I love this clinic - it's laid back, quiet and friendly. I've been bringing my cats here since I moved to the Savannah area 4 years ago. At the time my husband was using Cedar Animal Hospital for his dogs and I really didn't like the busy, no nonsense attitude there so I looked around and found this place, and am I ever glad I did! Scheduling is always easy and I never have a problem getting in and out. I rarely if ever have had to wait around in the waiting room. Dr. Brigdon has always taken great care of my cats and I finally got to meet Dr. Welch last week - one of my cats had a couple lumps in his chest, and she just happens to be a soft tissue surgery specialist so definitely the right person for this problem! She was fantastic to work with - friendly, efficient, and apparently we're even neighbors! We had an appointment first thing Monday morning, surgery on Tuesday, and are heading back next week to follow up. They are always great about getting me in, are conveniently located, are very straightforward about treatment options and respectful of budgetary limitations. This spur of the moment, unexpected surgery did not break the bank and was a breeze for both me and my cat, who hasn't noticed anything is missing and thinks he owns my bedroom now. Which he does. I started coming here last year because my other vet closed down.  Ive been very pleased with the service, the vet, the staff and the facility in general.  They have the means to do most everything on site.  Dont try to push you into buying things you dont need, give you cost effective options, are caring and always fit you in their schedule. I am so glad I went to RH Animal Hospital! I had made an online appointment for my Golden to get his yearly vaccines at another (nation wide) clinic and when I got there, they informed me I had only 'requested' and appointment. They asked me to leave my dog until 3P (it was 9A) and they would fit him in. I didn't feel comfortable doing so and decided to leave. I called RH Animal Hospital on a whim and they were able to get him in that afternoon. The office was clean, the staff was friendly and I felt the vet spent an adequate amount of time going over everything and answering questions. My bill was very reasonable (almost half the price I would have paid at initial clinic!) considering all the vaccines and blood work that were done. I will definitely be back in 6 months when it's time for another heart worm vaccine! Read Less

Dr. Welch treats my two male guinea pigs. She's very sympathetic and caring. Most vets don't deal with guinea pigs, but she is wonderful with them. If you need an exotics vet, this is the place! The staff is awesome, too. They not only remembered MY name, but my boys' names, too! Read Less

By far the worst vet I have ever been too... When we got our 3rd dog we took her there to get her initial checkup. The place smells like urine when you first walk in for starters. Then the receptionist is rude and the vets aren't very pleasant either. After the initial checkup I left without feeling like they cared, but we were to bring her back to get her second booster shot... the 2nd time we brought her there we had changed her name to something we liked, not what the shelter named her. (a year later when trying to get a copy of her vet records for pet insurance they still hadn't changed something as simple as the name in their records and made the process much more difficult than need be. Needless to say we've changed vets and and are sure to warn off any friends who even consider this place. Read Less
