Four Paws Animal Hospital

Statham, Georgia
General Info
Statham families know that Four Paws Animal Hospital performs basic repetitive actions to establish flow throughout Georgia as their pet receives care. The appointment rooms are set up daily to make sure that furniture, lighting, and entry points are always the same. Staff members perform minimal vocal and body movement techniques, and pause between procedures to allow pets to acclimate. Effective smell management is another key area of focus, with scents being neutralized after every visit to avoid “buildup.” Pet owners have the opportunity to position themselves either close or far away depending on the pet’s orientation pattern. Four Paws Animal Hospital provides diagnostic services and infection prevention, evaluates joint health, offers dietary adjustments, conducts behavioral consultations, and monitors recovery. Notice how the service is introduced in a natural flow, not as a checklist. When the animal turns away or lowers its ears, the staff attempts to re-establish grounding by “air stroking” and offering towels or sleeves as tactile anchors. Protocols related to patient care after treatments frequently use the phrase “back to the rhythm of life.” Post procedure training also empowers family to maintain morning routines, reduce other house hold stimuli and adopt gentle ambient sounds in an effort to control the sleep cycles. Instructions entail making adjustments in the pet’s environment, enabling it to perform its daily routines without losing direction. Four Paws Animal Hospital practices a natural animal regulation philosophy in the form of gentle rhythm, predictable space, and low-noise decision-making. The veterinary services extend from Statham to neighboring Georgia communities. Services at Four Paws Animal Hospital include: Radiology (X-rays), Emergency Care, Reptile Care, Wellness Exams, Vaccinations, Laser Therapy, In-House Pharmacy, Dental Care, Spay/Neuter and Puppy and Kitten Care. This range of services ensures that pet owners in Statham, GA, and nearby areas have a one-stop facility for all their pets’ health needs. The clinic is a trusted name in Statham due to its efforts to ensure pets’ comfort and promote their health throughout their lives.

I love going here!!!! I travel all the way from East Athens to ensure my three cats get the best care in GA! The entire staff cares deeply about your animals and understand that they are family members and treat them as such. One of my cats has a slight heart murmur and Dr. Thibodeaux is an amazing heart expert. At my last visit, all my cats were two years behind on their shots (a new baby kept us busy!) and Dr. Lloyd was very patient and thorough when listening and answer all my questions. I couldn't recommend a better place for your furr babies! Read Less

I have been here for more than one Pet. Few years ago when we came with first dog the staff gave quotes that stood firm and were very professional. You could rely on them and what they told you. Something has to change, I do not know what happened but I can call about quote on visit, go to visit and "oh, you have to pay this instead, I forgot " or on flea pill (which was told to call in before coming) "yes we have it, thats fine it will be here" Go in and they do not have what I called for. Said that I have to by box treatment (twice as much money).... they said "it was their new policy" I said, since when! There is no notice, no email, no sign and not one word on the phone about this when I called in the flea pill (that they said was there). They used this "new Policy " for excuse , when I heard them say in another room that they had 15 ... so basically the people there are inconsistent when you call about prices of things ( so you know what to budget for on visit) because when you go to visit it will be more because they forgot or mistake and more. *** FYI*** when doing a change in policy: you post on door, desk, wall and/or email. And give at least a month notice for customers. NOT AT YOUR CONVENIENCE WHEN YOU MESS UP! and that ordering online they will tell you about.. yeah that is only if you sign up for it automatically every month. No choice ... no other option.
