Also I didn't have a chance to go there so this review is based on one phone call. Not friendly person at all,I didn't feel welcome when I asked if they are accepting new patients cause we just moved here. I asked if they are certified to do elbows and hips certification for breeders. She wasn't sure and then told me they are not without even asking someone. Today I had a spay surgery for my dog at Habitat Veterinary Hospital. I have to say I was very happy with the service and care staff and doctor provided me with. Not only they were accommodating to my special situation they were extremely professional and caring. I got updates via text every half an hour with a results of blood work and overall condition of my dog. Doctor personally called me after the surgery and told me the results of the surgery and condition of my dog. This is my second visit with doctor Frost and he is simply amazing. I have been taking my dogs to Habitat Vet for over a year now and although it is across town from where I live, I am so glad I did. I've been bringing my cat to Habitat for over a year. They are very thoughtful and considerate to my cat as well as to me. My cat takes daily medications, and even when I am not on top of calling in promptly for his refills, they always do their best to help us. I also appreciate that they have never used high-pressure sales tactics for things like routine care; they are respectful of however much I am able to budget for my cat's care and help me make the best use of what I am able to put toward that. I will start this off by saying I was not seen by any vet at Habitat Veterinary Hospital. This review is for the reason I was not seen. My appointment time was 9:00 a.m. I arrived at 8:45 a.m. I wanted to let me dog go to the bathroom and hopefully fill out any new patient forms since this was our first visit. They have tables and chairs outside their front door which we were sitting in at around 8:50 a.m. I watched numerous staff walk in to the building, from what I can assume they all saw me outside. 9:00 a.m. rolls around and I am hoping they will finally open the front door to let me in. Nobody comes. 9:05 a.m. and they still have not opened the front door, the closed sign is still up. At this point I am very frustrated. I have taken time out of my job to bring my dog here. Not only that I live way over by Eagle, ID. It is not a quick drive to get here. Over 2 hours of missed work and a 75 minute round trip (including the 25 minutes I spent outside waiting) drive. I take my time getting my dog into my truck across the street. I wait for some cars to go by and then finally have to drive away. The time was 9:10 a.m. The closed sign was still up. This is a very frustrating experience to have as a potential new client at a Veterinarian Hospital.Read Less

(Marylin's vet apt. Thursday May 29th, 2016) First off, Dr. Maleki is amazing! To find a vet that cares as much for your animals as you do, is super hard! I've been to almost every vet clinic in the past 3 years and this is the first one that I felt comfortable and when I walked out, I didn't feel like it was all about the money. My dog, Marilyn, has an extremely rare case going on. Even though I didn't get the answer or "cure" I was hoping for, I felt good about it and making my decision about what to do with my dog became more clear and easy for me to understand. Dr. Maleki called me TWICE, the day I took Marilyn in, to give me some more information and to help me with a couple things and also consoled me because I was a wreck. I could go on and on forever but I just think this hospital is great and the people were absolutely amazing! Especially Dr. Maleki, she's the best!!!!! There was a younger girl shadowing Dr. Maleki, and I can't remember her name for the life of me, but she was also amazing and I can tell she's going to be an outstanding vet!Read Less

We love everyone here! The girls were so helpful when I was lugging around my 11month old and trying to get my drowsy dog who had just undergone surgery, into the car. They didn't even hesitate to help me! The dr was incredible and very informative and called me after surgery to let me know she was doing great and that everything went as planned. I would love to thank Dr.Maleki for the wonderful recommendation to save my baby girl. I was completely heartbroken when my sweet little girl went paralyzed in her back end on my birthday. We didn't know what to do with it being a holiday weekend. I searched the Web on Monday and happened to find Dr.Maleki. I took my poor baby in and as soon as she examined her she recommended I take her immediately to west vet and have surgery. She went above and beyond and called the surgeon to explain what she had found and told me to go immediately . Surgery was on January 5 and today my sweet precious dog is back to walking again. Friendly staff and vet techs, outstanding and professional work!! My dog Bubba was well-cared for when he went in for surgery with Dr. Frost. He had to have 6 teeth removed due to infection. He had the same operation years ago at the Boulder County Colorado Humane Society and came home in a ton of pain. However, Bubba acted and felt normal within a few hours this time with Habitat. I recommend Habitat to all of my clients. As a dog trainer and a multi animal owner myself, I think all animals should not only receive the best vet care but I also think they deserve it from those trained to understand what a psychological importance it is taking the time to create positive experiences for the animals.
