Oconee Vet is absolutely the best! Dr. Bangle and Dr. Stortz are both terrific, and so is the entire staff. They always remember me and especially remember my dog. I've used them for both veterinary care as well as boarding and my dog actually gets excited if you ask him about going to the vet...that really probably says more than I ever could. Highly recommend

Well, since my family says I HAVE to go to the vet, I wouldn't pick any other place besides Oconee Veterinary Hospital. When we arrive I LOVE to sniff the bushes - they are full of good information about my furry friends. I like the way that Dr. Bangle and Dr. Stortz greet me with a smile and a give me a good petting each visit - they always know right where to scratch behind my ears! I get a little nervous at first once I'm back in the exam room, and I don't really like that metal exam table, but I forget about all that once one of my doctors starts talking to me. They distract me so well that I ALMOST don't notice when they take my temperature or draw my blood... that part is ruff, so that takes real skill! Before long, after a good exam, the table starts to lower and my adventure there for the year is almost over. The end is the best part. That's when I get my treat! You know, don't tell this to my family, but I think I actually LIKE going to the vet - it's a doggone good time! My family looks forward to receiving my report card each year following my visit, and they are pleased to have you as my vet. OVH is pawsitively great!

I've been taking my fur babies here for many years and I can't say enough good things about the staff!!! Yesterday my Cleo had to be put to sleep, Dr. Bangle , Danny ,Lara was just great!!! Cleo was 15 yrs old so they have been seeing him for 15 years!!! I held my baby in my arms til he crossed over the rainbow bridge , Dr.Bangle& Danny was awesome !!! Just want to thank ya'll soooo much!!!

We have had great service with Dr. Bangle and his staff. He takes the time to answer all of your questions, and seems to really care about your babies. He gives his opinion of what he would do, and doesn't belittle you if you want to forgo a specific procedure, as long as your pet's life isn't in danger. Lora at the front desk is always pleasant, friendly and very patient. We highly recommend Oconee Veterinary Hospital

I've been going to Dr. Bangle since 1996. I could not be more happy with his level of attentiveness and care. He is professional, knowledgable, and incredibly kind and gentle. Lora will forever be the greatest front desk manager. All other staff are wonderful.

For over 20 years, we have trusted Dr. Bangle and in addition more recently, Dr. Stortz, for our pets needs. They have both graciously helped us navigate the lives of seven pets from birth, to the death of two. They always exceeded our expectations. They and their staff are consistently compassionate and adept at determining what is best for the animal and the owner and providing those services quickly and efficiently. I've been taking my two dogs to Oconee Vet for almost two years and they are fantastic. We send them there for grooming, where we drop them off and pick them up after work. We also do all our check ups there. The best part is, they mail us reminders of when we need certain shots or when check ups are needed. The staff there know us and my dogs by name and I know they are in good hands. I recommend with the utmost enthusiasm!

On a coworkers recommendation we took our dog here as an emergency patient. Right from the moment we walked in Laura was so friendly and considerate. She kept us in the loop on what the visit would cost so we weren't surprised at the end. Dr.Stortz constantly updated us on the condition of our dog and what our options were moving forward. Both my boyfriend and myself were very emotional throughout our dog's visit and the staff was so understanding and sympathetic. I would recommend this office to anyone.

When my cat got hurt one night, they worked me into the schedule the next morning even though they were booked. Dr. Bangle is excellent and he gave me an honest assessment and the treatment options without pressuring me towards one. Highly recommend!

I took my new puppy there based on the reviews, and I was not disappointed. Everyone there is so nice and knowledgeable. The hospital was incredibly nice...I was out of town, and my puppy got bit by a spider late at night and her paw started up swell up. I called the hospital to see if they thought the situation was harmful enough for me to take her to the vet or a local vet hospital. They helped me that night and provided me with answers that calmed my worries and saved me a lot of money! Hands down, great vet!

Oconee Vet is absolutely the best! Dr. Bangle and Dr. Stortz are both terrific, and so is the entire staff. They always remember me and especially remember my dog. Well, since my family says I HAVE to go to the vet, I wouldn't pick any other place besides Oconee Veterinary Hospital. When we arrive I LOVE to sniff the bushes - they are full of good information about my furry friends.
