I went here to get more meds for our little dog, for her collapsed trachea. They open at 7:30 AM. I was there at 10 AM. It was closed and no lights on in the building and no cars in the parking lot. I called to see if there was a message on their answering machine about why it was closed, but there was not, just that "all lines are busy; leave a message" or something similar. Nor was there a note on their door, as to why they were closed. Something really bad might have happened, but why could not someone who worked there have put a note on the door as to why it was closed? We will be moving out of the area this summer and will no longer use this veterinary hospital, but we may have to use another local one until we do move, that gives better service. What a shame. I took my first dog here for boarding and veterinary care for over 10 years until he died of natural causes at 14 years old. I was always pleased with the service and care my dog got here. Unfortunately after I got another dog, I brought him here for annual vaccinations and boarding and he got sick and died 2 days after bringing him home. At the time the vet could not really provide a clear explanation to how and why he died. Needless to say I won't be taking my new puppy here. I'm not sure if its due to new management/ownership, but this place seems to not be the same. Read Less
