I took my cat here to get her shots for the first time, one of the receptionist wasn't to friendly and I can't remember her name but everybody else was friendly. The vet himself didn't speak much at just to say my cat was healthy. His lab assistant pretty much did all the talking and answered my questions. The lab assistant was very nice to my cat because my cat was scared as she never been to a vet before. Really the only problem I had was the price..... charging me crazy fees just to examine her lol but oh well, I'll be going back here again Read Less

The staff has never been very friendly, had my dog groomed there in Oct good job took her back this week, unfriendly staff still. Grooming went up 20.00 and they cut my lab mix looking like a poodle terrible job. No more will I take her there. Read Less

They are such caring people who have always shown us kindness, and provided our chihuahuas with outstanding medical care and attention. I took my bunny to riverside animal hospital this morning.. He was so sick and I want sure he was going to make it but everyone made me feel like he was in good hands! I went here 1 time and they made my animal look like a freak show! My animal was extremely sick and they made fun of him by putting his sickness up on a wall and telling everyone to come look and making rude unprofessional noises about what they were looking at! My animal unfortunately passed away after they gave him his medicine! The front desk lady was so rude! When I told her my situation she just looked at me like I was an idiot! I have been crying all day and she just looks at my like I was an idiot!! Then the head vet was not nice at all! When I asked him if my animal was gonna die he laughed and said most likely! The male vet didn't seem like he cared one bit; unbelievably rude, and insincere....I just walked out. He did not inspect my dog and when I asked him if he could be more thorough, he asked me what I think he should do in the most disrespectful way. Being sold on antibiotics before he even looked him just doesn't do anything. I will tell every person that I know that actually cares about their animals not go there; he was THAT awful and rude.Read Less

NOTE: I am writing under another person's sign in on a borrowed computer. I've been here twice because it's close. First time was OK. Second time was so bad I probably won't go back. Intake staff are robots. Vet tech pretty sweet. Vet is a dud. Had no idea what the problem was. Sold me antibiotics I could have gotten for myself for $4, for 5 times that amount and a piller for $5 that is so big, my pets run when they see it. Would rather cram the pills down their throats. Complained about the smell of my poor sick kitty twice. Maybe he should have gone to law school.Read Less

We have owned several dogs over the years and all of them have had medical issues from time to time and Riverside always found the solution. One dog has a food allergy and the doctor eliminated the cause through trial and error and found the food that was causing bumps to break out on the dogs' ears which resulted in a special diet food. No more allergy issues. We have always had positive results with Riverside for grooming, boarding and medical treatment. And the staff is always helpful and friendly. Just glad they are in Macon.
