We always take our dog Maggie here for everything from vaccines, heart worm meds, dog food- whatever she needs. The front desk staff is very friendly and the place seems well run. Dr. German is a great vet and has different ways of treatment that don’t necessarily involve surgery, which is harder to find!

I took my sick bunny to AH because I was referred to Dr. German as a vet who knew rabbits. Sadly, my bunny Zoe did not make it and had to be put to sleep. Dr. German and her staff were very kind and compassionate and Dr. German took the time to talk to me about Rabbits and Rabbit health and even pointed me in the direction of a local rabbit rescue organization. And then, days later, I received a sympathy card in the mail regarding my loss of Zoe. I recommend Dr. German for anyone who has bunnies.

I used to take all my animals to Dr. German, however after my experience with my cat, I will never go to her again. My cat had been coughing for months and she could not figure it out. I took my cat to them several times; one of which he stayed the night. The next day I was expecting to pick him up, but since Dr. German called 10 mins before they closed at 130pm, my cat had to spend another lonely night alone in the vets office. I decided to take my cat to another vet for a second opinion and asked for all of his records from Dr. German. She gave them to me, however wrote some rude messages on the back stating I refused to give my pet the medication she prescribed. The meds made my cat violently ill, and I told her I would not continue giving him something that makes him sick and made the coughing worse right after he took them. We later found out that vomiting was the number one side affect of the medication, but Dr. German never told us that and she seemed surprised that he was so sick from it. After taking our cat to our new vet, they found out exactly what was wrong. He was treated and his coughing stopped in a few days.

I was looking around for affordable care for my kitten. I went to Animals R Us and was HIGHLY DISAPPOINTED by them, so I left and called the Animal Health Hospital. I told the front office lady that my kitten was attacked and had an infected abscess. I told her that she (my kitten) had a fever of 105 and needed to be seen right away. She said "Cats don't get THAT high of a fever from a cat scratch. Your cat has distemper. The outcome is not good for her. All I can do for you is offer a blood test that costs $40 and needs to be performed outside, so your cat doesn't infect others." All of these assumptions were made off of a minute conversation. She had never even seen my cat before or had any other knowledge. Her saying this to me caused me a bunch of worry and anxiety because I thought my kitten was going to die. I took my kitten to another vet, where they gave her antibiotics and they surgically placed a drain in her. She is now home, healthy and has no stitches or drains in her. Her hair is even growing back from being shaved, no thanks to the Animal Health Hospital. I STRONGLY recommend not coming here.

One day my cat Amos was suddenly sick and completely limp, I called Animal Health Hospital and they made room for him in the schedule because he needed to be seen right away. I've never seen people who care about the animals in such a genuine way. They will do whatever they can to help out your pet, and thanks to them, Amos is lively and well.

My dog needed its' teeth cleaned. Any other place was outrages in price for dental cleaning. They were priced well, didn't push any other services on me, and even called to make sure my dog was doing well after having anesthesia for the dental cleaning. The front staff is great and so are the doctors. You can tell they genuinely care for the animals. I would recommend to anyone with a pet to come here. Will definitely be back!

One day my cat Amos was suddenly sick and completely limp, I called Animal Health Hospital and they made room for him in the schedule because he needed to be seen right away. I've never seen people who care about the animals in such a genuine way. They will do whatever they can to help out your pet, and thanks to them, Amos is lively and well.

My dog needed its' teeth cleaned. Any other place was outrages in price for dental cleaning. They were priced well, didn't push any other services on me, and even called to make sure my dog was doing well after having anesthesia for the dental cleaning. The front staff is great and so are the doctors. You can tell they genuinely care for the animals. I would recommend to anyone with a pet to come here. Will definitely be back!
