Hi we hve been bringing all our family animals since we moved here 15years ago. Since then we hve since alot of positive changes take place. More women doctors have been brought in and they r not only the best they r the sweetest towards our sick babies. Hopefully, there is never one OPTION and they do everything within their power sometimes things don't work out the way we want  them to but I can tell u it will be the least invasive first, then if that doesn't work then the Dr will set down and give u the pros and cons. I took my 10 yr. old toy poodle because she had broken a tooth, turns out she need to have it removed along with a few others and her teeth cleaned; also a small growth on her back was removed.  These place was so great to deal, I knew my approximate bill before the work was done and was given specific instructions on her care when picking her up later that afternoon.  These Vets really care for the animals! My first visit to the office since moving to the area and I was really impressed! The tech handled my cat with compassion and care and was very nice! Dr. Harper was excellent as well! We brought our dog Daisy in a week ago abecause we thought she was losing her hearing. Dr. Aycock examined her and diagnosed her problem and gave us ear drops and a flush. Three days later after giving Daisy the treatments she was back to her old self barking at the doorbell (which she couldn't hear before) and heard us calling her from the other room! A good experience for the most part. This was my dog's first visit to them. We are new to the area, and I wanted to get her a vet. When we walked in, the front desk person (a woman with an English accent) coldly said she would be right this us. So I signed in and sat down. Fast forward 20 minutes. Not a word from her. Okay. The vet tech called us back, and she was great. The vet was equally great. I would have given them five stars if the front desk person had been more professional. Our dog, Annie, was 16 yrs old and it's because of this clinic we had her that long. She was put to sleep in peace. Yesterday our kitty was run over and her quality of life would be slim to none so we let her go too. I don't know how the employees handle so many tears as their fur babies come to the end. I recently adopted a dog and looked online for reviews of veterinarians in the vicinity and came across Hudson Bridge Animal Clinic.  I was impressed by the online reviews but also asked my groomer for a recommendation.   (I've known this groomer for ~13 years; she has lived in the Stockbridge/McDonough area for many years and she groomed my previous dogs when I lived in a neighboring county.) My groomer said without hesitation - "Hudson Bridge Animal Clinic!  that's where i take my dogs"  I made an appointment for my new dog to get on heartworm medication, to get a dog flu shot and to inquire about a preoccupation he had with one of his paws ;-).   I was very pleased with my first visit.   First of all, it is one of the cleanest veterinary offices I have ever been to and the layout of the office is really conducive to servicing pets.  The front staff was friendly and efficient.   The Assistant listened closely to my concerns and the reasons for my visit, and  seeing my dog had some anxiety about being there, she put him at ease.  Dr. Hill  gave me good advice and had really good bedside manner with my dog.   I left convinced I made the right choice.  I felt like they cared about my dog, and I feel good about bringing him there for health needs in the future. Have been going here since relocating from NY over 10 years ago. Was afraid I would not find the same great quality I had there here. Boy was I wrong! Each and every vet here is so knowledgable and current. I make appointments and don't have to choose Vets between them bc they are all so good! And the staff are all great! One of the techs who works there actually worked for my vet in NY. I felt really comfortable and pleased that she was there. The tech are great and so helpful when you call with questions. Moved here from NYC and hoped of finding a good Vet.  Got a recommendation to HBAC and found them to be as great! Knowledgable, kind, caring and knowing the economy, they work with you.  All the vets there are so good I don't even have a preference, I just say I need an appointment and I know my fur kids will be getting the best care.  I really appreciate the time they all take to explain things and they answer all of my questions.  When I do research on a product or type of care, they take the time to look it up and advise me.  They are so open to alternatives.  The staff there is great too, I have NO complaints.  I have five fur kids (2 dogs, 3 cats) and always have to call with problems they are having.  The techs are great when I have questions.  The doctors are also great at returning calls!  The front desk ladies are awesome!I have been going here since 2008. I referred a friend who lived in Riverdale, his wife is a surgical nurse.  They both love HB!  They recently moved to Brookhaven, but still make the trip to Stockbridge.  The folks here are that good.Smooches HB!M. I have been using Hudson Bridge Animal Clinic since I became the owner of a new puppy.He has gotten very sick on several occasions and it seems to be associated with the larger breed of dogs. I have always seen Dr. Aycock and I'll have to say, he has been very persistant in diagnosing the problem. Dr Aycock has always called to follow-up and is very thorough in answering any questions I have and being a DAWG fan is just a plus. We began using this clinic when we were new to the area in 2004. Our dog, who was a chow mix didn't have the best temperament but Dr. Toole was patient with him. This had me sold.Dr. Toole doesn't rush through your pets appointment and will take the time to answer questions and give advice.Prices are comparable and they do stay busy! Hudson Bridge Animal Clinic is a great vet clinic.  It is owned by Dr. Toole, who is great, but we use Dr. Sherri Harper, who is AMAZING.  She has seen three of our cats, and is smart, gentle, caring, knowledgeable, and practical.  She helped us through a terrible terminal illness this winter with one of our cats, and her strength and compassion and availability got us through an awful time.The vet techs are all wonderful, and the desk staff (with one exception) is friendly and helpful.  The place is clean, although it's often very busy.  They don't have staff overnight, which can be a concern if you leave a pet to recover from something.  But they will work with you on the issue if you are a bit of a pet overparent. ;)  Pricing seems reasonable to me, but I haven't really comparison-shopped.Anyway, Dr. Harper is a great generalist, and I hope you check her out.
