Went in with my deer head Chihuahua Gigi. 18 yrs old. They let me hold my lil queen while she went to sleep and her heart stopped. She was gone. They handled her with super care. I would recommend them to anyone, anytime. They are so kind and caring. Read Less

Took my newly adopted kitty to them for a check up. They noticed the Humane Society didn't perform a few tests and did them for free as well as the office visit, so I didn't pay a dime. My chihuahua has Addison's disease and I have to take her there once a month for her steroid shot and it does not require a Veterinary appointment with the doctor I can bring her in anytime during business hours and a veterinary technician can give her the steroid shot without having to pay for her seeing the doctor. We started taking our fur baby Lucy to VCA about a month ago. Our vet retired and had to close due to health reasons. After a visit to an incompetent vet who couldn't diagnose Lucy our border collie mix with chow with diabetes. I was a little fretful what we were going to do. We went to VCA and within 24 hours Dr. Ed McEnroe called me with the diagnosis we had expected since July. That Sat. morning he had us come in to begin our fur baby on getting her diabetes under control. We have had one emergency visit and we were in the office that afternoon that fit my schedule. We saw Dr. Ed and before we left that late afternoon around 6:00 pm. We knew exactly what was wrong with Lucy. Left there with her meds, had to reschedule her glucose curve appt. and my baby was on her way to getting well. The staff is super friendly. They know you when you walk in the door. I witnessed that with other owners and their pets, as well. I hope they are around for years to come for the sakes of all of us pet owners who do not want to see their pets suffer needlessly. We have taken all of our dogs to VCA for 25 years or so. Dr. Fisher and staff have always been great with our dogs. They take their time to hear our concerns and help us with their care. The vets and staff are so friendly to the humans and the four leggeds. They actually got down on the floor with my Australian Shepherd and made her feel comfortable before proceeding with her exam and shots. This really helped all of us have less anxiety. After using another Vets office for years my Little weenie dog Bandit of 8 years got turned away at the door because they were "busy" in a case I deemed critical he needed seen right then. We went to VCA and within an hour my little man was diagnosed with IVDD and prescribed meds along with rest and is on a great road to recovery. They called twice and even emailed me with all the concerns and questions I had and still have. They are now going to be a part of this family for years to come! After using the same vet for years, I was reluctant to begin using another vet. I have a very anxious cocker and a puppy that my previous vet just didn't seem to click with. From the moment I walked through the doors at VCA Catoosa, I knew this was the vet for my pets. They were very welcoming and only offered services that they knew my pets needed. I booked an appointment with VCA Catoosa Animal Hospital and was extremely pleased with the whole overall experience. The staff was courteous and helpful and Dr. Fisher was friendly and through. I've taken three pets to VCA Catoosa over the past six months and have been very pleased with everything about the animal hospital. Pet 1 was a kitten that showed up in our yard injured and got her wound cleaned and antibiotics to heal up the infection. Pet 2 was a cat we've had for ten years. She got into a tussle with a neighbor cat and ended up with a wound that got infected. She's all healed up now. And just this morning we took our 16-year-old dog to have her put down because her legs had stopped working. The vet and techs were wonderful, kind and professional. The young man who seemed to be training as a tech held our dog's head and pet her as the other tech inserted a port for the medication. Other reviewers have mentioned that the vets are never in a hurry, always happy to take time to answer your questions, and I've found this to be true also. I find this clinic to be very dependable and professionally run. Dr. Nepp and Dr. Fisher have proven to be responsive to my dogs needs and have helped me understand the ways to deal with aging pets. I also find the Techs to be very reliable. Read Less
