My Chihuahua Maxx needed some teeth pulled and a good Dental cleaning. I called around 8 different places, even the mobile vets. Only to be told it would costs me $300-$700 and it would be atleast 2 weeks before he could be seen. My last effort I went by Woods animal hospital after reading many many great reviews. I was greeted by a cheerful, funny man that made my worries of price and most of all vet care for my little guy, go away. He gave me a precise estimate which was half the cost or more of the other quotes I had received. He gave me all the information I needed, and never once pushed any extra stuff that Maxx didn't need. I got home and called him right back to set Maxx's appointment for 3 days later. I dropped him off and was assured that he would be well taken care of. I left knowing he would be. Any other time I would be freaking out. Check in and Check out was effortless! The ladies who work there are very sweet! Maxx got some dental goodies to take home and I am grateful that his horrible breath is gone. A day after 4 teeth pulled, he is eating and is as good as new. I will drive 45 mins from where I live to get here. They are realistic, honest and will charge you the fairest they possibly can! They offer $65 special on Wednesdays when your pets need to get their vaccines updated. Also they cut my puppy's nails free of charge. I got her 6 months of heart worm preventative for 30 somethings dollars. Everyone at Woods has been kind and patient with my pets. I don't want to risk going anywhere else, these guys are great! Please explain how you send a Dog back home with antibiotics and vitamins when you tell the family the dog probably had multiple organ damage and a virus and just say to bring him back if he doesn't get better? Especially after you have seen the dog twice and you have seen the decline on health already. Terrible. If you knew the dog was passing away or in pain the least you could do is offer euthanasia. I highly recommend this place. They were very kind to me and my dog. It was my first time. They are very affordable and genuinely care for your animal. I paid $120 for kidney bloodwork, eye stain, eye antibiotic ointment/eye drops, and a nail trim. Thats affordable compared to when I took my dog to peachtree corners animal hospital and they charged $600 for bloodwork. Read Less

I highly recommend Woods as a vet. They do a great job and they are honest people. My Pomeranian woke up with a swollen face on one side on a Saturday and I checked her teeth and I thought she had broken one because it was really wiggly in the back on the swollen side of her face so I took her to the cheapest vet that was open on a Sunday and they charged me $150 for pain medicine and antibiotics. Then they gave me a quote for pulling out the tooth (one tooth!!!) for $630!I took my baby to Woods and they told me that she definitely needed her teeth cleaned and they would need to pull out the tooth. That was back in February and they were running a dental special for 30% off dental services for that month. They ended up pulling four of her teeth because they were loose and about to fall out anyway and cleaning her teeth for less than $200. (AND they trimmed her nails while she was out!!! She's such a whiny diva when I do them...) I highly recommend them. They did a great job and my little Pomeranian is back to bouncing around and chewing on chew sticks. Read Less

They are beyond amazing. You couldn't ask for anything more in a vet, they really really care about animals, they are affordable, nice and great vets! Before going to woods, we unfortunately went to somewhere else when our dog had a bladder stone. They did surgery and damaged her bladder, she was just a puppy. So her whole life she has had incontinence issues. They helped us find food that helped prevent future stones and medicine for her incontinence. We ended up moving to Canton but will drive there in a heartbeat if she has issues again. You can really trust these people! !! Read Less
