Crossroads Equine Veterinary Services

Ringgold, Georgia
General Info

Crossroads Equine Veterinary Services supports horse owners in Ringgold and throughout Catoosa County, with regular travel to Fort Oglethorpe, Tunnel Hill, and East Ridge (TN). Designed around the realities of farm life, the practice provides responsive field care and haul-in options for evaluations and procedures. The goal is straightforward: practical equine medicine delivered where and when it’s needed, with clear recommendations for training, performance, and long-term soundness.

Preventive care builds a healthier barn. Routine Wellness Exams and age-appropriate Vaccinations help limit disease risk, while targeted Parasite Prevention programs are adapted to pasture management and herd dynamics. When lameness or injuries occur, advanced imaging—Radiology (X-Rays) and Ultrasound—provides quick answers so treatment can stay on schedule.

The practice performs field and clinic Surgery as appropriate and offers comprehensive Reproductive Services, including breeding soundness checks and pregnancy monitoring. In foaling season, the team helps owners anticipate needs and respond to problems rapidly.

Because horses rarely wait for office hours, Crossroads maintains dependable Emergency Care and flexible Mobile Vet Services, minimizing stress for both horses and handlers. Case notes emphasize actionable plans—conditioning changes, rest timelines, farrier coordination—so owners can keep progress on track.

By combining farm-ready responsiveness with modern diagnostics, Crossroads delivers reliable Equine Care that supports performance and longevity across Catoosa County and the surrounding area. For mobile equine veterinary care in Ringgold, Fort Oglethorpe, and East Ridge, contact Crossroads Equine Veterinary Services.

I can't say enough about Crossroads. Dr. Michael White is a very compassionate and competent equine veterinarian. We were so thrilled when we moved to this area and knew Dr. White was going to be our veterinarian. From the first time he came to our property to today Dr. White has always been on time and more than willing to answer any questions or provide for any needs that our horses, Ranger and Spirit might need. When a year and a half ago when we lost our beloved horse, Rembrandt, Dr. White was there to pray for us and give us his support and solace. We feel that if anyone has the privilege to have Dr. White and his staff at Crossroads they will not be disappointed. Susan and Marshall Read Less

Dr. White of Crossroads Equine has been caring for my horses for more than 10 years. He has seen us through several crises as well as provided our routine vaccines and maintenance care. He is unfailing kind and patient with both myself and my animals, always willing to answer my questions and discuss fees, alternative treatments or care, and continues to monitor my horse's condition until all is well. Although Dr. White has treated the majority of my horses issues himself, I appreciate that he has also referred us to an equine hospital when he felt we would be better served. I am deeply grateful to have him as our equine vet. Read Less

Dr. White is always just a phone call or a text away. He almost always answers his phone when you call. You don’t have to worry about leaving a voice mail and wonder if he’s going to get back with you. He is available 24 hrs a day. He always explains the situation and goes step by step with you letting you know what he is doing and is always happy to answer any questions you may have. Have a visible problem? Send him some pictures and he always tries to let you know if it’s anything serious or just how to care for it so you don’t have to have him come out. Always follows up when you have a sick horse to check on them. I cannot say enough good things about Dr. White. I’m so glad that we found him for our equines and will not use anyone else. Keep up the great work and hope you stay around for a long time! We are lucky to have you! Read Less

Crossroads Equine is the BEST! Dr. White has been our horses' vet since 2008. Four days after we moved to our current home, my two horses were stolen. We recovered them, but one was seriously injured. I had two vets at the time, but neither one would come because "it was cow day." A friend put me in touch with Dr. White, and as soon as he heard what had happened, he was on his way. From that moment on, he became our horses' vet forever! My horse recovered beautifully thanks to his excellent care. Read Less
