I have left this practice because of rude staff and more importantly dr laVert is uncaring for your animal and is rude to the owner. If you ask any questions she becomes very defensive and will not answer your questions. She did not return to talk to me after doing a medical procedure on my dog but sent the tech to tell me to go home. No pain meds no explanations. She is very rude and does not know veterinary or medical processes. She instead gets rude and walks out if you ask any questions. After 8 years I will never go back. Called for the first time, to make an appointment for my sick cat, and got in the next day.  The staff was very friendly and we saw Dr Morrison.  She was caring, knowledgeable, and friendly.  She sent us home with medicine and instructions.  The bill was reasonable for treatment.  Kitty started to get better and we were happy.  But then two days later, Dr Morrison called to check on her patient!  I was so pleasantly surprised!I highly recommend Town and Country, as well as Dr. Morrison! We've been coming to Town and Country with our dog and cat for four years and absolutely love them! Our pit mix has bad allergies and our cat had extensive jaw surgery so this place has become a second home at times. I've always found the prices to be reasonable and the staff helpful in explaining the costs to me. Everyone is friendly and welcoming! Dr. LeVert is a miracle worker! I can't thank the staff at Town and Country enough for always keeping my babies safe and healthy. ❤️ Read Less

Today was our first visit to this vet. I had called a week ahead of time to make sure that I was clear on all of my concerns and explanations of costs. I was quoted $65 for Heartguard and $10 for a nail trim. The vet and assistants were wonderful. What was not ok, was that when I went to pay, it was $50 more than I was quoted. When I said something to the receptionist, there was no apology, no "how can we make this right?"; it was her verifying that she was correct from another employee. I didn't want to make a scene in front of a full house. We will not be returning. If I can't trust someone on their quoted costs, they will not be trusted with my pets. Read Less

This was our first time at Town and Country and will be our last. We brought in our Maine Coon to be spayed. Earlier this week she was seen at a clinic in Perry for vaccinations and her yearly examination. We are new and this is our first stateside assignment. I did not have to wait long before she was seen; which was nice. Prior to her spay they would need to examine her and before the examination they suggested a couple tests prior to her spay. I declined because we have paperwork on her from our breeder; she had gone through genetic and several blood tests last year. The vet came in and examined our girl; and after told me her concern and diagnosed her with a grade 3 heart murmur. Funny, as we had her screened earlier this week and spent over $100 at her last vet visit; $35 went to a wellness pet exam. The vet in Perry gave us a clean bill of health. She started suggesting blood tests and wanted to give us referrals to a Pet cardiologist before I asked for a second opinion. She seemed bothered by it, but agreed and took her next door to another vet to check her heart. When they came back the results were negative and she was completely fine. They explained that it could have been her panting that was throwing off the results and that they calmed her down a bit the second time and found nothing. It was not a matter of money; we have invested a lot in our pets. We are military and transported our animals from Germany; we think of them as family and if there was something seriously wrong with them we would move forward to keep them healthy. Next year I graduate with a hospital administration degree (bachelor's of Science in Health Science Business) and I am hesitant about unnecessary treatments and medications that could result in more harm than good. I couldn’t help but think that they were trying to nickel and dime us and the visit has left me with a bitter taste. I received a call later on letting me know that her surgery went smooth and she is awake and doing great, but that they have one more concern. We were aware of her dental issues, but Perry vet said it was no huge issue and could have been caused from trauma. I will be getting a third opinion in this case and it will not be at Town and Country. Read Less

The doctor was great, only issue I have with this place was the disrespectful front desk. My pup was only 6weeks. I called to get all the information what we needed for a first visit and cost. After being seen I was told something different. The money wasn't the issue and I tried to explain that, I just wanted a clear answer/understanding on the cost. The lady who takes the payments burst out in front of an office full "  well if you don't have the money you need to borrow it from a family member or somebody". At that moment my husband got very up set because that wasn't called for and was very unprofessional. I made him walk outside and I paid her in full. Like I stated to her before I left, money wasn't the issue but I had asked 3 different times while there what all my puppy needed. We won't be back, and I hate it because  my husband and myself really loved the doctor. Read Less

We had to take our 14 year old lab mix to be put down due to medical reasons so we didn't have to see him continue to suffer.  Once in the office, he was nervous and very hot due to the heat being very hot inside.  I asked the vet if we could do this outside under the circumstances.  We wanted him to be more at ease and more relaxed in a comforting atmosphere (60 degrees outside and sunny).  She said we don't do that.  So, they continued to give him a shot of a solution and only dispensed half of it in his vein before he flinched and the needle came out.  Then they struggled to find the vein again and poked around several times trying to locate it.  Meanwhile our dog was visibly terrified at what was going on.  They were using a bright pink liquid as only a one step process.  They had told us he would go peacefully, but that was the worst experience I had ever witnessed in my 40 years.  We had to see our beloved family member struggle through the process.  I'll never return to that place as long as she is working there.  Next time I'll go elsewhere and ask for a two shot solution with sedation first. There is no other vet that I have used that compares to Dr. Gentry. I have seen vets in GA, FL, CT, and VA. He has taken care of our Boxer and Doberman Pinscher over the past 10 years. He has done everything from surgeries to simple check ups. We have NEVER BEEN disappointed leaving here after a visit. He is always so helpful, kind, and fair when it comes to testing for things that only need to be done. Their prices are very reasonable. They have up to date equipment for treatment and care. The staff is super nice and treats your dog with respect and kindness. I can't imagine why anyone would have anything negative to say about this office. I will say this....if Dr. Gentry has a patient come in that is a TRUE emergency (hit by a car, not breathing, trauma wounds, uncontrollable seizures, etc) you will be assessed right away. I have had an appointment and an emergency came in and they were quickly taken back. I gladly waited and hoped the animal was ok. Being that I am a nurse, I get it. But most people don't know the definition of a true emergency. Just because your animal is "sick" and doing something out of its norm, doesn't constitute it being an emergency. The vet is able to see that just looking at your animal.I would HIGHLY recommend this clinic to anyone who is looking for an all around great vet to care for your animals! Dr. Gentry is a rare gem in the vet field that still enjoys his career, cares about his patients, and is fair on prices. Read Less

The receptionist was very rude the first visit but I thought maybe it was a bad day for her and let it go. They are all about the money not about the service they provide or your pet no companion for a puppy that had a broke leg. I ended up going to critter fixer and got amazing service and they were very caring the vet stayed until 6:30 (they closed at 5) helping me and others with there sick animals and there was no mention of an $100 after hours fee!!! The only reason I give this place ONE star is because the websites makes me.I HONESTLY have no words for the way my animal was treated by the doctor on schedule at the time. First let me say that I never leave reviews, no matter the service and I feel bad honestly for leaving this one, but being an animal owner, I wouldn't want anyone like this man to be held responsible for any life other than his own. So I mustMy BELOVED 3 year old Chihuahua is literally the best thing in my life outside of my son. They say a dog is a mans best friend, so I am sure that any pet owner will vouch that it would kill them if they lost them. Today, I faced the fear of losing one of my best friends. ANYWAYSI moved to Warner Robins, GA a few weeks ago from North Carolina, and with the excitement of the move Xena started to not feel well almost from the beginning. Naturally I thought that she was just adjusting and would feel better soon. Her nausea would come and go every few days, some days worse than others. However, today when she puked up yellow fluid 3 times, shaking uncontrollably even while being held and comforted, and worse of all having trouble breathing, I immediately called TOWN AND COUNTRY ANIMAL CLINIC IN WARNER ROBINS, GA and told them what was going on.Seeing that the nurse on the phone told me to bring her in immediately, I grabbed her and my phone ( I had taken videos of her actions that day ) and got there within 10 minutes. Now I am going to explain what happened and let you form your opinion from there. As a DISTRESSED pet owner of a dog that is clearly sick in some way and that being the reason the lady I spoke with on the phone told me to rush her in, I felt and still feel that I (or my dog, rather) was considered an emergency. And I say this knowing that I spoil my animal on every level more than any person in their right mind, however, seeing my dog in this state I was obviously in a million pieces upon arrival, and was told that I would be the LAST to be seen.At first, I reluctantly sat down with my shaking dog who was breathing ok at the moment. Staring at the sign that stated the order of which they would see animals, EMERGENCY was #1, however, my 4 pound shaking dog would be seen even after a dog that was there for a nail clipping.Let me say that I respect the time of others and would never "jump" in front of someone who had been there and waited before me, however, I am sure that any of the pet owners there would have given me their spot in a heartbeat. And I just know this because I was clearly in a state of emergency. My MAIN PROBLEM lies in the fact that this man, a veterinarian who has probably dealt with more patients in my sitaution than can be counted, stood there looking me in the face and put a nail trimming before my dogs life.I will humbly say that I apoligize for telling this man in front of other customers that he was an a$$, to go on with his NAIL TRIMMING and that I would take her to a vet that gave a damn.I wouldn't even let this man TRIM my dogs nails, to say the least. Thankfully, she is ok, TREATED by another vet, and resting. To some, I know, I sound petty maybe. In my opinion, I just played the mommy role today as I would with my child, because in the end, lets face it, she is my child. And sorry for the book of a review I left. Trust me, I wanted to say more. Read Less

Town and Country Animal Clinic is the best Vet I have ever worked with. When we first moved to town, I had a friend visiting me and her dog had an accident that required immediate veterinary care at 9pm at night. I contacted Town and Country after being told by other vets that they only had after hour services for current clients. I explained the situation and they told me to bring my friend's dog and treated her. The bill was less than half of what I expected and the vet was fantastic!! Since then I have taken all of my animals to them and they have always been caring and compassionate, as well as professional. They always discuss prices with me and give me an honest opinion about what should be done. (and it's not always the most expensive option). When we had to put our cat down unexpectedly, they were so sympathetic and it seemed like they were almost as upset as we were about losing our cat. They also sent a sympathy card to us with personal notes about our cat.  I recommend them to anyone looking for a vet! I will never take our animals anywhere else!! Read Less

Read Less
