While traveling around the US with our cats in our motor home, our elderly cat developed a serious problem and we thought it might be the end for her. Case Vet Hospital is outstanding. We live in Bluffton SC for 4 months of the year and have 3 dogs. Their care is efficient, courteous, friendly and fabulous. The vets are very nice and seem to know what they are doing but will seem to upsell everything.  Essentially all items and services are priced much higher than other vets, including services rendered by just the tech.  And you will be waiting quite awhile as they are always busy.All in all, good care but you will pay extra for it and wait for it Read Less

I cannot stress how much it means to a pet owner like myself to have a veterinarian that provides exceptional and compassionate care to your pet. Dr. Geoff Hall is a terrific doctor and he really knows me and my Boston Terrier. He takes care of both of us. He soothes my concerns and gives me a lot of options for treatments. I have been a client at Case Veterinary Hospital for almost five years. I am always treated as a valued customer. Vet care is expensive but they never push me to do more than I can afford. My main doctor is Dr. Geoff Hall. He is a wonderful doctor and takes good care of my dog. He is so good with every animal we have taken there. Dr. Walker is also very good as are all of the doctors we have seen. While the front desk can be busy, all of the staff knows me and my Abby Inez. They all try to build relationships with their customers. They also board pets and they have an insurance plan called Case Care which gives you discounts and covers all of your pet's annual exams and shots. I really love this place. Read Less

This vet hospital truly cares about your pet. My cat had some teeth problems and I figured I'd be recommended the most expensive treatment plan right off the bat, however I was not. They took it slow and investigated first, always letting me know costs along the way. I greatly appreciate that because as well all know, vets can be pricey. The best vet we have found! We have 2 dogs and 3 cats and all of them have been cared for here! We had an emergency illness with one of our cats last year and they were amazing, from the front office all the way to the kennel techs.It was amazing to have such support and care for our sick baby. They also referred us to a Cardiologist in Charleston, which is nice to know they will do what is best for our pets. I love, love, love this place. The reception staff are so friendly and helpful, the techs are really great with my cats, and the vets are beyond compare. Dr. Hall and Dr. O'Connor really seem to get the vibe I have with my cats--they know that if I think one of my cats is sick, the cats need to come in. I know my cats very well. Case is a little pricey, but worth every penny. The entire staff love animals and it shows. The Case staff is wonderful, friendly and knowledgable, entire place is clean, the wait never long, the lobby shop has nice items and they contribute to technology by participating in an all important flea study for a leading manufacturer. The vets are very nice and kind to animals. It's obvious they are told to up sell all kinds of treatments and testing options for your animal to raise the charge of the visit. It is very sad that the concern for the animals is not put first but rather making the Case family very wealthy. Once the vet sees your pet they complete and bill for you to view before they will treat your dog. Literally WTF?? Reminds me of a used car lot. I have met with 4 of the doctors so far because of all three of my cats getting sick at different times during the course of a 5 week period. They have all been awesome. Not only do they care about my cats, but they care about the owner, too. Having 3 very sick cats (with 3 separate ailments), I have been a frazzled mess. I have a 3yr old cat who has had a lot of upper respiratory issues on and off. Late one night it was clear she was getting very sick again. The next morning I called CASE first thing and they (having never seen her) took her in for a walk-in urgent care appointment. They mainly do regular vet check ups, I believe.I told them she does not like going to the vet, and while a different vet's office formerly pushed her to the point of scratching a tech and recommended sedation for a routine check up, the staff here at CASE started out w thoughtful accommodations. They brought in a warm towel sprayed with pheromones from a nursing mother cat to soothe her. She lay on the towel the entire visit. During check up the vet and tech petted and soothed her and would stop if she hissed or became agitated, soothed her again before continuing.They were also very careful to ask me about procedures, options, potential outcomes, and pricing. They did not proceed without my consent. They helped me find solutions to a potentially expensive visit. This allowed me to securely provide the proper tests and care for my sick pet.I am very impressed with this clinic! I do intend to continue here. The staff seems happy, laughing and cheerful, friendly, and truly care about their pets and owners. It was stress free for myself and for the most part for my cat (who was calmer than any previous vet visits elsewhere!). We just moved back to Savannah and weren't sure where to go. I had to drop off my dog because I couldn't get an appointment for the next 3 days. We waited at reception for a vet tech to pick up my dog; in the meantime, the vet techs around us were chatting with other clients about personal or irrelevant stuff. Other dogs that came after us got picked up too. Not us. After more than 30 mins, I finally just got up to ask if we were to be seen. After all I just needed someone to pick up my dog. Seriously, how can we be invisible? If you have clients waiting at the lobby, please attend to them first before you make small talk with others for 20 mins. Some people have other things to do! My cat, Tigris, couldn't be seen by her regular vet. This is where my kitten, Oliver, gets seen and has received excellent care, so I brought Tigris. Especially since they told me they didn't have any open appointments but would see Tigris as an urgent care visit. They treated her with such care and respect, and treated me the same way. Case Veterinary Hospital is wonderful. Dr. Case-McCorvey is brilliant, caring, and up-to-date medically and surgically. Prices are fair and reasonable. Service is prompt and appropriate. Staff is friendly and efficient. I just tried the grooming services with Wendy, and she did a wonderful job on my Samoyed (a very difficult breed to groom). I have not been able to find anyone to groom him properly in a long time, but Wendy managed to do it and for a reasonable cost!! I never write reviews, but this place is stellar.Literally everyone who works at CASE is friendly and welcoming.  They all know my dog's name, and he actually gets super excited when we pull into the parking lot because he loves being greeted by all of the techs and staff at the door.  The veterinarians are knowledgable, and all of them have been very good at handling my dog and cats.  The techs are wonderful.  They even have special pet candles going in the lobby, so it smells like apple pie and various other things you won't expect to come wafting through the doorway when you enter a vet clinic.  Love it. I needed to buy a certain brand of flea control medicine for my cats asap (they are door dashers and got outside before the yard could be treated) and am unable to get to my regular vet because I am in a cast and taking the bus or subway to a different vet in this heat wave and in my condition is totally out of the question, so I went online looking for a place that sells it.  Amazon was out of stock and 1-800PetMeds no longer carries it but I found this company while Googling "where can I buy Vectra 3D online".  Nice website that says "Please check out our wide selection of products that can be delivered right to your door" and 5 to 9 day ground shipping is free, so they must deliver all over the country, right?   I look up the phone number separately and call and ask a couple of questions about autoship to make sure they are for real before I place an order online.  The prices are just a few dollars different from what my vet charges so I decide to order enough for the rest of the year and pay for two day delivery.  An hour later I check my e-mail and what do I see?  They denied my order because: "We are sending this e-mail to notify you that an item you have requested for your pet cannot be processed at this time for the following reason:No client/patient relationshipWTH????   You want me to fly my pets to Savannah and introduce them to you before I can buy flea control products from your website?If you only want to sell to people who take their pets to your brick & mortar location, you should mention that on your website right up front.  I could have spent the time I used to register and place an order on your site posting a job on Task Rabbit for someone to make a fast $20 doing a round trip to pick up and deliver Vectra to me from my local vet.Re their response:This "required" client/patient relationship was not mentioned WHEN I CALLED YOUR OFFICE TO CHECK YOU GUYS OUT BEFORE I PLACED MY ORDER like I said in my review. Not easy to write a review when the outcome is saying good-bye to a 16 year old pet, but it was time, and I am a new resident.  So I went to Case.  The receptionist on the phone that helped me make the appointment was kind and caring and so respectful.  Then the two vet techs, Shelby and Melissa, were beyond thoughtful, both having lost their own precious pets recently.  Dr. Klarer was perhaps the most thoughtful and caring vet I have ever experienced.  I knew my dog and I were her only concerns.  Thanks so much to these wonderful people.  When I am ready to bring another dog into my world, CASE will be my go-to Pet Care!!!  Thanks! I had to take my sick 5 year old Westie, Fred, into Case last week.  We were able to be seen the same day that I called.  The Vet Tech was great and handled Fred confidently.  She asked good questions and put me at ease right away.  When Dr. Allgood came in, after a thorough examination, we discussed a number of treatment options and she helped me make a decision as to how I wanted to proceed.  Fred got subcutaneous fluids right away to help him start feeling better and some medications.  Fred was feeling better in a day or two.  A few days later I received a call to check on Fred, and I was happy to report he was well.  The whole experience was positive from beginning to end.  I have used Case for grooming and boarding since moving here Aug 2012.  All the staff has been friendly, courteous and helpful. Case is by far the best vet clinic we have used since moving to the south.  We had to say good bye to our beloved 9 1/2 year old great Dane last month and Dr. Allgoood's caring and compassionate nature made the unbearable process more bearable.  We had to rush her in just before closing and her and the staff were so sweet  and willing to stay for us.  They were able to take digital x rays which let us quickly confirm the problem we feared was present.  We had to make a very tough decision that day and I don't know what we would have done without Dr. Allgood and Chelsea.  They made our sweet dog as comfortable as possible and allowed us enough time to make the right decision.  I can't say enough about the wonderful staff and doctors.  They treat us like family every time we bring our pets in! My puppy, Tybee, who is 6 years old and my right hand man tore his ACL at the end of last year. Without resources to get it fixed immediately, he ended up having a partial tear in his second leg as well. Frantic and unable to see my pup in so much pain, I began searching for a vet to perform surgery to correct this problem (at an actual price we could afford.) First we checked out a TPLO specialist, the price was far too high for a young military couple, and the separation (for physical therapy) was a hard pill to swallow. My dog is very attached to me, and over a month apart would destroy his heart. So I called every vet and vet hospital within a 200 mile radius of our then home in Beaufort, SC. After much debate we settled on getting his surgery done at Case Veterinary Hospital in Savannah, GA by Dr. Mike Ammermon. Immediately, Dr. Ammermon made us feel good in our decision by taking care to answer every single question we had - and never rushing us. He had taken a large amount of time out of his busy schedule to make sure prior to surgery that Tybee was feeling ok and if there was anything he needed (we had about a month between when we became in contact to when the surgery was scheduled.) We decided to go with the TTA surgery (bilateral) and have both legs operated on at the same time for a hopefully quicker recovery. We haven't regretted that decision for one moment. After about a week, we picked Tybee up from Case and brought him home. Though the first few weeks were rough, he immediately began to walk better (something I hadn't seen in a long, long time.) At his 6 week checkup, we saw from the xrays that everything was healing properly. By his 12 week checkup, he even gave Dr. Ammermon a lick on the face! (A huge accomplishment for Tybee has a serious case of white coat syndrome.) We recently moved to Savannah, but even before we had we agreed that coming to Case was well worth the hour drive. Each and every time we visit, we are treated with such kindness, and after every visit Dr. Ammermon makes sure to call and give us thorough updates. I have never been more satisfied with any procedure or service that is offered at Case. If your pup is suffering from a torn ACL or needs any type of orthopedic work, I would highly recommend Dr. Ammermon at Case Veterinary Hospital and the TTA surgery. I wanted to review the vet services and the grooming separately.First I am going to have to give the grooming service 1 STAR. The major reason for this is that a day after I had her groomed I noticed blood on her leash and on her foot. Turns out they tried to clip her nails when I explicitly asked them not to. So not only did they not follow my request they did a poor job. Second, I asked the the sanitary areas and the back legs to be clipped. This did not happen. I expected more from a groomer who operates through a vet's office. I was sadly disappointed.The vet service deserves 5 stars. Dr. Dasher was really good with my 13 year old Chow mix. Turns out that she had been dealing with a bad bladder infection for a while and my previous vets never caught it. My dog is doing so much better now. My wallet on the other hand needs major help. I used to take my dog there many years ago. So I took my kitten, and they euthanized her because she bit them. I went to pick her up and they said she was sent off to Atlanta to make sure the vet does not catch anything from her. When moving to Savannah, one of my first tasks was to find a vet for my beloved dog. I called Case after hearing good things, and asked to make a "Meet and Greet" appointment. The staff was so wonderful, giving me and my dog a tour of the hospital and arranging for an introduction between my dog and some of the doctors. This made me feel much more comfortable and the doctors indicated that they liked the idea of getting to know their patients before any real visits occur. We have had nothing but positive experiences from this clinic, and are always treated with respect and compassion. The other review here mentions no outside space for the animals, but I feel much safer knowing my dog will not be outside in such a busy traffic area. Case earns the highest marks in my opinion!!!
