They always take care of my little fury family. Brought my Bella dog there to have a mass removed, they took amazing care of her and she was back to her normal wiggly self in no time

My wife and I took our Della in as a follow up to an emergency visit to the vet er. She has been having seizures. I asked about getting her teeth done as I fear it's giving her pain, and without even looking at her, told us "what's the point if she could be dead in a month"!!! Never even examined her or put her hands on my dog EVER! Her previous blood work showed no indication of a brain tumor that is causing the seizures yet felt it prudent to in no uncertain terms, tell us our Della wasn't worth our money.... And for this 120 second "consultation" was still charged 56 bucks.. I always felt they have been very cold and aloof, but this interaction really pissed me off and put my wife in tears...I will never take a member of my FAMILY there again.. Read Less

Treats your animals far better than other places. I certainly don't think this is the cheapest, but it's worth the extra money.

Ive had animals for 25 years and thus have been to many vets. I usually dread taking my Vizsla (Sam) to the vet because he has a history of being very afraid (because a prior experience at a different vet as a pup). The past two times I"ve taken Sam in, the staff at OA Have gone out of their way to help Sam feel comfortable and safe. They have been so understudying, patient, and kind with him. Dr. Turner is amazingly knowledgable and professional. Really a NICE staff and an amazing experience! Read Less

I had a very sick animal. My 1st concern was his comfort. His distress and subsequent physical symptoms persisted for years. All of a sudden he started going down hill. I knew it was his time. I called Orchard Animal Hospital to have an exam. When I realized how ill he really was I changed the exam to euthanasia. Their quote for this procedure was a whopping $195!!! Up from $150 2 years prior. 10 minutes prior to my taking my beloved cat in for his procedure, the Vet called to let me know because of his age, which was 5, he couldn't agree to the procedure unless there was sufficient testing $$$$$$$$$$$$ and treatment $$$$$$$$$$$$ to make, him, the Vet, feel good about euthanizing a very ill animal. I am not without financial means, but I'm also not wealthy. I could see where his mind was going - straight to his profit margin - at the sake of my ill animal. I ended up taking him in to the animal shelter which is the only place in town that does a "no questions asked" euthanasia. Their cost $55!!!!!! My cat and I were treated with respect and kindness and I am very happy he is no longer suffering. My friend who is on the board for the Animal Shelter mentioned to me that the Vets are lobbying the State Legislature to disallow people like myself from using their services. Their reasoning: the animal shelter is taking paying customers from them!!!This is not true. THEY are pricing themselves out of the pocket book of an average paying client. Enough is enough!!! It is time for us to do something about this run-away train of unregulated fees that Vets are charging. They go up an average of 10% per year. I do hope something is done, FOR the people, instead of this greed continuing. I for one have decided to no longer have animals. I make more than the average person by far and I cannot afford their care Read Less

The veterinarian was nice enough, but I couldn't pay for the extra blood work right that second so I was politely shown the door with no possibility of arrangements or invitation to come back later or discussion of any kind. I feel like I got punched in the gut and charged $50 for it. I know losing my business isn't going to hurt them, but paying $50 to start a relationship with a vet is an investment, not a fee. I'm looking for a vet that cares more about long term customers than profits for the day. Read Less
