We love Dr. Scott and his staff at The Pet Clinic. He takes care of our two dogs as if they were his own. He has seen them through a number of serious health issues - pancreatitis, bladder stones and surgery, allergies and skin problems. And despite the discomfort and trauma of having surgery and being hospitalized, our Max still runs to greet Dr. Scott whenever he sees him because he knows Dr. Scott loves him. I never really write reviews but I absolutely love The Pet Clinic! I have two puppies I have taken here for a handful of appointments now and every experience has been positive. The staff are all very patient and friendly. I had dogs previously that I used to take to VCA hospitals and the level of attentiveness and sensitivity is much higher at The Pet Clinic (VCA is a large chain to their credit). Whenever we walk into the Pet Clinic they already recognize my puppy Olly and greet us right away. The nurses/assistants that take Olly's vitals/measurements are all very gentle and caring, even to my more aggressive puppy Bailey. Dr. Harada always greets Olly and gives him a treat before proceeding with the exam. He is very thorough in explaining to us what we need to look out for with toad poisoning, how to properly care for his teeth, etc. I even called one time freaking out because Olly picked up a dead toad and they told me what symptoms to look out for and how to provide immediate care. At the next appointment Dr. Harada followed up with more information on toad poisoning and other various hazards to be aware of. I've been coming here for years, the staff is friendly, there's always parking, and Dr. Scott is a terrific vet.  I was saddened to hear of Dr. Craig's retirement, since we had been seeing him for years for a variety of pets.  There's another vet in town with a similar-sounding name, I've been to both and in my experience this one is superior.  No one likes it when their pet is sick, but I always felt that Pet Clinic was a little more compassionate. Wouldn't trust anyone else with Archie except Dr. Scott and his excellent staff!  Dr. Scott has cared for Archie since he was a pup, and being a English Bulldog he has had his fair share of health challenges in his first year.  Dr. Scott was amazing and got him through it all.  Always calling to check and see how he was doing and making sure "we" were ok. Dr Craig and Dr Scott Harada has taken care of my cat Izzy since 2002. They have done a incredible job in keeping him healthy through the years. At his elderly age of 16 years he developed Kidney disease. My Izzy hung in there. We all tried to keep him going but Izzy said goodbye to us on 12/13/16. I just wanted again, to Thank Dr Scott and Dr Craig for all their caring and hard work..And all the girls in your staff is definitely a huge part in this. Thank you too girls. I took my rabbit who was having really bad eye problems to this place & although the staff were friendly I felt like they didn't really know how to handle a rabbit. By the time the dr took me in my rabbit wasn't restrained properly & immediately got scared and jumped off the table which is really dangerous for them because it could break their spine, after putting her back on the table the vet assistant didn't even want to restrain her because she freaked out. She ended up cutting her lip from that jump. Not only did I have to pay for her eye medication but also her lip medication which costed about $225. They told me she was just having eye problems 1 week later I researched why the medication wasn't working turns out it was nothing to do with her eye! Her teeth were growing funny which blocked her tear duct causing her eye to leak and losing hair around that eye. Read Less

Dr. Scott Harada is the BEST! You will not be able to find a doctor of his caliber here in Hawaii. We have been to many veterinarians but Dr. Scott's skill and expertise surpasses all of them. He is very highly regarded by his peers in the veterinarian community because he is so good at what he does. He is extremely smart and knowledgeable, caring, compassionate, and loves all furry friends, even the feisty ones. :) He cares for them like his own children and looks at them with such loving eyes and always with a big smile.Dr. Scott was able to accurately diagnose and treat our very ill dog's unusual and serious medical condition. My husband and I switched to this veterinarian from a place we didn't care for. We are so happy we came to The Pet Clinic. They staff is very welcoming and Dr. Craig Harada is great with our dog. They have birds that hang out in their cages in the lobby area while you wait for them to call you in. They're pretty fun to watch.A big thing for me when looking for a vet, is the cleanliness of the clinic and if the vet hears what we have to say. This place checked off two of my major concerns. My husband and I both have jobs in healthcare and aren't too fond of using antibiotics on a regular basis like the other vet we had for our dog. Dr. Harada was great at listening to our concerns and also took a good approach at helping our dog get better from a short case of a stomach bug. We were able to fix her issues without the use of antibiotics.Dr. Harada also gave me information about how to introduce our dog to our soon to be daughter. He's very compassionate about his job and it truly shows in the way he interacts with us and our dog. We recommend this clinic to anyone looking for a vet or a change from their current vet. Dr Scott Harada seen my parrot. Never again! Took my baby into other room to run test. Never got got test results back in writing, he would just tell me. He was not even looking at my parrot's chart. My dog Denver has been seeing Doctor Craig for a long time every since she was 8 weeks old, she going to be 10 years old in December. Don't trust any one with her, been fighting this problem with yeast infection. I am hoping to fight this and we can find an answer to cure this, ointments wasn't help her, The receptionist there are so friendly and sweet though and so helpful. hopefully will see Dr..Craig again when I financially stable to bring Denver in. Dr. Scott Harada at The Pet Clinic is such a wonderful veterinarian. He is a compassionate, knowledgeable and caring doctor. I can tell that he really cares for and likes his patients and cares about his patients owners too. I've met a lot of his patients owners both inside and outside of his office and they too all have many high praises for him. There also always seems to be several cutie geriatric patients in the waiting room and they absolutely love all of the extra attention they receive from his awesome staff.My dog Jeffrey does not like to be touched by anyone due to a rough start in life but he really likes Dr. Scott and all of his staff. All of them can handle him with no fuss at all. I'm sure that he knows they will take great care of him and we both trust them fully. It's a wonderful feeling to have, knowing that my best friend is under the best care possible.The office  has a very relaxing, gentle feel to it. My "kid"- MAKANA got sick last week as I thought he had injured his leg while my dad took him to the park to play fetch. Upon coming home, and I was about to feed him, he kept on licking his rear left leg. When I tried to see what was up, he kept avoiding me, and wouldn't let me touch his rear left leg. From there, I'd knew something was wrong..........who do you call for help? Dr. Scott Harada of THE PET CLINIC! :)Dr. Scott is my GOD, as he cared for my previous Golden Retriever - GOLDIE. She lived to a ripe old age of 14, before she crossed the Rainbow Bridge. When Goldie was around 7 or 8, she had gotten real sick & needed a major operation. If it was not for Dr. Scott, I would have lost Goldie at an early age, but due to Dr. Scott's knowledge, skills, & compassion he was able to bring Goldie back to us. When it was Goldie's time.........Dr. Scott also helped her cross through the Rainbow Bridge.As for Makana, he is on this way to a quick recovery! Dr. Scott diagnosed him quickly & accurately. Gave him a shot, and the proper meds. to assist Makana in recovering from his infection (no he did not break his leg). Just got a new puppy from Craig's List and called around (as well as checked online) for Vets. My girlfriend and I decided to go the Pet Clinic for my puppies second round of shots. When we got there, it was really busy but the staff was very friendly and took care of us. We saw Dr. Craig Harada. He was friendly, thorough and explained things to us as he examined our puppy . He even apologized for being so busy. We felt very comfortable. The other Vet (down the street) that gave my puppy his first shots a couple of weeks earlier only talked about money and didnt seem to really care. We have been taking our family dog to The Pet Clinic for some time now. Dr. Craig Harada has always been our Vet and has never disappointed us. As a Physician I appreciate his skill, sense of responsiblity (He returns my calls) and very pleasant bedside manner. We have been to cheaper Vets but have always been disappointed. One of these other cheaper Vets had no X-ray machine and gave my wife an unknown kind of pain medication in an unlabled pill container for our dog who had a sore leg. Incredible. I just bought a puppy from Pets Discount ( will coment later on this pet store) and they referred me to a vet near my house for a free exam but I didnt like it. So I called the pet store back and they recommended Dr. Craig at the Pet Clinic. Dr Craig was very thorough and spent alot of time explaining how to take care of my new puppy.and even gave me some free puppy food and DVD on training him. He also told me that my puppy had a hole in his skull which he was born with and which the other Vet completely missed. I recently began shopping for another vet as my old Vet had retired. On the advise of my friend I took my dog to Dr. Craig Harada at The Pet Clinic. I made the appointment easily and when I arrived the next day I was greeted by a very friendly and accomdating staff. My dog's examination was equally positive as Dr. Craig took the time to thoroughly examine as well as explain everything to me. This is very important as I am kinda of nerd and i often feel the need to know EVERYTHING I can about my pets health. The first thing I noticed about this place was how busy they were ( A good sign) and how friendly the receiptionist and staff were. They made me feel very comfortable. My appointment with Dr. Craig also went very well. He is a very easy to talk to and took a lot time explaining things to me. This was very important for me as my Lucy is very old and there was a lot of things that I needed to know. Dr Craig answered all my questions. I recently began taking my pets to Dr. Craig Harada at the Pet Clinic. The Clinic is actually a full service hospital that will cater to your pets every need. I began taking my birds and puppy there last year and I have been very satisfied. Dr. Craig is very caring and knowledgeable. My lovebird had an egg stuck in her and she would have died had he not treated her. He has great expertise with birds and will answer all your questions. I really appreciate that as the last Vet I went to would get angry when I asked him questions. When I got my first puppy last year Dr, Craig also took the time to explain how to house train him, trim his nails and clean his ears.
