Our family trusted this care provider to properly care for our furry family member.
What was peculiar was there approach from the get go. They immediately discontinued treatments for our dog that were longstanding and their reasoning being was we don’t do that, that’s not how we treat and he doesn’t need that. Needless to say symptoms came back severely. I can’t think of one thing that did not result in a side effect, adverse reaction or significant symptoms.
We just had the same experience. Their quality of care or lack there of was the impetus for us to search for service elsewhere. Once transferring care the new provider found health issues immediately that were described as having had to be existing for quite sometime. Very upsetting and concerning that what’s obvious to one provider was untreated and unaddressed at another.
SPREAD THE WORD. Don’t risk your animals health here.

Bedside manner of vet is non existent. I took our dog in and was told to do this and that had to happen and feed them this. Completely opposite of well known breeder and other vets. Dont do it man not worth the hassle.

My cat was not eating or drinking and looked dire. I took him to AH and they claimed they couldn't find anything wrong despite X-rays, tests, and all of their best diagnostic efforts. Told me he'll probably get over it and be OK, but they cant find anything wrong. Two days went by with no improvement and he was on the edge of death. So in desperation I took him back and pleaded with them to look again. This time they examined him and told me he needed immediate surgery,, but wouldn't say exactly why other than "we want to take a look inside". So they did the $1500 surgery, and claimed they still couldn't find anything wrong. BUT, suddenly, he was feeling much better and was able to drink and eat again. They never told me what they did, or what inspired them to recommend immediate surgery,, no answers whatsoever. So apparently $1500 belly-opening surgery was all that was needed to "shock" him back to heath.. Yea, I never believed that either.I cant prove they missed something on the first exam that they caught on the second exam. But they obviously were compelled by something discovered on the second exam that gave them cause to recommend immediate surgery, because I don't think they can ethically recommend putting a cat under anesthesia and cutting them open based on ZERO findings. Whatever that compelling evidence was they would not share it with me. Therefore I wont go back.

I am extremely pleased! This is the second vet I've been to on the island. My cat (1yr old) is having dental problems, and I took him here for a second opinion. This doctor seemed much more confident and knowledgable than the last, yet extremely warm and caring at the same time. I arrived for my 8am appointment and was IMMEDIATELY set up in a room -- no waiting at all! I didn't have all of my forms, but was able to easily email them the photos I had and they called his last vet for the rest of the documents and diagnosis. Very easy to find, staff is amazing from the front desk, to the vet tech, to the doc! We certainly will be going back!

They always try to work with you, if you can't quite afford a bill -- it's obvious that the health of pets is more important to them than making money, and I think that they probably don't do much more than break even. I recommend Animal House for anyone in Ewa Beach with a pet.

From the second we stepped into the waiting room, we were immediately met with amazing and kind receptionists who welcomed us to the clinic, as this visit was our first there. In less than five minutes, we were given a room to have privacy and let our pets out in. The nurse and the doctor were so kind and caring to our cats, something that we had not experienced at other veterinary centers. We were given a thorough examination as the check-up progressed, and our cats were treated very well. We had also previously requested a transfer of record from our old veterinarian, but it hadn't been processed. In turn, we didn't know which vaccines were needed. Our vet notified us that everything should be fine, but if, when the records were received, things weren't up to date, we would be given a free consultation. Our first experience at the Animal House Veterinary Center was exceptional, and we were very happy.

Aloha everyone!Last night was the hardest night of my life! We had to put down our baby that we had for 12 years! We took her to animal house clinic in ewa beach..We came with a large group which the staff didn't appear to mind, then omg the staff became moved and very accommodating.. When the dr came in to do the euthanasia she even looked a touched, she stayed with us while we prayed she was amazing... I recommend ANYONE no matter what district you live in, you gotta bring your pet to animal house!!Your pets(family members) are also their family members and they love them dearly!!! This is the most compassionate clinic I've ever step foot in.Today I went back and I asked if my dog was cremated? They said not yet and they put me in a private room and brought her to me just so I could love her up one more time..They explained she's been in the freezer and I didn't care I just wanted one quick moment with her! The tech that brought her to me was crying with me and hugging me.. she said this dog was very well loved because they never seen that many people at a euthanasia.. thank you animal house dr, techs and all staff members You Rock!!

I have always loved my experience taking my pets here, tonight though they truly went beyond what I could have ever imagined. My dog had just been attacked at the near by dog park, my husband rushed her over not knowing if they where open, they had just closed and thankfully where still there to open the door when my husband knocked, not hesitating to take a look at her and then taking her into surgery. Thankfully she is doing okay now but was very lucky! I know some people say they are pricey but you get what you pay for and the people her truly love animals and is worth it!

We just flew our German Shepherd over from the mainland and notice a couple days later that he had some kind of ear infection going on. Animal House got us in within 2 hours. We explained that our dog is very fearful of vets and they were very good with him. He lunged at them when they came in the office so Dr. Mullins said lets go walk outside with him so he gets out of the office environment and gets use to her. She took her time, gave him treats and ended being able to walk him on his leash without us. It is so nice to have a vet that understands the fear our dog has and is willing to do whatever it is to make him comfortable. The assistants and front desk girls were great too! We will recommend Animal House to everyone we meet!

I loved the actual doctor, she was nice and knowledgeable. We had to get shot and come back in 3-4 weeks to get the boosters for the shots which is fine, but to have to pay an office visit fee to just come get shots is absolutely absurd to me. We also have two pets that need this and we would be charged $48 PER pet for the office fee PLUS the cost of their boosters. Never in my life have I been to a vet that charges to come in to get a shot unless it was an appointment for more than that. Needless to say we will not be back.

We have taken our three dogs to Animal House several times, for treatments as well as boarding. We are extremely pleased with the friendliness of the staff and their obvious love for the animals under their care. One time when we came to retrieve our pets, one staff member said, jokingly, that we could not take one home with us because she had to stay there because all the staff loved her so much.The doctor there is wonderful, and even called us after we had blood work done to report that all the labs were normal. No Vet had ever done this for us before.
Prices seem very reasonable to us, and the overall good feeling that we get from our visits is priceless. We are lucky to have a place like Animal House only a few miles away.

We started bringing our puppy Redbull here to get all his vaccines done and I'm glad we did!! We purchased the puppy promo that was $500 and it covers everything, vaccines, deworming medication and his neutering, that's a deal!!! Dr. Mullins and the technicians are very knowledgeable and so caring and make you feel at home! If your looking for a place for your babies this is the place!! Absolutely wonderful staff. I came in without an appointment and they worked me in pretty quick. They took caution in case it was Parvo in my 7 week old puppy to protect the other animals without making me feel like a bad person. They gave her the treatment for what turned out to be a bad case of hookworms and she's doing great. The price was nowhere near what other vets would have charged and I got a free sample of great puppy food as well as some great advice for future care. These people were amazing. Thank you all so much!!

We found ourselves checking if she was even breathing !! Just about to turn 3 yr.- still puppy - how can this be? Well after seeing Dr. Lau / Staff and having blood tests - she was diagnosed with "hypothyroidism" !! Who would've thought ?! Well 1 month later with the right medications Brownie is her self again - chasing bubbles, playing ball, jumping, and all around "happy" !! Thank you Dr. Lau & Staff for giving us back our playful puppy !!

I attempted to bring an injured kitten in for urgent care today and was turned away, saying that they don't take care of "strays". I informed the receptionist that we were willing to pay for the cat's medical care, but for some reason they refused to even see the kitten. I have always been under the assumption that veterinarians care about the wellbeing of all animals, "stray" or not, but I guess I was mistaken. The second receptionist in the office was ruder than the one I was speaking with - as soon as I walked in the door she acted like I inconvenienced her by my presence, or was intruding on her lunch hour. We live only a few blocks from this clinic and because of that, I had recently considered switching from Waipahu Waikele Vet Hospital to Animal House, but after how I was treated today I would never so much as step foot in there again, nor recommend them to anyone on O'ahu. Too bad for them considering my dog has special needs and is on prescription food and daily medication. $$$ We will continue to spend our money at Waipahu Waikele.

I have to give this place 5 stars, from front desk to the techs to the vet this place is the go to spot for an emergency or routine appointments. Today I came in, nearly having a heart attack because my 10 year old dauchand was vomiting a lot of blood. They immediately took my Chloe back for triage and within a few short minutes she was receiving fluids and X-rays/ultrasound. We came away with a diagnosis of pancreatitis and hemorrhagic gastroenteritis (very scary and lots of bleeding) with a solid treatment plan. We will get her back in 3 days. I felt very taken care of here by all staff and would definitely trust them with all of my pets in the future. A++++++++

The doctors, nurses and entire staff at Animal House Veterinary Center are exceptional. Their customer service is excellent, from scheduling appointments, sending reminder notices and treating our puppy with love and care that she thrives for. She just loves the treats and attention that she receives from the staff. Our puppy was recently neutured and she healed up fine. You wouldn't even know that she was spade because the scar is very minimal to none at sight. Thank you for the outstanding service. See you soon.

I am really upset with Animal House!!! I have been going to them for my animals for 15 years since they've opened. They've been great up till now!My little silky terrier this past Friday was so excited to see us when we got home that she jumped off the chaise lounge and crashed into the patio table screwing up her front leg which she now holds up and can't put pressure on it. I thought given a few days she might work out a sprain if that is what it was. My other dogs used to have that happen to them. When we called this morning because her leg hasn't gotten any better and might be worse, they said they were all full up and if they wanted to get us in, we would have to pay $70 to sit and wait and MAYBE they could get us in!Is THAT how you treat a loyal customer?! I think NOT!!!So we made an appt with Waipahu Vet Center, the new state of the art clinic that I keep hearing about which gets rave reviews! And it only will cost us $50 fee to start. Then...but still! They made an effort and seemed concerned for our little one! If this appt goes well, sayonara Animal House! You just lost us as a customer! Your greed and lack of concern has really saddened me. What happened to the great business that I stuck with for 15 years? I guess time changes everything...

I was told about this place through a colleague who brings her 2 dogs here. I love that the Animal House Vet Clinic is close to home (less than 3 minutes away) which is convenient. I called one morning inquiring about an appt since my puppy was having worms in her poop. Being a worry wart I wanted a work up to make sure she and my other dog was okay. Luckily Mandy was really good about getting me an appt and taking my new patient info over the phone. My boyfriend brought the pups to their appt and thought the Vet was really helpful. We got their medications and my other doggy got his vaccinations. They vomited that night of the appt and I called them the following morning with my concerns. I spoke with Mandy again who tried to triage the issue and spoke with a Tech for clarification. She also answered my questions about getting the pups monthly heartworm and flea medication.The staff has great customer service! Thankful that the Standard Wellness Exam for new clients were affordable (I have never had to go to the Vet before). I hear visits can be pricey so I will come here when needed and for their yearly exams.

Pros:- Super friendly and helpful (and patient!) staff. I've been here twice now, and everyone from the front desk to the techs to the docs are all - Flexibility and patience with PITA patients. They let us wait in the car and call my cell when an exam room is available because my dog is a Grade A bundle of nerves. - Staff always double checks prescriptions in front of me, which is really reassuring. They also take time to explain everything rather than just dumping a bag of meds on us. - Location on the west side! We live Kapolei but prefer this Ewa vet to the ones we scoped out in Kapolei. This location is still close to home. Cons:- Hard to schedule last minute appointments, and the squeeze-ins cost you an extra $35 + extra wait time. That being said, they're good about finding time to squeeze us in. - Kinda pricey - Waiting room has like zero space and the exam rooms aren't very nice or very private, but that's whatever I guess. They're clean enough, just not very nice. Like weird paint splatters on the floor and super squishy/awkward benches to sit on, and you can hear everything in the room next door. Overall, I'm super pleased. I really can't say enough good things about the staff here -- they've all been wonderful. I think we found our regular vet on island.

Just sharing that I was SO happy with the way Animal House Veterinary Clinic took care of my dog Ipo after she was attacked. My husband and I felt taken advantage of by another animal hospital and decided to try Animal House. The veterinarian was genuinely caring, charged a reasonable amount, and made sure Ipo was healthy. I would recommend this clinic to anyone!

My review is about a year late.....this clinic is close to home and the staff was very friendly. When I first made an appointment for my pup, it was easy to schedule, sweet staff and clean facility. My dog experienced a uti most likely from the stress of flying from Chicago to Hawaii. The doc seemed knowledgable and they took great care of my pet, then the price came. To give them credit, they did give the prices up front but I feel like we were taken advantage of financially. I understand that they do have to take certain protocol when dealing with certain issues. They did a few procedures and ended up giving her an antibiotic. It helped for about a month and then the UTI came back. I called the vet and asked if it were possible to give my pup an extended dose of the antibiotic, they told me that the Dr said no and that she would have to come in for an X-ray...mind you, she already had an ultra sound done and my vet back home plus our new vet said that the ultra sound shows more than an X-ray. Our dog was acting completely normal, non irritable, no loss of appetite, still wanted to play. We decided to take her to a different vet.Our experience there was great! They did another ultra sound with us in the room and pin pointed the problem. They gave her the same antibiotic but extended it for three weeks instead of two. She has been fine with no problems. I'm really not one to give negative reviews, but I wish they would have given us more options than to come back and spend way more money than we already had spent for a UTI.

Dr. Lau is my veterinarian by choice! She and I worked side by side trying to keep my Pipikane out of trouble. Yolanda is my favorite technician cause she really cares and spoils me and my dog(s). Pipikane has crossed the rainbow bridge and we now have Anela. She is our happy go lucky dog and hopefully will not have some of the problems I had with Pipikane. The staff at Animal House are truly wonderful and caring crew. It is so nice that Ewa Beach finally got a veterinary center.

We decided to take our Boston Terrier, Abbey, to get checked out. We were first greeted by the receptionist, Tanya, who was really friendly. We checked in and she got us into the room right away. The clinic seemed busy that day, but the vet tech walked in after a few minutes. Callie was very knowledgable and professional. She provided all the information we needed and told us what to expect prior to the Vet, Dr. Mullins, seeing us. When Dr. Mullins came in to see us, she handled Abbey very well. She answered all of our questions and gave us great advice. BEFORE any procedures were done, we were given an estimate and breakdown of costs! We were told that any medications or supplements that were recommended were available at the clinic and at retail stores. We were even given a small sample of one of the supplements to try for free. After our visit, we were confident that we have chosen the right place for Abbey. We will definitely be bringing Abbey back because of the friendly, profeasional, and extremely knowledgeable staff!

I had high hopes for this place when I called ahead, spoke to a very knowledgeable and helpful receptionist - we went over pricing, shots, timing for my three labs (if you can imagine three dogs being brought into a vet at one time can be quite daunting). My husband and I come in expecting to pay right around $350 - this is including discounted doctor visit fee for multiple pets, and several shots for each to get them up to date - and we were highly disappointed. We were told by the vet's assistant that we were misinformed and that the pricing would be different. We ended up spending $850 on the three dogs to get them up to date on their vaccinations, this even included me telling the vet that one of the dogs didn't need a shot that she was current on and that they didn't pay close enough attention to her records.Bottom line - I would recommend anyone to keep on looking if they think this is the place for them. I will never come here again.

My family and I began bringing my dogs here for frequent check-ups several years ago once they set up shop nearby where we live. Every time we bring our dogs in the staff is always so upbeat and happy to see us! I think having great energy around your pets will always make your vet visits a positive one, and that's what we always get when we come here. Don't expect to have the same Veterinarian every visit though. We have had a different doctor every time. Luckily almost all of the ones we've gotten were very nice, gentle, and helpful to us. The vet assistants do very good work assisting during the check ups as well (I have Rottweilers so they aren't always the easiest to control). I find the workers here, rather than some other vets, to be real animal lovers that give every pet that comes through the door the same love and care as if it were their own. They always make my dogs feel as comfortable as they possibly can. The staff also makes getting medicine, payment, and scheduling very easy as well. And on top of all this another plus about this place is that if you check in here you'll get $5 your vet visit! Don't forget!

Honestly, I'm thankful to say I've never had a bad experience here. I really like all the girls at the front, they're always helpful and get their job done. The facility is a bit older and could definitely use some sprucing up. I would say some fresh paint and a deep cleaning could do some serious good. The front also looks cluttered. Anyways, the services provided here are all you could need for your pet(s). I had a puppy go through the entire puppy package (shots and neuter) for under $500. Not a bad deal for a new born! Also, the doctors are just OK. Their personalities anyways...one of the doctors just doesn't pay attention to the sex of your animal(s). She doesn't really have a good memory or she must not take good notes or she can't read well because she always calls dogs "she" even if they're a "he." It's right there on your paperwork...That is all.

Our family trusted this care provider to properly care for our furry family member.
What was peculiar was there approach from the get go. They immediately discontinued treatments for our dog that were longstanding and their reasoning being was we don’t do that, that’s not how we treat and he doesn’t need that. Needless to say symptoms came back severely. I can’t think of one thing that did not result in a side effect, adverse reaction or significant symptoms.
We just had the same experience. Their quality of care or lack there of was the impetus for us to search for service elsewhere. Once transferring care the new provider found health issues immediately that were described as having had to be existing for quite sometime. Very upsetting and concerning that what’s obvious to one provider was untreated and unaddressed at another.
SPREAD THE WORD. Don’t risk your animals health here.

Bedside manner of vet is non existent. I took our dog in and was told to do this and that had to happen and feed them this. Completely opposite of well known breeder and other vets. Dont do it man not worth the hassle.

My cat was not eating or drinking and looked dire. I took him to AH and they claimed they couldn't find anything wrong despite X-rays, tests, and all of their best diagnostic efforts. Told me he'll probably get over it and be OK, but they cant find anything wrong. Two days went by with no improvement and he was on the edge of death. So in desperation I took him back and pleaded with them to look again. This time they examined him and told me he needed immediate surgery,, but wouldn't say exactly why other than "we want to take a look inside". So they did the $1500 surgery, and claimed they still couldn't find anything wrong. BUT, suddenly, he was feeling much better and was able to drink and eat again. They never told me what they did, or what inspired them to recommend immediate surgery,, no answers whatsoever. So apparently $1500 belly-opening surgery was all that was needed to "shock" him back to heath.. Yea, I never believed that either.I cant prove they missed something on the first exam that they caught on the second exam. But they obviously were compelled by something discovered on the second exam that gave them cause to recommend immediate surgery, because I don't think they can ethically recommend putting a cat under anesthesia and cutting them open based on ZERO findings. Whatever that compelling evidence was they would not share it with me. Therefore I wont go back.

I am extremely pleased! This is the second vet I've been to on the island. My cat (1yr old) is having dental problems, and I took him here for a second opinion. This doctor seemed much more confident and knowledgable than the last, yet extremely warm and caring at the same time. I arrived for my 8am appointment and was IMMEDIATELY set up in a room -- no waiting at all! I didn't have all of my forms, but was able to easily email them the photos I had and they called his last vet for the rest of the documents and diagnosis. Very easy to find, staff is amazing from the front desk, to the vet tech, to the doc! We certainly will be going back!

They always try to work with you, if you can't quite afford a bill -- it's obvious that the health of pets is more important to them than making money, and I think that they probably don't do much more than break even. From the second we stepped into the waiting room, we were immediately met with amazing and kind receptionists who welcomed us to the clinic, as this visit was our first there. In less than five minutes, we were given a room to have privacy and let our pets out in. The nurse and the doctor were so kind and caring to our cats, something that we had not experienced at other veterinary centers. We were given a thorough examination as the check-up progressed, and our cats were treated very well. We had also previously requested a transfer of record from our old veterinarian, but it hadn't been processed. In turn, we didn't know which vaccines were needed. Our vet notified us that everything should be fine, but if, when the records were received, things weren't up to date, we would be given a free consultation. Our first experience at the Animal House Veterinary Center was exceptional, and we were very happy.

Aloha everyone!Last night was the hardest night of my life! We had to put down our baby that we had for 12 years! We took her to animal house clinic in ewa beach..We came with a large group which the staff didn't appear to mind, then omg the staff became moved and very accommodating.. When the dr came in to do the euthanasia she even looked a touched, she stayed with us while we prayed she was amazing... I recommend ANYONE no matter what district you live in, you gotta bring your pet to animal house!!Your pets(family members) are also their family members and they love them dearly!!! This is the most compassionate clinic I've ever step foot in.Today I went back and I asked if my dog was cremated? They said not yet and they put me in a private room and brought her to me just so I could love her up one more time..They explained she's been in the freezer and I didn't care I just wanted one quick moment with her! The tech that brought her to me was crying with me and hugging me.. she said this dog was very well loved because they never seen that many people at a euthanasia.. thank you animal house dr, techs and all staff members You Rock!!

I have always loved my experience taking my pets here, tonight though they truly went beyond what I could have ever imagined. My dog had just been attacked at the near by dog park, my husband rushed her over not knowing if they where open, they had just closed and thankfully where still there to open the door when my husband knocked, not hesitating to take a look at her and then taking her into surgery. Thankfully she is doing okay now but was very lucky! I know some people say they are pricey but you get what you pay for and the people her truly love animals and is worth it!

We just flew our German Shepherd over from the mainland and notice a couple days later that he had some kind of ear infection going on. Animal House got us in within 2 hours. We explained that our dog is very fearful of vets and they were very good with him. He lunged at them when they came in the office so Dr. Mullins said lets go walk outside with him so he gets out of the office environment and gets use to her. She took her time, gave him treats and ended being able to walk him on his leash without us. It is so nice to have a vet that understands the fear our dog has and is willing to do whatever it is to make him comfortable. The assistants and front desk girls were great too! We will recommend Animal House to everyone we meet!

I loved the actual doctor, she was nice and knowledgeable. We had to get shot and come back in 3-4 weeks to get the boosters for the shots which is fine, but to have to pay an office visit fee to just come get shots is absolutely absurd to me. We also have two pets that need this and we would be charged $48 PER pet for the office fee PLUS the cost of their boosters. Never in my life have I been to a vet that charges to come in to get a shot unless it was an appointment for more than that. Needless to say we will not be back.

Absolutely amazing staff. They were super friendly and helpful. Being military they suggested I went to a military clinic to help keep costs low and didn't charge me a dime for the consultation. They are not over priced for the island especially if you want a vet you can trust that will work with you and give you the information you need for your pet.

We have taken our three dogs to Animal House several times, for treatments as well as boarding. We are extremely pleased with the friendliness of the staff and their obvious love for the animals under their care. One time when we came to retrieve our pets, one staff member said, jokingly, that we could not take one home with us because she had to stay there because all the staff loved her so much.The doctor there is wonderful, and even called us after we had blood work done to report that all the labs were normal. No Vet had ever done this for us before.
Prices seem very reasonable to us, and the overall good feeling that we get from our visits is priceless. We are lucky to have a place like Animal House only a few miles away.

We purchased the puppy promo that was $500 and it covers everything, vaccines, deworming medication and his neutering, that's a deal!!! Dr. Mullins and the technicians are very knowledgeable and so caring and make you feel at home! If your looking for a place for your babies this is the place!! Absolutely wonderful staff. I came in without an appointment and they worked me in pretty quick. They took caution in case it was Parvo in my 7 week old puppy to protect the other animals without making me feel like a bad person. They gave her the treatment for what turned out to be a bad case of hookworms and she's doing great. The price was nowhere near what other vets would have charged and I got a free sample of great puppy food as well as some great advice for future care. These people were amazing. Thank you all so much!!

We brought our 2.10 yr old Brownie, Dobie/Rott mix, in because she just didn't seem right. Very overweight, always sleeping and just all around "dull". We found ourselves checking if she was even breathing !! Just about to turn 3 yr.- still puppy - how can this be? Well after seeing Dr. Lau / Staff and having blood tests - she was diagnosed with "hypothyroidism" !! Who would've thought ?! Well 1 month later with the right medications Brownie is her self again - chasing bubbles, playing ball, jumping, and all around "happy" !! Thank you Dr. Lau & Staff for giving us back our playful puppy !!

I attempted to bring an injured kitten in for urgent care today and was turned away, saying that they don't take care of "strays". I informed the receptionist that we were willing to pay for the cat's medical care, but for some reason they refused to even see the kitten. I have always been under the assumption that veterinarians care about the wellbeing of all animals, "stray" or not, but I guess I was mistaken. The second receptionist in the office was ruder than the one I was speaking with - as soon as I walked in the door she acted like I inconvenienced her by my presence, or was intruding on her lunch hour. We live only a few blocks from this clinic and because of that, I had recently considered switching from Waipahu Waikele Vet Hospital to Animal House, but after how I was treated today I would never so much as step foot in there again, nor recommend them to anyone on O'ahu. Too bad for them considering my dog has special needs and is on prescription food and daily medication. $$$ We will continue to spend our money at Waipahu Waikele.

I have to give this place 5 stars, from front desk to the techs to the vet this place is the go to spot for an emergency or routine appointments. Today I came in, nearly having a heart attack because my 10 year old dauchand was vomiting a lot of blood. They immediately took my Chloe back for triage and within a few short minutes she was receiving fluids and X-rays/ultrasound. We came away with a diagnosis of pancreatitis and hemorrhagic gastroenteritis (very scary and lots of bleeding) with a solid treatment plan. We will get her back in 3 days. I felt very taken care of here by all staff and would definitely trust them with all of my pets in the future. A++++++++

The doctors, nurses and entire staff at Animal House Veterinary Center are exceptional. Their customer service is excellent, from scheduling appointments, sending reminder notices and treating our puppy with love and care that she thrives for. She just loves the treats and attention that she receives from the staff. Our puppy was recently neutured and she healed up fine. You wouldn't even know that she was spade because the scar is very minimal to none at sight. Thank you for the outstanding service. See you soon.

They've been great up till now!My little silky terrier this past Friday was so excited to see us when we got home that she jumped off the chaise lounge and crashed into the patio table screwing up her front leg which she now holds up and can't put pressure on it. I thought given a few days she might work out a sprain if that is what it was. My other dogs used to have that happen to them. When we called this morning because her leg hasn't gotten any better and might be worse, they said they were all full up and if they wanted to get us in, we would have to pay $70 to sit and wait and MAYBE they could get us in!Is THAT how you treat a loyal customer?! I think NOT!!!So we made an appt with Waipahu Vet Center, the new state of the art clinic that I keep hearing about which gets rave reviews! And it only will cost us $50 fee to start. Then...but still! They made an effort and seemed concerned for our little one! If this appt goes well, sayonara Animal House! You just lost us as a customer! Your greed and lack of concern has really saddened me. What happened to the great business that I stuck with for 15 years? I guess time changes everything...

I was told about this place through a colleague who brings her 2 dogs here. I love that the Animal House Vet Clinic is close to home (less than 3 minutes away) which is convenient. I called one morning inquiring about an appt since my puppy was having worms in her poop. Being a worry wart I wanted a work up to make sure she and my other dog was okay. Luckily Mandy was really good about getting me an appt and taking my new patient info over the phone. My boyfriend brought the pups to their appt and thought the Vet was really helpful. We got their medications and my other doggy got his vaccinations. They vomited that night of the appt and I called them the following morning with my concerns. I spoke with Mandy again who tried to triage the issue and spoke with a Tech for clarification. She also answered my questions about getting the pups monthly heartworm and flea medication.The staff has great customer service! Thankful that the Standard Wellness Exam for new clients were affordable (I have never had to go to the Vet before). I hear visits can be pricey so I will come here when needed and for their yearly exams.

Pros:- Super friendly and helpful (and patient!) staff. I've been here twice now, and everyone from the front desk to the techs to the docs are all - Flexibility and patience with PITA patients. They let us wait in the car and call my cell when an exam room is available because my dog is a Grade A bundle of nerves. - Staff always double checks prescriptions in front of me, which is really reassuring. They also take time to explain everything rather than just dumping a bag of meds on us. - Location on the west side! We live Kapolei but prefer this Ewa vet to the ones we scoped out in Kapolei. This location is still close to home. Cons:- Hard to schedule last minute appointments, and the squeeze-ins cost you an extra $35 + extra wait time. That being said, they're good about finding time to squeeze us in. - Kinda pricey - Waiting room has like zero space and the exam rooms aren't very nice or very private, but that's whatever I guess. They're clean enough, just not very nice. Like weird paint splatters on the floor and super squishy/awkward benches to sit on, and you can hear everything in the room next door. Overall, I'm super pleased. I really can't say enough good things about the staff here -- they've all been wonderful. I think we found our regular vet on island.

My husband and I felt taken advantage of by another animal hospital and decided to try Animal House. The veterinarian was genuinely caring, charged a reasonable amount, and made sure Ipo was healthy. I would recommend this clinic to anyone!

My review is about a year late.....this clinic is close to home and the staff was very friendly. When I first made an appointment for my pup, it was easy to schedule, sweet staff and clean facility. My dog experienced a uti most likely from the stress of flying from Chicago to Hawaii. The doc seemed knowledgable and they took great care of my pet, then the price came. To give them credit, they did give the prices up front but I feel like we were taken advantage of financially. I understand that they do have to take certain protocol when dealing with certain issues. They did a few procedures and ended up giving her an antibiotic. It helped for about a month and then the UTI came back. I called the vet and asked if it were possible to give my pup an extended dose of the antibiotic, they told me that the Dr said no and that she would have to come in for an X-ray...mind you, she already had an ultra sound done and my vet back home plus our new vet said that the ultra sound shows more than an X-ray. Our dog was acting completely normal, non irritable, no loss of appetite, still wanted to play. We decided to take her to a different vet.Our experience there was great! They did another ultra sound with us in the room and pin pointed the problem. They gave her the same antibiotic but extended it for three weeks instead of two. She has been fine with no problems. I'm really not one to give negative reviews, but I wish they would have given us more options than to come back and spend way more money than we already had spent for a UTI.

Dr. Lau is my veterinarian by choice! She and I worked side by side trying to keep my Pipikane out of trouble. Yolanda is my favorite technician cause she really cares and spoils me and my dog(s). Pipikane has crossed the rainbow bridge and we now have Anela. She is our happy go lucky dog and hopefully will not have some of the problems I had with Pipikane. The staff at Animal House are truly wonderful and caring crew. It is so nice that Ewa Beach finally got a veterinary center.

We decided to take our Boston Terrier, Abbey, to get checked out. We were first greeted by the receptionist, Tanya, who was really friendly. We checked in and she got us into the room right away. The clinic seemed busy that day, but the vet tech walked in after a few minutes. Callie was very knowledgable and professional. She provided all the information we needed and told us what to expect prior to the Vet, Dr. Mullins, seeing us. When Dr. Mullins came in to see us, she handled Abbey very well. She answered all of our questions and gave us great advice. BEFORE any procedures were done, we were given an estimate and breakdown of costs! We were told that any medications or supplements that were recommended were available at the clinic and at retail stores. We were even given a small sample of one of the supplements to try for free. After our visit, we were confident that we have chosen the right place for Abbey. We will definitely be bringing Abbey back because of the friendly, profeasional, and extremely knowledgeable staff!

I had high hopes for this place when I called ahead, spoke to a very knowledgeable and helpful receptionist - we went over pricing, shots, timing for my three labs (if you can imagine three dogs being brought into a vet at one time can be quite daunting). My husband and I come in expecting to pay right around $350 - this is including discounted doctor visit fee for multiple pets, and several shots for each to get them up to date - and we were highly disappointed. We were told by the vet's assistant that we were misinformed and that the pricing would be different. We ended up spending $850 on the three dogs to get them up to date on their vaccinations, this even included me telling the vet that one of the dogs didn't need a shot that she was current on and that they didn't pay close enough attention to her records.Bottom line - I would recommend anyone to keep on looking if they think this is the place for them. I will never come here again.

My family and I began bringing my dogs here for frequent check-ups several years ago once they set up shop nearby where we live. Every time we bring our dogs in the staff is always so upbeat and happy to see us! I think having great energy around your pets will always make your vet visits a positive one, and that's what we always get when we come here. Don't expect to have the same Veterinarian every visit though. We have had a different doctor every time. Luckily almost all of the ones we've gotten were very nice, gentle, and helpful to us. The vet assistants do very good work assisting during the check ups as well (I have Rottweilers so they aren't always the easiest to control). I find the workers here, rather than some other vets, to be real animal lovers that give every pet that comes through the door the same love and care as if it were their own. They always make my dogs feel as comfortable as they possibly can. The staff also makes getting medicine, payment, and scheduling very easy as well. And on top of all this another plus about this place is that if you check in here you'll get $5 your vet visit! Don't forget!

Honestly, I'm thankful to say I've never had a bad experience here. I really like all the girls at the front, they're always helpful and get their job done. The facility is a bit older and could definitely use some sprucing up. I would say some fresh paint and a deep cleaning could do some serious good. The front also looks cluttered. Anyways, the services provided here are all you could need for your pet(s). I had a puppy go through the entire puppy package (shots and neuter) for under $500. Not a bad deal for a new born! Also, the doctors are just OK. Their personalities anyways...one of the doctors just doesn't pay attention to the sex of your animal(s). She doesn't really have a good memory or she must not take good notes or she can't read well because she always calls dogs "she" even if they're a "he." It's right there on your paperwork...That is all.
