My dog blew out her knee again today, nine months after surgery to “fix” it. Unfortunately the surgery performed is not recommended for a dog of her weight. Prior to her surgery in March, we were never told she would have to be confined to a cage for 12 weeks. Never heard from the vet after calling the office to let them know of this omission which we found out because we read the post-surgical instructions. I guess money was more important than the proper care of my dog. Horrible. Read Less

We love N Roswell Vet Clinic -- we took our cat there for over 15 years and always felt we had excellent care -- Dr S takes the time to explain what's going on at each visit and is available for any concerns. When we recently had to make the difficult decision to put her down the entire staff was so caring and concerned. They really understand our 4 legged kids are part of the family. Brought our dog here in an emergency when he had to be put down. Staff was very nice and accommodating of our emergency situation. Talked us through all the options (though we really only had one). Very sympathetic and even sent us a very nice condolence card a week later. Read Less

We have been taking our pets to NRVC for many years. We trust Dr. Shepherd and his staff with the care of our fur babies. We have weathered some rough times with the staff at NRVC... recently losing our 14+ year old sheltie, Maggie. Dr. Shepherd walked us through all of our options and was there for us when Maggie went to heaven. The staff at NRVC are the best... such caring individuals. I've been using North Roswell Veterinary Clinic for over 3 years.  My first experience was with a rescue dog that is associated with the animal shelter I rescued a dog from. The care was expert, the staff was professional, thorough, kind and well educated with excellent communication.  From regular treatments to surgery, I've never experienced their equal. Sadly, our sweet dog passed due to natural causes at a very young age. When NRVC received word of this from the emergency vet we'd gone to in the middle of the night, they contacted us immediately, provided condolences and assured us there was nothing that could have been done preventatively or during the crisis.  We have a new baby who we're going to be bringing up for a check up.  I currently live in Smyrna but I will drive to Roswell for NRVC.  Nothing but the best for my animals. Dr. Laketa is AMAZING!! I trust her care & judgement far above any others with my fur babies! We live an *hour & a half* away from NRVC but whenever one of my doggies needs a surgery or any type of serious treatment--believe me--she is well worth the drive over!! Read Less

I've been going to North Roswell Veterinary Clinic since 2010 with my now 14 year old beagle, Kudos. Recently, I thought I was taking her for the last time. She has issues of course at 14(98) but this last intestinal virus was the worst and I cried for days thinking she wouldn't pull through. Although Dr. Shepherd made it clear only I could make decisions about her final destiny, he talked me through it and kept me from panicking and making the wrong decision. I'd been taking my dog to NRVC for 11 1/2 years. Dr. Shepard and Dr. Laketa, as well as everyone on their staff are all very dedicated people; you can tell that they love what they do and truly care about the animals AND their owners. I have never been denied a boarding request there; I have always been able to get an appointment when I needed to, and my dog loved going there. My most recent experience is regarding the final days of Candy Cane's life; she was ill with lymphoma. My family was given as much time as we needed to say goodbye, we were treated with respect and dignity, and at the end, we were given hugs and told to call if we needed anything.. Read Less

The staff is loving and very knowledgeable. You can tell that everyone there is an animal lover. I recently lost a pet and they have checked up on me multiple times to make sure that I am ok and have also offered counseling when looking at getting a new dog.
