Went in to get my 5 month old puppy neutered, he had never been to a vet and the receptionist was extremely rude rolling her eyes and dragging my anxious puppy to the back almost choking him. Was to high pressure. Went there to get basic vaccines updated for my dogs and anal glands done on 2 of them. They did a fecal samples without my knowledge charging me 25.- for each dog. Found that the receptionist at the front desk quite rude and short with me where I could barely get a word in edgewise.Read Less

Over priced, lack of communication between actual doctor and pet owner and poor follow up or compassion for pet once the animal is checked in for care or set home after procedure. Our dog fell off the bed during the night back in November. Fractured her front leg, we were told we could take her to a specialist that would charge us twice the cost All Valley would charge or have the procedure done by Dr. Macintosh, who would be in the next morning and he was the best. Well the procedure wasn't done the next morning it was done three days later costing us close to $2600.00. We received one phone call right after surgery letting us know how the surgery went and giving us the basics of at home care. After we picked her up we were then told we had to bring her back to their office every week to have her cast changed. Each of these visits was $29.00. This went on for 8 weeks and never did we see a doctor or meet face to face with Dr. Macintosh. At the 8 week visit our hopes were high, we were told she would have an x-ray done and the cast would most likely come off. The Vet tech once again came out, grabbed Molly took her back to the special room, did the X-rays, changed her cast and notified us she just wasn't ready. Bring her back in a week. This time we got a special! 10% off. Total BS. We decided to take her to our normal vet and see what was going on. They took one looked and told us it wasn't healing correctly. We are now seeing the "Specialist" and she is healing. DO NOT GO HERE.Read Less

LOVE this place! I have a (sometimes) high strung Yorkie with anxiety which can sometimes cause his trachea to collapse if he gets too stressed out. All Valley always lets me call ahead to reserve a room if one is available so he doesn't have to be around other dogs. Dr. Loweth is the best vet we've ever worked with! She is extremely knowledgeable and caring. My dog just had a minor surgery yesterday, and Dr. Loweth even stayed several hours overtime to hang out with him until we were able to pick him up. The rest of the staff is great as well. If you're looking for a new vet, this is definitely the place to go! Read Less

If you have a true pet emergency, this vet would not be my recommendation. We came in Monday night with a pug walking crooked, collapsing and clearly struggling to breathe. We ended up with X-rays (where his condition, while hard to spot, was missed) and an ear cleaning. Nothing else. No offer to do blood work, or observe him overnight. They were busy and just sent us on our way with a $300+ bill saying sorry, but they didn't know what was wrong. Five days later my dog is fighting for his life at a true vet hospital across town where tests revealed a blood clot and hemmorage. (Not to mention he was rushed back and put in an oxygen chamber immediately.) For FIVE DAYS my dog has been suffering and now may not survive because this vet hospital didn't have the expertise to spot something complex. Save your time and money - and maybe your pet's life - and start across town where there are true animal physicians and specialists.Read Less

I can't begin to Express in words how Grateful I am for the Quality and Care they Provided SAM, my Black Lab. He being a Normal got in to stuff he shouldn't have....... DR. Macintosh, was phenomenal, the Vet Tech was though in explanation, and the two ladies at the front desk were a Hoot, your already feeling like a bag of ass because your pet is sick or injured the last thing you need is a pissy, grouchy. rude receptionist. These ladies were Amazing, kept the mood up beat, Very, Very Compassionate, and Extremely Professional. and noticed I was a Retired Veteran and I received a 10% discount. this is the Same facility, where over the last two years I had to put down two Aging Dogs, I again can not put into words, the heart felt compassion the Entire staff showed, not to mention the very personal setting of a family room they have in the back to spend time with your loved one during their final moments if desired is Really nice. it takes the Clinical aspect out of it. My husband and I just wanted to thank all of the staff at All Valley for the wonderful care and compassion shown for us and our sweet 8 year old lab girl last night when we had to bring her in for an unexpected ER visit after being hit by a car. The techs met us at the front door and the team urgently did the best they could for her. Unfortunately we had to make the heart wrenching decision to let her go as her distress and injuries were too severe to make continued treatment the right option for her. But the doctor was wonderful and walked us through everything... She helped us understand the injuries, prognosis, and options and was very patient. The receptionist was caring and wonderful too, explaining the options for her final arrangements. Thank you to everyone at All Valley for making this awful night as comforting as possible. I took my 5 year old doggo here hoping that they'd tell me he was just very sick with something. A little worse diagnosis I wasn't expecting was that he had really bad lymphoma. They laid out all of my options and the pricing of each one. I decided that my pup had suffered enough and since there's no cure, we decided as a family to have him put to sleep. I have taken both my pets there for almost 16yrs. My Oliver Kitty got sick 4-5 yrs ago and was kept over night on antibiotics. I took him home and still not better. Then it was the weekend so i was told to take him to Emergency care in Nampa. He was given a few more injections as I couldn't afford to leave him overnight again. He eventually got better and lived for 16yrs! I was heart broken when in May I had to put him down. The staff & Dr were very compassionate. I brought Oliver home for burial in a custom made box. Lately, I've taken my dog in there for annual shots.* Never any issues at Emerald location other than their prices seem pretty high for a routine teeth cleaning.But overall would recommend them. Have been going here since my 8 yr old Golden was a puppy and have always been very pleased. All staff are sweet and do their best to make my shy dog comfortable. He was diagnosed with lymphoma in late January and has had his fair share of appointments and urgent visits and they always do their best to get him in right away. Dr Sparzo and Dr Abby are wonderful, and I fully credit them with the fact that he is still himself (and alive!) 10 months after a lymphoma diagnosis! They've been amazing at consulting with an oncology vet to ensure he could get treatment that is best for him at All Valley, and financially doable for my husband and I. Love All Valley!! Read Less

All valley is a good place to take a dog to get checked up. The price is about average and the staff is friendly. I recommend west vet first as they are a specialty 24 hours. I sometimes am referred to them for my pets. West vet however is very expensive. My second recommendation is all valley. It's good to have a vet office that does emergencies and is 24 hours. So in case of anything they know your dogs history and you can easily get help or information when needed without waiting. I have had good and bad experiences with all valley. I still go to them because I feel they have done more good than harm. No vet office is going to be perfect and please don't judge so harshly based on a couple of incidents. I've taken my dogs there for years and unfortunately had to put down 2 of them there. They have been a good vet office and I still recommend them.Read Less

This place was awesome until today. Last Saturday, had my dog bathed & nails trimmed for $20. Everyone was very accommodating. Today, we were turned away. We didn't have an appointment, and the price quoted was $15 higher than what we paid last weekend. The funny part is the first time we were ever there, we were told that they are first come, first serve. No appointments. We've had 3 of our dogs there for their nails, one for a bath. Never an appointment, price was always the same. Post your prices & your policies, or get on the same page. The gal today was rude, complaining of being short staffed. I foster for a local rescue organization that uses All Valley for their veterinarian needs and as a result have found myself at both their Emerald Street Clinic and their Meridian hospital on multiple occasions.  At both locations I have always received excellent care for the pups in my care.  Their staff and Drs. are knowledgeable, friendly, and compassionate.  Typically, the Emerald Street clinic is able to get me in on the same day with very little wait time; whereas, the Meridian location is an emergency room and depending on your pets condition and the other emergency cases they have you may experience a longer wait (just like a human emergency room).  In either case, the care your pet receives is top-notch.  Whether it is a routine puppy exam or emergency surgery you can be assured your pet will receive excellent and compassionate care. I had to make an urgent appointment to establish care for my kittens.  I took them to the Federal Way Clinic.  I found the staff to be professional, friendly and knowledgeable.  They got me in the same day that I called and the entire experience was pleasant, from the phone call until I walked out the door.  I was highly impressed with Dr. Niki Eld.  She took more time with us than human doctors take with people.  The facility was clean, beautiful and set-up nicely for pets.  The room that we were in was set-up for the kittens to play.  This is by far the best veterinary clinic that I've encountered in all my years of pet ownership.  I would highly recommend. I cannot express how much I loved our experience with All Valley. From the first phone call when the receptionist/tech said to call when we got there if I needed help unloading my dog and baby, to the treatment and care they provided to our dog. The tech and vet bother were patient and introduced themselves to my dog, talked to her and explained everything they were doing. This meant the world to me since we've had an experience where my dog was pinned in a corner and snuck up on to get a rectal temp. I mean no one likes a sneak attack especially like that. They also didn't automatically put her in a muzzle and when I told them the vet we left always did they responded with "we like to give them a benefit of the doubt" and this made my dog so much more comfortable with what they had to do. I usually get such anxiety going to the vet in gneneral and I wasn't looking forward to going with my new furless baby but the staff made it a breeze. After seeing nothing but negative reviews online I was skeptical about taking my dog here but I took my dog in to get neutered. Was nice and easy check in, easy pick up and my dog seems fine. Wasn't any issues at all. The person at the desk was very friendly and informative. I think for the most part people tend to write negative reviews to warn other people about the experience they had, which is great, but I believe that everyone's experience is different. I was really disappointed with this clinic. I took my cats there to get fixed. We were hoping the girl cat wasn't pregnant and they couldn't tell before they started so we just went ahead with the surgery. When I get there to pick the cats up I had my 7 year old and 5 year old with me. They were anxious about their kitties. As soon as I got up to the counter the lady informs me the cat was pregnant and I owe them more money. The kids immediately started asking questions about the cat being pregnant. They were very very upset about the whole thing. I felt like this woman handled the situation very poorly. She easily could have informed me of the extra cost and reason WITHOUT my kids knowing that the baby kitties are now dead. She was more concerned with getting more money out of me than she was about the very sensitive ears that were listening to the conversation. The first time I was there they took my dog our of the room to do a simple puppy exam, and she yelped. They told me they got a little close to her area (apparently so close that my dog sprayed the vet). I didn't know any better at the time, but of course I don't like to hear my pet upset. The second time was for her spay (which yes, I should have known better) When I got her home the suture line looked really jagged and not a clean cut. 2 weeks later I found a line coming out of my dog, it looked to me like a fishing line. So I took her in and they said it should dissolve but they took it out for me. This did not look like a dissolvable stitch. Not even a day after I found another line coming out of her skin, I pulled and it was attached to layers beneath!! I again took her in and a tech told me the same thing! These were not dissolvable stitches and they were coming from the inner layers! The dissolvable stitches on the outer layer are still in her and its been 7 months. I have to squeeze them out through the holes in her skin from the needles, so they are only partially dissolvable. Every time I look at my ups stomach, I get upset. They basically butchered her stomach, and there are still black mars where her 'dissolvable' are. If this is what I can see, I am worried about what she went through when I was not there! Read Less

The first vet I saw was an older lady who seemed pretty knowledgeable but her bed side manner for someone who is as attached to her pet as I am was awful and we knew there was a bacteria problem but she wouldn't give me antibiotics in the mean time of waiting for testing which while we waited my cat got sicker. Finally I talked to a different vet and she only needed 5 minutes to say there was an infection and gave me the medicine I needed. In the end I was happy with the second vet but not pleased with the first lady. So just be careful which one you get, I guess. Read Less

Went to the all valley on Federal Way. Absolute worst vet in 11 years. Unprofessional vet and staff, rude, take dog out of room to do blood draws and other procedures most other places do in front of you. Took two attempts to get a simple heart worm blood sample. This can be done by a vet tech and they tried to have the vet come in to talk to me and charge me for a vet visit. I specifically specified via phone when I made he appointment with a tech that I would not need to see the vet. Will never ever return to this facility. HORRIBLE! Read Less
