We’ve been clients here since 1986 and drive up from Peachree City to see Dr. Cheng and company. We had a cat escape the house and he got hit by a car and we found him in the shrubs with his entrails all entangled in the leaves and beaches. Dr. Cheng healed Oreo and he’s now 16 years old and still as active as ever! We had a lab mix Princess who was apparently bitten by a snake in the backyard and Dr. Cheng saved her, too!… Expert care, reasonable prices, and friendly staff. We made the very difficult decision to let our precious kitty go, and the staff could not have been more sympathetic and caring. They made sure that we felt comfortable, and let us stay in the room with our kitten as long as we wanted. ON TOP OF being extremely sensitive towards us, they even offered to send us a clay impression of our kitten’s paw print.
When I went to pick up the paw print, the receptionist asked me how I was doing. She genuinely wished me well, and handed me the paw print and a sympathy card. The card was signed by the ENTIRE STAFF, and the doctor even wrote a message specifically to us acknowledging the painful decision we made. I’m sure this is routine for them, but it honestly meant more to us than they will ever know. Their thoughts and well wishes were very comforting during this hard time.
We did not have a regular vet before this, but we will definitely be coming here for our other cats.

When my lab, Dude, was dealing with cancer and hip dysplasia, he could not walk on his own. We had to go out of town and felt Dude needed to be boarded with a vet in case something happened. The staff here paid so much attention to him. They spent so much time in his kennel with him so he wouldn't be alone and they treated him so kindly to his very last moment. Dude did not survive but everyone here made his last days with us much easier. Dr. Cheng has been so caring to Dude and I could not have asked for more from all of the vet techs. Now we come here for our Yorkie and new Chihuahua puppy and know we will always be taken care of. Thank you EVH.

We had to take our 5 month old Belgian Malinois here when he started throwing up blood and wouldn't eat or drink. It was super close to closing time, and you never would have known it by the attention and how caring the staff was. They gave him an IV for fluids and a couple medicines but we were out of there for under $300 and within 24 hours he was doing 100x better! Even though they aren't the closest Vet to us, I wouldn't want to go anywhere else.

I went in this place as a burden, not a paying customer. I had picked up a stray and needed someone to handle the situation for me and after getting turned away from another local clinic these guys stepped right up and helped me out so I could go to work. I wish I had gotten names but it was the lady at front, a veterinarian, and a younger guy. They went out of their way to make accommodations for this dog so he could stay until Cobb county picked him up to give the owner time to claim him. If they don't, I will be picking him up and finding him a home personally! Needless to say, I couldn't have been more satisfied with my experience and it just so happens that I am in need of a good clinic for my Great Dane whose like my kid. I only want him being treated by people who have the passion for their jobs as you guys clearly displayed today and I will be back with my son as a paying customer! You guys are awesome!

This was Bandits first vet visit and Kallie girl too! Kallie loved Cathy at Etowah Veterinarian Hospital. I love this group they are awesome and Kallie fell in love with Cathy. Mandy at the front desk is so kind and sweet as well. Dr. Rory Hekking was so kind and gentle when it was time for my precious Ruff to go to the rainbow bridge after being ill with Lymphoma. After a very awful experience at another vet I went to see Dr Cheng on an emergency basis with my 16 week old puppy. Unfortunately there was still nothing that could have been done to save her and I had to put her down; but this vet was incredible. The entire staff was sympathetic, understanding, and was hurting with me. Dr Cheng was sitting next to me hugging me as I was crying about losing my best friend. I told them about my experience at the other vet just hours before and how awful they were to myself and my pet. They offered sympathy and actually waived the office visit fee for me. On top of this- I asked if they would make a death certificate for my baby, Coco and they told me that they do not usually do them but that they were going to do one for me. Losing a pet is one of the most painful things I have ever had to experience but I cant imagine a vet handling it any better than they did. I will be taking my other Yorkie (2yr) and my cat (6yr) to this vet from now on. I would recommend this veterinary practice to any and everyone.

We love everyone at this clinic! I used to go to their sister facility at Trickum Ridge, but had to use Dr. Cheng one day when one of my cats was injured and Trickum Ridge did not have any availability. Dr. Cheng was very thorough in her examination and explanation of everything going on. She listens to concerns, questions, and takes the time to talk about them. She has since seen 3 out of 4 of my pets and I'm very pleased. I'm so happy to see Dr. Hekking has joined them. He examined the 4th pet/dog at Trickum Ridge before he moved to Etowah. He is awesome and you can tell he loves what he does. The staff here is friendly and helpful. I have had 3 different vets in 5 years. We have finally found the perfect place!

Dr. Cheng went out of her way to see my baby on an already appointment-packed Saturday. We received heartwrenching news, but Dr. C always reviews every possible option for treatment and I can't thank her and the entire staff enough for how they treat me and my sweet baby girl. Georgia has been seeing Dr. Cheng since she was just a pup (now 13)and although we moved to the opposite side of town (with tons of closer vets to choose from) we make a point to drive all the way to Etowah. We could not ask for a better staff or a better doctor. We love Dr. Cheng!! Thank you for all you do!

Etowah Vet Hospital has been caring for my 2 dogs for 8 years now. Never once have I been there that I wasn't absolutely positive that they truly cared for my pets and my concerns for them. Patients with every question with
each employee not just the receptionist but the entire staff takes the time to answer any and all questions I may
have. I'm finding this even more valuable as my pet ages. It's important for me to know each and all options I have
for treatment for my aging Boxer. The fact that they consider holistic options as well as traditional medicines is very
important to me.
So kudos to these dedicated people for making my concerns a little easier and more understandable as my pets and I grow older together. Our pets in this century have become so much more than just dogs and cats. They deserve the best.

We’ve been clients here since 1986 and drive up from Peachree City to see Dr. Cheng and company. We had a cat escape the house and he got hit by a car and we found him in the shrubs with his entrails all entangled in the leaves and beaches. Dr. Cheng healed Oreo and he’s now 16 years old and still as active as ever! We had a lab mix Princess who was apparently bitten by a snake in the backyard and Dr. Cheng saved her, too!… Expert care, reasonable prices, and friendly staff. The staff here is very professional and caring. Use them for boarding also, especially when time for physicals and shots. They take care of things while you are gone.

We made the very difficult decision to let our precious kitty go, and the staff could not have been more sympathetic and caring. They made sure that we felt comfortable, and let us stay in the room with our kitten as long as we wanted. ON TOP OF being extremely sensitive towards us, they even offered to send us a clay impression of our kitten’s paw print.
When I went to pick up the paw print, the receptionist asked me how I was doing. She genuinely wished me well, and handed me the paw print and a sympathy card. The card was signed by the ENTIRE STAFF, and the doctor even wrote a message specifically to us acknowledging the painful decision we made. I’m sure this is routine for them, but it honestly meant more to us than they will ever know. Their thoughts and well wishes were very comforting during this hard time.
We did not have a regular vet before this, but we will definitely be coming here for our other cats.

When my lab, Dude, was dealing with cancer and hip dysplasia, he could not walk on his own. We had to go out of town and felt Dude needed to be boarded with a vet in case something happened. The staff here paid so much attention to him. They spent so much time in his kennel with him so he wouldn't be alone and they treated him so kindly to his very last moment. Dude did not survive but everyone here made his last days with us much easier. Dr. Cheng has been so caring to Dude and I could not have asked for more from all of the vet techs. Now we come here for our Yorkie and new Chihuahua puppy and know we will always be taken care of. Thank you EVH.

We had to take our 5 month old Belgian Malinois here when he started throwing up blood and wouldn't eat or drink. It was super close to closing time, and you never would have known it by the attention and how caring the staff was. They gave him an IV for fluids and a couple medicines but we were out of there for under $300 and within 24 hours he was doing 100x better! Even though they aren't the closest Vet to us, I wouldn't want to go anywhere else.

Etowah has been taking care of my furry family members for decades and cannot think of anybody I trust more. The staff is kind, knowledgeable and are always welcoming. I always feel as though we are visiting friends when we go, even though my furry kids hesitate to walk in (to the point of making me laugh). It is clear they all love animals & am glad to have them keeping watch over my pets!

I went in this place as a burden, not a paying customer. I had picked up a stray and needed someone to handle the situation for me and after getting turned away from another local clinic these guys stepped right up and helped me out so I could go to work. I wish I had gotten names but it was the lady at front, a veterinarian, and a younger guy. They went out of their way to make accommodations for this dog so he could stay until Cobb county picked him up to give the owner time to claim him. If they don't, I will be picking him up and finding him a home personally! Needless to say, I couldn't have been more satisfied with my experience and it just so happens that I am in need of a good clinic for my Great Dane whose like my kid. I only want him being treated by people who have the passion for their jobs as you guys clearly displayed today and I will be back with my son as a paying customer! You guys are awesome!

This was Bandits first vet visit and Kallie girl too! Kallie loved Cathy at Etowah Veterinarian Hospital. I love this group they are awesome and Kallie fell in love with Cathy. Mandy at the front desk is so kind and sweet as well. Dr. Rory Hekking was so kind and gentle when it was time for my precious Ruff to go to the rainbow bridge after being ill with Lymphoma. I would follow him anywhere. He is so awesome the staff are so kind and you can tell they love what they do!!

After a very awful experience at another vet I went to see Dr Cheng on an emergency basis with my 16 week old puppy. Unfortunately there was still nothing that could have been done to save her and I had to put her down; but this vet was incredible. The entire staff was sympathetic, understanding, and was hurting with me. Dr Cheng was sitting next to me hugging me as I was crying about losing my best friend. I told them about my experience at the other vet just hours before and how awful they were to myself and my pet. They offered sympathy and actually waived the office visit fee for me. On top of this- I asked if they would make a death certificate for my baby, Coco and they told me that they do not usually do them but that they were going to do one for me. Losing a pet is one of the most painful things I have ever had to experience but I cant imagine a vet handling it any better than they did. I will be taking my other Yorkie (2yr) and my cat (6yr) to this vet from now on. I would recommend this veterinary practice to any and everyone.

We love everyone at this clinic! I used to go to their sister facility at Trickum Ridge, but had to use Dr. Cheng one day when one of my cats was injured and Trickum Ridge did not have any availability. Dr. Cheng was very thorough in her examination and explanation of everything going on. She listens to concerns, questions, and takes the time to talk about them. She has since seen 3 out of 4 of my pets and I'm very pleased. I'm so happy to see Dr. Hekking has joined them. He examined the 4th pet/dog at Trickum Ridge before he moved to Etowah. He is awesome and you can tell he loves what he does. The staff here is friendly and helpful. I have had 3 different vets in 5 years. We have finally found the perfect place!

Dr. Cheng went out of her way to see my baby on an already appointment-packed Saturday. We received heartwrenching news, but Dr. C always reviews every possible option for treatment and I can't thank her and the entire staff enough for how they treat me and my sweet baby girl. Georgia has been seeing Dr. Cheng since she was just a pup (now 13)and although we moved to the opposite side of town (with tons of closer vets to choose from) we make a point to drive all the way to Etowah. We could not ask for a better staff or a better doctor. We love Dr. Cheng!! Thank you for all you do!

Etowah Vet Hospital has been caring for my 2 dogs for 8 years now. Never once have I been there that I wasn't absolutely positive that they truly cared for my pets and my concerns for them. Patients with every question with
each employee not just the receptionist but the entire staff takes the time to answer any and all questions I may
have. I'm finding this even more valuable as my pet ages. It's important for me to know each and all options I have
for treatment for my aging Boxer. The fact that they consider holistic options as well as traditional medicines is very
important to me.
So kudos to these dedicated people for making my concerns a little easier and more understandable as my pets and I grow older together. Our pets in this century have become so much more than just dogs and cats. They deserve the best.

Amber and Apache say they love the Etowah staff. Denise and I have used Etowah Veterinary Hospital for close to 20 years. Dr. Cheng and staff have been wonderful. They have taken care of all of our dogs through the years, good times and the not so good when our beloved pets were sick. They are extremely caring of our dogs and treated them as though they were their own. We recommend Etowah to our friends.

I have recommended several friends to Etowah also. They all love it. Dr Cheng is wonderful. She cares about each pet as if it were her own. My dog runs in like it is home. He is happy to see the staff.
