Dr. McWhorter is one of the most caring and honest people I know! I have read all of the reviews and have never experienced him being hateful, rude, or biased toward anyone. I have brought him many sick puppies and kittens in the past. People bring them to me and he is my go to for immediate care. He is very reasonable and friendly. When our beloved family dog was bitten by a rattle snake, he came from his home and met me after hours. I have used him for everything from yearly shots and spay/neuter to emergency situations. He took care of our injured pet & his fee was small compared to what we might expect from our usual vet in Sandersville. He butchered my cat during a standard de-claw procedure. The bones of the paws were left exposed, and made clicking noises on my hardwood floor. I contacted him about it and the reply was a hastily scribbled post-it note to "contact his brother, an attorney, and judge in Milledgeville". I filed a formal complaint through the American Veterinary Medical Association, and took the cat to another vet who was able to correct his horrible work, but only by removing the first knuckles on ALL of the cat's paws. What he did to my pet is nothing short of abuse, and I hope he rots for it. His license should have been revoked decades ago. I would happily go to his funeral only to spit on his grave. Read Less

I called this place to inquire about bringing in my cat because I thought she had broken her leg and this jerk suggested I put her in a pillow case in order to drive her up there! Then when I said I wasn't going to do that to my cat that I thought that was mean he told me I should find some where else to go!! What an unprofessional jerk!!! Read Less

An older man. Very socially conservative, particulaly about his gums, and vaguely racist. Very uncomfortable to talk to. His methods are a little outdated.
