My wife and I recently had to have our beloved friend Waldo put down due to his having a very aggressive type of cancer. The folks at Smith Animal Hospital were absolutely wonderful in their care, compassion, and professionalism during this extremely difficult ordeal. We want to thank them all with all our hearts for the love and care they showed Waldo. And the sincere compassion they demonstrated to us. Waldo is gone but he will always live in our hearts. He was a wonderful dog and great friend.

The vets and stuff at Smith's animal hospital always have been very caring and loving to any of my fur babies that I took to them... They always made my dogs comfortable and gave them the best care. When my dog Nikko recently got really sick they did everything they could to help him and I'm so thankful for everything they did. When I knew it was time for me to say good bye to my beloved Nikko, they were very comforting while I was braken down crying. They spoke very sweetly about Nikko. They all take time to get to know the animals they take care of and they owners.

We have brought each one of them here and had the absolute BEST service!! Not only quick appointments, friendly service but complete respect. The staff is wonderful and professional. How wonderful to know that there is a vet at this hospital who put down an innocent puppy without its owners knowledge or consent, simply because of their prejudice against a Pit mix. Who tells someone to put down a dog immediately, with no history of aggression, without first suggesting other alternatives? Other treatments exist and should always be a priority before euthanizing. Why wasn't the ownership of this sweet dog verified before being killed? And now the owner will never find peace because of the ridiculous cost just to have her babies ashes returned. Now there's a family out there who has lost not a pet, but a family member because of malpractice and prejudice. The least you could have done is give this family their dogs ashes after all the heartbreak and damage you've caused.

Smith Animal Hospital has been my veterinarian choice for over 30 years. They take care of my pets as if they were their own. My dogs are always eager to visit their doctor's office and love spending a weekend there when we are out of town. I couldn't imagine a nicer or more knowledgeable group of people!!

I live in Macon, which is at least 30 minutes north of Perry, GA. I prefer to take my two senior poodles to Smith Animal Hospital rather than any place local. When my standard popped her hip out of place in the middle of the night, I called their after hours service and she was in surgery very early the next morning. I know that these wonderful veterinarians and vet techs are devoted to their client's animals, because they know and understand the love the clients have for their babies.

Though this vet is a bit of a drive for us we prefer to come here. All of the vets in this office seem to care about our babies. The staff cares also!! Love these people! I always know that when we get there if something unforeseen comes up with one of our babies this vet will find the best solution and we will work together to make sure it happens. They understand how much we love our babies and are compassionate to both our babies and us. For this and their exemplary care we are very grateful! I can't say enough great things about Smith Animal Hospital in Perry Georgia. AS my wife and I had to make the difficult decision to have our sweet miniature dachshund Buck put to sleep at only 2 years old, the doctors and staff were and are just absolutely amazing. Dr. Felix, Dr. Ben and Dr. Bob were just so caring, and compassionate. During the 3 1/2 days of Buck's stay they kept us informed and did everything possible for our little man. I know that God placed this wonderful office of vets in our lives for he knew that we would need them during this most difficult time. I can't remember all the staffs name but they were all just amazing as well, making sure that Buck was so well taken care of by simply picking him up and holding him and talking to him. These may seem like look little thing s to some people but when you love your fur babies like Laura and I do you can only hope that you would be blessed enough to have such amazing, caring people as there are at Smith Animal Hospital in Perry Georgia. So disappointed in this vet. No only did thy misdiagnose my dog, when I called to tell them my dog had passed away and to please take me off the mailing list( reminders that my dog needs to come in) the person that answered the phone never apologized or showed sympathy or concern. Just tried ok, we will take care of this. My dog had to be put to sleep after going to another vet and finding out he was ate up with cancer . I took my dog in on 3 different occasions stating he wasn't himself and acted like he was in pain and had lost weight. Every time after multiple blood test and exams they state my dog was just playing opossum and nothing was wrong. Even told me his lab work was great. The new vet who diagnosed my dog after receiving his records state his white blood count should have been a red flag bc it was not normal! I could care less about the wasted money, my dog suffered with pain for months!

We switched vets and I'm so glad we did. Dr. Felix diagnosed our dog with a severe heart murmur. The previous vet we had been taking him to never told us anything. The day we had to put him euthenized the staff went out of their way to make it as comforting as possible and with the upmost respect for us and our baby. We have never boarded our dogs until about 2 yrs ago. They made the experience easier for me because I knew they would be taken well care of. I called everyday and they were always willing to give me updates. The staff has always been very friendly and loving with our dogs as well. Thank you Smith Animal Hospital for taking such good care of us.

They did a AWESOME job!!! I would take my dog back in a heart beat no questions asked. The staff was very nice, friendly and very helpful. I didn't have to wait long for my appt. The veterinarian came in and introduced himself to me and then began talking in a soft friendly voice to introduce himself to my dog since this was the first time we have been there. He explained everything very well and then asked if I had any questions. I chose to not do some of the test and he did not push at all about that. He just said that was completely fine and he understood. I was very very impressed. That was a huge win for me. He even sent home some medicine just in case she was sore and all from the shots since we aren't sure how she reacted to the shots last time.. Just a overall great visit. I would drive all the way from Ohio to take her.

My wife and I recently had to have our beloved friend Waldo put down due to his having a very aggressive type of cancer. The folks at Smith Animal Hospital were absolutely wonderful in their care, compassion, and professionalism during this extremely difficult ordeal. We want to thank them all with all our hearts for the love and care they showed Waldo. And the sincere compassion they demonstrated to us. Waldo is gone but he will always live in our hearts. He was a wonderful dog and great friend.

When my dog Nikko recently got really sick they did everything they could to help him and I'm so thankful for everything they did. When I knew it was time for me to say good bye to my beloved Nikko, they were very comforting while I was braken down crying. They spoke very sweetly about Nikko. They all take time to get to know the animals they take care of and they owners.

How wonderful to know that there is a vet at this hospital who put down an innocent puppy without its owners knowledge or consent, simply because of their prejudice against a Pit mix. Who tells someone to put down a dog immediately, with no history of aggression, without first suggesting other alternatives? Other treatments exist and should always be a priority before euthanizing. Why wasn't the ownership of this sweet dog verified before being killed? And now the owner will never find peace because of the ridiculous cost just to have her babies ashes returned. Now there's a family out there who has lost not a pet, but a family member because of malpractice and prejudice. The least you could have done is give this family their dogs ashes after all the heartbreak and damage you've caused.

I live in Macon, which is at least 30 minutes north of Perry, GA. I prefer to take my two senior poodles to Smith Animal Hospital rather than any place local. When my standard popped her hip out of place in the middle of the night, I called their after hours service and she was in surgery very early the next morning. I know that these wonderful veterinarians and vet techs are devoted to their client's animals, because they know and understand the love the clients have for their babies.

Though this vet is a bit of a drive for us we prefer to come here. All of the vets in this office seem to care about our babies. The staff cares also!! Love these people! I always know that when we get there if something unforeseen comes up with one of our babies this vet will find the best solution and we will work together to make sure it happens. They understand how much we love our babies and are compassionate to both our babies and us. For this and their exemplary care we are very grateful! I love this clinic! Last night my 1 year old cavalier king chapels spaniel got sick and I called their after hours number and I was able to meet them immediately at the clinic. I can't say enough great things about Smith Animal Hospital in Perry Georgia. AS my wife and I had to make the difficult decision to have our sweet miniature dachshund Buck put to sleep at only 2 years old, the doctors and staff were and are just absolutely amazing. Dr. Felix, Dr. Ben and Dr. Bob were just so caring, and compassionate. During the 3 1/2 days of Buck's stay they kept us informed and did everything possible for our little man. I know that God placed this wonderful office of vets in our lives for he knew that we would need them during this most difficult time. I can't remember all the staffs name but they were all just amazing as well, making sure that Buck was so well taken care of by simply picking him up and holding him and talking to him. These may seem like look little thing s to some people but when you love your fur babies like Laura and I do you can only hope that you would be blessed enough to have such amazing, caring people as there are at Smith Animal Hospital in Perry Georgia. No only did thy misdiagnose my dog, when I called to tell them my dog had passed away and to please take me off the mailing list( reminders that my dog needs to come in) the person that answered the phone never apologized or showed sympathy or concern. Just tried ok, we will take care of this. My dog had to be put to sleep after going to another vet and finding out he was ate up with cancer . I took my dog in on 3 different occasions stating he wasn't himself and acted like he was in pain and had lost weight. Every time after multiple blood test and exams they state my dog was just playing opossum and nothing was wrong. Even told me his lab work was great. The new vet who diagnosed my dog after receiving his records state his white blood count should have been a red flag bc it was not normal! I could care less about the wasted money, my dog suffered with pain for months!

We switched vets and I'm so glad we did. Dr. Felix diagnosed our dog with a severe heart murmur. The previous vet we had been taking him to never told us anything. The day we had to put him euthenized the staff went out of their way to make it as comforting as possible and with the upmost respect for us and our baby. We have never boarded our dogs until about 2 yrs ago. They made the experience easier for me because I knew they would be taken well care of. I called everyday and they were always willing to give me updates. The staff has always been very friendly and loving with our dogs as well. Thank you Smith Animal Hospital for taking such good care of us.

They did a AWESOME job!!! I would take my dog back in a heart beat no questions asked. The staff was very nice, friendly and very helpful. I didn't have to wait long for my appt. The veterinarian came in and introduced himself to me and then began talking in a soft friendly voice to introduce himself to my dog since this was the first time we have been there. He explained everything very well and then asked if I had any questions. I chose to not do some of the test and he did not push at all about that. He just said that was completely fine and he understood. I was very very impressed. That was a huge win for me. He even sent home some medicine just in case she was sore and all from the shots since we aren't sure how she reacted to the shots last time.. Just a overall great visit. I would drive all the way from Ohio to take her.
