The Honolulu Pet Clinic is a full-service, small animal veterinary hospital, strives to offer not only sound advice, but also optimal veterinary care, thus allowing you the enjoyment of your companion for a maximum number of years. Our job is not only to treat your pet when he or she isn’t feeling well, but also to help you learn how to keep your best friend happy and healthy.
We provide a broad spectrum of diagnostic procedures through in-house testing and the use of external laboratories. We also work closely with local practices when special diagnostic procedures are required. The facility includes a well-stocked pharmacy, in-hospital surgery suite, in-house x-ray capabilities, a closely supervised hospitalization area, and indoor boarding kennels with outdoor walking areas.

There aren’t enough good things to say about this business. The staff is unbelievably friendly, compassionate and professional. The veterinarian is probably the smartest person I have ever been around in my entire life. I appreciated how above and beyond he went to explain my dog’s unique condition and our options. He was respectful but very honest.
One thing I really appreciated was him asking us what our personal view of “reasonable“ is. One person may feel it’s reasonable to spend $10,000 keeping a geriatric pet alive – while another would just want pain medication and to go on home. He met us in the middle with a great option and stayed far after hours on a Sunday evening to preform a surgery that took hours. Who does this? Who else has this type of dedication? Unbelievable.
We are so grateful and relieved that we chose this place above any other. Even if our dog doesn’t make a full recovery, this was worth it and our best hope.

Today was our first experience there; everyone from the receptionist, to the vet tech Tess to Dr. Hsu was completely amazing. So kind, friendly, patient and professional. This is the first time my little Pomeranian has been in a good mood after getting a shot. (And not just because we went to the Petco across the street afterwards). He wasn't anxious or stressed at all and went right back to his usual midmorning routine. Much Mahalo!

I recently moved off island and I miss them all so much. They really set the expectation high for all other vet clinics. <3

You won't find a better vet than Dr. Ed Hsu! He saved my dog's life when he had cancer in his spleen. He has a heart of gold and the pets of Honolulu are very lucky to have him.

Absolute waste of time and money!!! I brought my cat in there for a UTI. My cat had been treated before by another clinic for a UTI but this one was closer and heard it was more affordable. This time I knew the signs and just needed medicine since it wasn't as bad yet as before since my cat was still urinating thank goodness plus I have been feeding him medicated food and before I hadn't. The nurse was coughing all over the place while she was asking me questions and the hippie looking doctor came in to fill out same info on his old computer. He barely listened to my answers. When I mentioned that my cat has been upset ever since my dad died, the doctor didn't care. I asked for the prescription and they said they needed to a urine sample to send to lab which would take two weeks to get back the results. So I would have to pay for another visit and wait two weeks. They don't care about your pets at all. They showed me that by denying to help a week ago when I brought him in. They just want your money.

Best veterinary clinic I've been too thus far, Charlie has been going here for two years now. The staff is warm & welcoming and very friendly! Always willing to answer any questions or concerns, the nurse's are great with my fur-baby and treat him as though he's their own. Dr. Kondo is AMAZING! I think everyone should give this place a shot if you're looking for a new vet! :)

This is the best place with the best crew ever. This will always be my favorite place/people that I have ever work with or will ever work for. Even though I wasn't there very long due to my move off the island, everyone made me feel welcome and part of a family. There aren’t enough good things to say about this business. The staff is unbelievably friendly, compassionate and professional. The veterinarian is probably the smartest person I have ever been around in my entire life. I appreciated how above and beyond he went to explain my dog’s unique condition and our options. He was respectful but very honest.

Been coming here with my pets for over 15 years. Even though cost is a little higher I wouldn't trust anyone else with my pets!

Patty, Mia, Karine, Nick helped us. they were awesome! This was the best experience I have had in Hawaii at a vet and will tel my friends. The doctor was awesome. Caring like my childrens pediatrician...

Very friendly. Great care for my ""child"" and myself. inviting atmosphere. I know that Kolyen is in loving hands when left with the staff.
