I've now been here twice both times were outrageously over priced, the staff was more than rude, the facility isn't clean. When I went to pick up my cat they ignored me when I would ask to check out they would help someone else or go in the back until 30 minutes after close. I have never written a bad review before, unfortunately I am going to have to share with anyone considering taking your best friend here you might want to think twice. I have been taking my dog here since I moved to the area a little over 2 years ago, just met the vet this morning! It took me over a month of leaving messages to get an appointment and even the office manager doesn't promptly return calls. I was told this was an ongoing issue, they were just so busy, construction was causing issues with the phones and voicemail... Agreed to give them another chance. Walked in this morning to "why has your dog not been getting a particular vaccine?" My response was " I don't know he makes his appointments on time," at that time I was told oh yeah he got the vaccine last year it just wasn't in his chart? My dog has been here 3 times the vet just today decided he needed to be on heart worm medication. Made me question if my dog is really getting the shots and care that I am paying for. This was the WORST experience I have ever had at a vet's office. I went to get my dog's yearly shots last week. She is a German Shepherd, and has severe anxiety about going to the vet. While we were in the waiting room, she was barking nervously while I was filling out the paperwork. Instead of someone coming to offer her some treats, or try to pet her or calm her, I was kicked out. An extremely rude woman came out from the front desk, and told me that I would need to wait outside until the vet could see me because of my dog's barking. It was under 20 degrees that day, and I had to sit outside with my dog for over 30 minutes. I chose to go there because it is so close to my house, but I will not be going back. Read Less

I love Dr. Reese. He was so sweet and gentle with my baby, Sally. It made for a very easy and calm visit, which is not typical with a cat. I actually adopted her from this vet and was going back for a check up. I highly recommend this vet. And please keep an open mind to adopting the cats here...my little angel is my world. I love Dr. Reese and his staff. They are great with my furkids futures and me. Dr. Reese always sits in the floor with my dogs and loves on them while talking to me. He makes it a pleasant experience for everyone. I have used him for my 3 dogs. I was very pleased with his knowledge when I initially brought one of my dogs in for a 2nd opinion on hip surgery. Another vet that I had been using for 14 years told me my dog required hip surgery. I took her to Dr. Reese and within a couple of hours he called and said it wasn't her hip at all. He explained that it was her knees. He was very thorough with his examination and explanation of treatment options. I am very confident in his ability and knowledge. My Yorkie Emmy ate part of the stuff in the bottom of my fake house plant. Took her to Animal Care Hoapital at Bold Springs they took X-rays and confirmed she had an obstruction in her intestines Dr. Reese is the Veterinarian and he was so nice, so professional and so caring for my fur baby. I have spent the last 3 days going in to see Dr. Reese and having X-rays of my Emmy to see where the plant was in her intestines. Dr. Reese gave her Barium so we could follow the plant and know if my baby would have to have surgery to get it out. This morning only a very small portion remains in her colon and she is doing great. Dr Reese is an amazing Veterinarian, man of the Lord and now a friend. I cannot thank him enough for all of his kindness and the knowledge and ability that he has shown during this very sad and stressful time. The office staff are all so wonderful too. Very professional and really care about the animals and their clients. I left this morning after our visit with one happy Yorkie and adopted a new Kitten into our family. We will call the kitten Witness as we believe we were led by the Lord to this wonderful Vet and man. I love this clinic! After getting frustrated & feeling ripped off after changes at a clinic I had used for several years, I called a couple of other vets. Bold Springs was, without question, the new place for our pets. All of the ladies that answer the phone have always been very pleasant, knowledgeable, & patiently answered my questions or concerns. Dr. Reese is the best! He is kind, personable, and obviously loves the animals. I've had 2 dogs and a cat that have been seen here, one dog had to have a leg amputated, and I've never been disappointed. The dogs don't mind their visits to the doc either (as for the cat... well, cats don't like much of anything). If you are looking for a veterinary clinic, I encourage you to give these folks a try! I called this vet office as a recommendation for my dog everyone was telling me go to bold Springs these people are wonderful first off when I called and spoke to the receptionist I told her that I have an emergency for my dog and she says that she wouldn't be able to get her in until the next day so I called back to schedule that and they said that they couldn't get her in for another two days if it's an emergency you need to be seen right away I believe it was very rude and disrespectful my dog could have died but there was another animal hospital that worked with me so I would advise everyone to stay away from this place they are rude and obviously do not care about your pets!!! After having the same vet for over 15 years, it was hard trying to find the same trusting relationship when I moved to GA from WV last year. When I finally purchased a new home close to Bold Springs, I was once again looking to find a permanent place to take care of my fur children and my new neighbor told me about this clinic. Not only is it close and convenient, but the veterinarians and staff have been so kind and wonderful that I have no doubts my fur babies and I have found the right place for their care for many years to come. Do not go here. I liked Dr. Reese and his staff. Until....I took my girl in to them sharing that she had been acting as if she was very uncomfortable. He supposedly observed her all day and in the end diagnosed her with a soft tissue injury. I picked her up at 4pm and then within an hour called back and insisted that I needed to return because she was vomiting. He then took an x-ray and found she had swallowed something and had a blockage. This is where I made one of the worst mistakes of my life. I did as he suggested. He wanted to put her on fluids and pain treatment overnight and promised she would be his first operation in the am. She did not make it until then. Note that he seemed rush to leave the office. I trusted him even though my heart was telling me different and I can't take it back. We are heartbroken and devastated. Read Less

He was okay with yearly exams until two of my pets died. One was a misdiagnosis and the other the new guy had no clue and he left my sick animal and went to lunch. He died same day. I used to like this vet but he spoke more about his personal life and inconsequential trivia than about my dog was suppose to be vetting. Read Less

This is hands down the best place to bring your animals! Dr. Reese is the kindest person I have ever met. He has taken care of our animals for 20+ years so he's more like family. You will find that he cares more about the well being of your pet rather than making a profit. I travel 45+ minutes just to come here because the entire staff is wonderful as well! Read Less

They are always nice and kind to all of my pets. I love the rescue corner. There are always cute small kittens ready to adopt.  All four of my cats have soft paws and anyone who has seen them mentions how they have the best soft paws they have ever seen.  These are great vets and have won my loyalty for my pets. This place is wonderful. I have a very scared ten year old golden retriever/daschund mix who runs from any stranger who tries to touch her. She's a complete sweetheart, but she darts and acts terrified when a stranger comes near her so people always treat her as if she were dangerous. When I brought her in, Dr. Reese kneeled down on the floor to be on her eye level and was incredibly gentle and patient with her. He is the only stranger my Katie has ever let touch her.Bold Springs will definitely be my vet of choice. Read Less
