We love Dr. Wilkinson and her staff! Everyone is friendly, compassionate, and knowledgeable. We have a lot of birds that can be difficult to handle, but they do an amazing job. When one bird needed surgery, she moved her schedule around to get him in that day and provided a very detailed report with instructions for care. We've had a lot of vets in the past, but Dr. Wilkinson is our favorite!

Asking many questions about diet and environment, Stacey Wilkinson,the vet, spent as much time as we needed. She wrote up excellent notes so we knew what our course of action could be. I would highly trust this office and will add more if we have the surgery.

Everyone there treats each case as though it were their own and truly have some magic up their sleeves! I know my animals are in good hands under their care and wouldn't imagine trusting anyone else with them. I'm always hesitant to spend money on my small farm birds, but their prices are very reasonable and they give a service far above and beyond what they charge. Look no further if you need a great vet for your precious loves.

This morning, I called with an emergency and the staff made a space for me even though the schedule was booked. I frantically walked in and the man behind the desk (who was so amazing, but I was too stressed to ask his name) instantly ran up and grabbed my cage and took my rat to the back. Unfortunately, I made the decision to put him down. I know they made it as easy as possible for him to pass over, and also made sure I was okay. They thanked me several times for the decision I made, left me I sweet little note on the invoice they printed out, and put him in a box with his name and hearts drawn on the top. They loved my baby up until his last little breath, and I couldn't ask for anything more. Thank you, from the bottom of my heart.

Took my little fur baby there for a wellness check. They did such and amazing job checking him over and were a wealth of information. They are extremely knowledgeable and so kind and gentle. It was a great experience, I have scheduled them to perform his neutering, too. It is so important to have a "rabbit savvy" vet when you own a rabbit. They are very fragile animals that can die within 24 hours of showing symptoms of sickness. I feel very confident that if something were to happen to my rabbit, the staff have the knowledge, experience and equipment to give him the best chance of survival.

The vet said she wanted me to leave my parakeet Sunny with her. I asked her if there was going to be someone at the office and she said no that she is taking all her animals home with her. The home her and her husband share has a Hurricane shelter in it. This is one vet that I belive truly cares about the safety an welfare of all the animals in her care.

I was very pleased with our first visit! Dr. W spent over 30 minutes with us to diagnose our guinea pig's issues. She was extremely thorough and kind. Will (vet tech?) was friendly both to me and my small children and patiently showed us how to administer all of my guinea pig's many meds. Their fees are reasonable and we were seen the same day. When I called, the doctor picked up the phone herself (!!) and answered some questions before I came in. We are SO glad we have an exotics specialist in Pooler!

We bought a Guinea Pig, named Bojangles, for my daughter, and when he was a little guy only about two months old (and sorry you have to read this next part), he fell off the upper landing of our stairs onto a table about 8 feet below, and broke his leg :( It was very traumatic for everyone in our home. I knew Stacey Wilkinson at Avian & Exotic Animal Hospital and we took Bojangles there immediately. They took very good care of him and checked him out for internal injuries, and gave us good advice about how much to spend on his care verses the benefits, and our little guy recovered. That is the kind of care you can expect from Dr. Stacey and Will. They are both sincere, wonderful, trustworthy, and incredibly knowledgeable and professional.

We love Dr. Wilkinson and her staff! Everyone is friendly, compassionate, and knowledgeable. We have a lot of birds that can be difficult to handle, but they do an amazing job. When one bird needed surgery, she moved her schedule around to get him in that day and provided a very detailed report with instructions for care. We've had a lot of vets in the past, but Dr. Wilkinson is our favorite!

I know my animals are in good hands under their care and wouldn't imagine trusting anyone else with them. I'm always hesitant to spend money on my small farm birds, but their prices are very reasonable and they give a service far above and beyond what they charge. This morning, I called with an emergency and the staff made a space for me even though the schedule was booked. I frantically walked in and the man behind the desk (who was so amazing, but I was too stressed to ask his name) instantly ran up and grabbed my cage and took my rat to the back. Unfortunately, I made the decision to put him down. I know they made it as easy as possible for him to pass over, and also made sure I was okay. They thanked me several times for the decision I made, left me I sweet little note on the invoice they printed out, and put him in a box with his name and hearts drawn on the top. They loved my baby up until his last little breath, and I couldn't ask for anything more. Thank you, from the bottom of my heart.

It was a great experience, I have scheduled them to perform his neutering, too. It is so important to have a "rabbit savvy" vet when you own a rabbit. They are very fragile animals that can die within 24 hours of showing symptoms of sickness. I feel very confident that if something were to happen to my rabbit, the staff have the knowledge, experience and equipment to give him the best chance of survival.

The vet said she wanted me to leave my parakeet Sunny with her. I asked her if there was going to be someone at the office and she said no that she is taking all her animals home with her. The home her and her husband share has a Hurricane shelter in it. This is one vet that I belive truly cares about the safety an welfare of all the animals in her care.

I was very pleased with our first visit! Dr. W spent over 30 minutes with us to diagnose our guinea pig's issues. She was extremely thorough and kind. Will (vet tech?) was friendly both to me and my small children and patiently showed us how to administer all of my guinea pig's many meds. Their fees are reasonable and we were seen the same day. When I called, the doctor picked up the phone herself (!!) and answered some questions before I came in. We are SO glad we have an exotics specialist in Pooler!

We bought a Guinea Pig, named Bojangles, for my daughter, and when he was a little guy only about two months old (and sorry you have to read this next part), he fell off the upper landing of our stairs onto a table about 8 feet below, and broke his leg :( It was very traumatic for everyone in our home. I knew Stacey Wilkinson at Avian & Exotic Animal Hospital and we took Bojangles there immediately. They took very good care of him and checked him out for internal injuries, and gave us good advice about how much to spend on his care verses the benefits, and our little guy recovered. That is the kind of care you can expect from Dr. Stacey and Will. They are both sincere, wonderful, trustworthy, and incredibly knowledgeable and professional.
