STAY AWAY! I went in today for a nail trim and heart worm medication, and it was an absolute terrible experience. I can't even begin how disgusted I was with this place and the staff, the exam room I was taken into smelled like the room was saturated in pee. Then I was greeted by a very young, inexperienced boy that immediately put my dog in a choke hold, my dog was barking and peeing all over himself while the other lady was trying to grab his paws and trim them. They were just so aggressive and not gentle at all. They also didn't give him one treat throughout the whole process. My dog was completely traumatized and I will never be going back. I feel bad for any dog or animal that is taken here, please rethink your vet if you are thinking about coming here. Read Less

They were great with my horse of a puppy and gave him plenty of time to calm down between them giving him his shots, they were great about us bringing pour whole family so that the kids could see their dogs doctor. It was a wonderful experience. Read Less

I cannot say enough good things about this vet and the people who work there. My family took our dogs to this vet when I was a teenager. When we had to to say goodbye to them, the experience was so calm and we were allowed to hold and snuggle them. Now, almost 2 decades later, I bring my animals (3 dogs and a cat). Everyone is always so nice, and always offer help loading and unloading if you need it. They never do unnecessary procedures and always try the simplest answer/test first. Most visits take 30-45 min. Even at their busiest, I've never been there longer than 1.5 hrs., and that was for 2 animals. I drive 30 min. one way to take my animals here and will continue to do so. Read Less

Stay away. You've been warned. They performed surgery on my dog to remove a cebacious cyst on his chest.  3 months laters the cyst reappeared - worse and infected.  I took him to a the Atlanta Veterinary Specialists in and they found that Crossroads had left stitching material in his chest when they sewed him up and that caused a very serious infection.They had to do  thoracic x rays among other tests...it ended up costing me thousands. Worst experience. Some little girl who calls herself a nurse ha ha had not clue what she was talking about then the bald head man I guess he's a Dr well he had the nerve to speak nasty about my cat and didn't think I heard him . I have been taking my animals here since we moved to Woodstock ten years ago.  They are always friendly, knowledgeable and reasonably priced compared to other vets in the area.  They've never pressured me to go one way or another on treatment just to get me to spend money.  They truly care about the animals and the owners.  We've had to let several pets go due to aging issue and we've never been made to feel bad about our decision and as they know a pet is a child to us and understand how difficult that decision is.  They make impressions of the paw as a keepsake.  I love the doctor's and staff here.  I've never had a bad experience. Started taking my 3 Westies to them a few years back. Vets seemed to give good care and the place was clean and accommodating. Prices seemed to be fair at first. Then, slowly they started to get a little higher each time I went (which was pretty often with 3 dogs). Finally, I looked back on some old billing records i had kept and noticed their charges had nearly doubled for many things they had previously done (procedures, shots, meds., etc) over a 3-4 year period. Having been to other vets in the area with different pets over the years, I am so happy and relieved to have found Crossroads. First, their office visit is $47 I believe, compared to nearly $150 at others nearby. Every visit, regardless of why we came, I feel we get much more than our money's worth! Their medicines, vaccines, treatments, services, etc. are always cheaper than other vets/pet stores/online. They're always upfront with me, they give great advice and their hours are great, too. I have a 10 month old Presa Canario (a giant breed) and we want her to have puppies once in her lifetime. I absolutely feel that I can place my trust in Crossroads when it comes to my baby. They are supportive and are guiding us every step of the way as far as when she should go into heat, what to do, when she should get fixed, what the risks are, any concerns, etc. Each vet we see at Crossroads is so great with her (she's a bit shy) and is actually knowledgeable about her breed. I never feel pressured to make appointments and I don't feel duped into spending money. They always give the best advice and are patient with my many questions, I never feel rushed. They have good answers for literally everything I ask and just seem to know their stuff and genuinely care about my pup. They can debunk any myth (saving me money) and tell me the truth about 'what I read online.' Now I take her for a visit just as a check-up whenever I feel like it. They see me the same day or the next day and I never wait more than 10 minutes for the vet to come in. They're thorough and I appreciate that. We have been taking our pets to Crossroads Veterinary Hospital for about 20 years. They have a truly wonderful practice. Everyone is always friendly and helpful on the phone and in person. They are professional and very good with my large dogs and my cats. They always find time to see my pets for urgent care and take wonderful care of my animals when they board. I tried Crossroads because a neighbor suggested Dr. Clark and said that they had reasonable prices. Dr. Clark was not available and I had to see Dr. Evans. Yikes! This man was not only rude, but lied to me about the care he gave my dog. I took my pup in for an ear problem and Dr. Evans was afraid to look in his ear but told me that he did and prescribed steroids. A few days later I called bc there was no improvement and Dr. Evans admitted very rudely to me that he had not even looked in my dogs ears! I would not recommend this clinic or at least not Dr. Evans. I was upset that he lied and gave my dog unnecessary steroids! Sometimes it's better to pay more to ensure proper care. I have been bringing my new dog here for about 9 months. I guess this may be my fault but I expected the professionals there to tell me what is needed for my dog such as booster shots and the like. He got a cough two weeks ago and I brought him in and while doing so they said he needed his updates and I said ok. However I learned today that they weren't given and until I ask for them they wouldn't be given. They make no proactive effort in telling you what needs to be done. When speaking to the lady on the phone she seemed annoyed that I would expect them to give guidance. She offered no solution, didn't offer a time I could get the shots updated but more seemed relieved that I wouldn't bother her any more as a client. I don't want to leave this vet and go find a new one. As a customer I would be much gap pereira staying, but I feel like I was ushered out. Where has customer service and professionalism gone? My First Dalmatian went to Crossroads for most of her life. The team was always wonderful and even tho my Dal was wary, she was always BEYOND thrilled to see everyone here. They are friendly.  Always really busy though so there is usually a wait. I can understand that. I was happy until I started realizing how they were nickle and diming me. We board our dog there also but now will be looking for somewhere new. They told me in August my dog was due for his exam when I bordered her. I said okay. Then I took her again this week and they said she needed her yearly exam again. When I said I paid for one in august they saod that didn't count because it was an exam to get the influenza shot... I was told differently! Looking back I realize they forced me to get many shots, procedures etc that are not required elsewhere to board (yes, I know influenza, rabies, bortatella etc are everywhere). We have been taking our 4 legged family to Dr. White for more than 25 years, even before she opened her Crossroads office.  Ten years ago, we moved about 30 miles away and tried multiple vets in our new area only to find they received better care at Crossroads.  So now, while it is more of a drive, we have peace of mind taking our animals to Crossroads Veterinary Hospital.  Wouldn't go anywhere else. I used Crossroads Veterinary Hospital for over 10 years. They were average. Doctor Evans handled my difficult cat when his tail was injured and needed surgery. Doctor Evans was the best veterinary I worked with in this practice. I decided to stop using this practice when I called them for assistance with placing a cat I was helping a friend re-home. I know this facility has had cats available for adoption through their practice in the past. I was appalled at the advise given to me by the front desk staff. I was advised to place adds on FaceBook and Craigslist. Pets and small animals advertised on FaceBook and Craigslist are targets for dog fighting rings who use small animals as bait. Very few people have the knowledge to recognize someone who is adopting an animal that will be used as bait. I was shocked that a veterinary practice that has been established as long as Crossroads would allow their staff to make such a recommendation. I have switched to a veterinary practice down the street (whose staff was appalled by the advice I was given by Crossroads.) Read Less

I love Drs. Clark and Evans.  After the ER misdiagnosed my sweet kitty and charged ridiculous amounts of money, Drs. Clark and Evans were able to properly assess problems (and they were many) and now she is home, well and happy again.  I was concerned that she may have to be put down since quality of life seemed iffy, but that was not the case.  They were very, very, very caring and professional.  I even had a call to find out how she was doing.  I wouldn't entrust my sweet kitty to any other doctor. I cant say enough about this Vet, they are warm and helpful every time we come to them for our pets. Soon after moving to Georgia this past summer my cat of 14 years took ill and we had to put her to sleep, I could imagine the pain it caused me....they were caring and even sent me a card from all of the staff with hand written notes inside, no one does this! Crossroads veterinary hospital is functional. The facility is clean and the staff seems competent, but they aren't exceptionally friendly. The wait time was average and I was able to accomplish everything for my pet's visit so that's a plus.However, the veterinarian was unprofessional in stating, "God didn't design cats to not have fur." This was a negative reference to my cat's breed (sphynx). I simply wanted eye drops and annual shots for my little girl. Instead, I was given a religious lecture by a person I was paying for their knowledge in medicine.I find it interesting that anyone who mutilates cats for a living by declawing them, ostensibly amputating the ends of their fingers & forcing them to learn how to walk again (albeit very painfully), could be so opinionated or morally condescending about anything related to cat care.I grew up in the area and would definitely prefer to keep my business local, but this long-lived fixture of Woodstock is one to avoid. Crossroads Veterinary Hospital is one of the best places for your pet. I have been using this location for years and even though I now live in Atlanta (for the past few years) I still drive up to Woodstock GA because I know that my Dalmatian will be well taken care of. When I board, I don't waste time with the places that promise playtime, etc. I KNOW my dog is given the love and treatment I expect. The staff is very friendly, knowledgable and helpful. I moved back to California last year and can't tell you how much I miss this clinic.  I love Dr. Clark- she is amazing.  I have a Himalayan who is very temperamental when it comes to vets.  But Dr. Clark was always patient, professional and unfazed.  She always listened to my concerns and gave me excellent advise.  The grooming here is also top notch.I was referred here by a former co-worker and I am so glad that I found them.  I wish they were here! :( Read Less
