Our dog, Scooby was having some difficulties breathing and coughing. As we're new to the area we looked on line for an after-hours vet. Webb Animal Clinic was nearby. Dr Card called us back in about 10 mins after leaving a message. He is very caring and explained everything in detail using terms we could understand (including costs!). He has taken great care of our fur baby. We would highly recommend him as well as all the staff at Webb Animal Clinic! P.S. Last December we had to face the decision to let our Sadie be put down due to massive bladder cancer. The staff at Webb's were supportive and caring. They walked us through the process and were considerate of us and our old girl. We have used Webb's for more than eleven years and highly recommend them. My husband took my dog to them Tuesday night. He vomited a huge mass of stuff he ate. (Small toy small piece of plastic all matted up in hair) He had been throwing up every since. The vet said he felt a blockage and since we couldn't afford a xray or surgery he would probably die. He recommended euthanasia. My husband was devastated. He said no you are not killing my dog. The vet said at least let me give him a shot one for pain and one for nausea. MADE us sign a form saying we refused to euthanize him against their advice. 220.00 it cost for that!! We got help from a wonderful person, who had us take him to her vet. He got that 153.00 xray yesterday morning. Nothing showed up on xray except his stomach was really inflamed. They are treating him for damage stomach lining. He is on 4 medications. 256.00 to treat him including medication and xray. We left Webbs Tuesday night thinking our dog was dying and listened to him cry all night praying he would survive until we could get him to the other vet when they opened. Thanks for nothing you idiot. Thank God my husband did not let you EUTHANIZE our baby. Made be feel bad because "he was going to suffer" Well he is doped up but eating and recovering. How about care about animals instead of trying to make as much money as you can. 36.00 more than what we gave webbs treated him. We had a wonderful lady step up and pay for that. And her vet has a home clinic (just no xray machine) and was going to take him home and perform the surgery to save him if neede. THAT'S CARING ABOUT ANIMALS! This is the best office. Dr. Card is who we see. He knows my pets and has a relationship with our family. Your not just a "patient" They are always welcoming,thorough compassionate and professional. Please make sure you ask about vaccinations causing sarcomas. My cat got one from a vaccination at Webb. They show up years later. Now my cat is having surgery after a biospy, oncologist appt, CAT scan, lab work, and an appointment with the surgeon. I am heartbroken. It is sickening that vets don't tell us about this. The staff at Webb Animal Clinic was extremely accommodating to both me and my pet Pomeranian. They were professional and courteous at check-in and check-out. We've been going to Webb since we got our pup Loretta at 10 weeks old back in February. They've been so sweet to our baby girl and taken such great care of her. She just got back yesterday from staying the weekend with them in boarding and she came back so happy and even more obedient ()! She seemed to love her stay and the adorable picture they took of her proved it! We so recommend both the Veterinarian and boarding services to anyone looking. I guess for routine vaccines they know what they are doing. The Dr's have no sympathy (with the exception of Dr Farris). They seem to only care about the money not the animals not the owners. My seizure dog was passed around from Dr to Dr. As she was critical I was (me) was told I should call a specialist even though she had been there under their care. I was to try to get her an appointment and on a Friday. They will get no more money from me or anyone on my family. Please whatever happens take your baby to a specialist as soon as possible after learning they need anything other than the routine shot. Read Less

Been going there since Dr. Webb had the practice . I had one of my babies hurting an of course after hr. on Christmas Eve and after 12 so after calling and could not talk or leave a message and calling three other vets I am so sorry for our Vet service for Effingham county . After spending almost 400 I found that she had a sprain neck but she was in pain and I could not leave her that way . Three or four Vets at Webb's and not one on call but send you to Savannah for care . I live in Effingham and like to use the services at home . I Could not find one out of the bunch in Effingham Co. that take turns to be on hand . I like the people in the office and the Vets but like our kids our babies , well they do not always pick the good times to need their doctors and we need someone to care even on Holidays , Sorry if it will miss up your holiday but I set in there for over 4 hours to find what they could have told me in an hr. or two at home. I absolutely can't say enough great things about Webb animal clinic!! Dr Carter especially, but anytime I saw the other vets they were also phenomenal! Just prior to arriving in Ga, my 14 yr old rat terrier Dillon was diagnosed with a heart murmur. He means everything to me and I was confused, scared and devastated. Although I was a wreck, Dr Carter put my nerves at ease through tests and thorough explanation of what to expect. Anytime I saw any of the vets, they were always personable and compassionate towards my sensitivity to Dillon's health. The clinic clearly loves our pets and even puts a personal touch on every visit your pet stays for the day with a take home photo shoot of your pet! It's hilarious... Once it was Dillon in a back drop of a field of flowers and another a hawaiian setting with a lei around his neck. I've moved away... Webb Animal clinic saved my kitten's life.The vet took her to a back room when I told him she wasn't eating and tried several different methods to see if she would take to any of them to get her started eating properly. He went over and above for her, knowing I was extremely worried. The staff was incredibly friendly and they were even able to get me in that same evening because it was an emergency, even though I had called late in the afternoon. They have always been upfront with the prices and it has never been anything other than what I was told or quoted. I love them and I am not taking my pets anywhere else for care. Read Less

I have been a client of Webb Animal Clinic for years & they have always been the BEST clinic around. Those people love their patients just like they were their own. I have never been anywhere that the receptionist sit on the floor with the animals while offering treats to make the animals feel welcome. The Doctors are wonderful & have always given my pets the attention that they need. This staff goes above & beyond no matter what from the beautiful pictures they send home to the little christmas orniment I received this past December. If every vet or human dr's office were like them then people wouldn't have any problems waiting. I would recommend this practice to any & everyone!!!!! Read Less
