I have been a customer of Alpine Animal Hospital for the last 18 years and have had 5 pets in that time. I have always been happy with the service in the past. I made an appointment for my 1 year old dog to be spayed and was told that I needed to wait 3 months since she was in heat. No worries. I showed up to our appointment only to be told that I needed to reschedule because she hadn't been seen in 6 months and that they may not be able to work with her because she “might" be aggressive because she was nervous. Her hackles were raised and she was backing away, no growling and no teeth showing. No one approached or tried to work with her. I was told that most animals that go there are happy and they want the animals to have a pleasant experience. I couldn't believe it. None of my pets have ever been happy going to the vet and surgery is not going to be a pleasant experience. The staff who made the appointment did not ask when she was seen last. She did not tell me that I needed a pre-appointment or sedation. This was never the case before they moved to their new location. Staff was robotically polite and were completely indifferent to my being upset. I also had to put a deposit down for the first time. I have never not shown up for an appointment. I made an appoint at another vet and asked if I needed to do any of this and was told no, including no deposit. Getting my pets records is proving difficult.

Our Veterinarian moved out of state so we needed to find a new one. We had an emergency with one of our cats and having never been here thought it may be difficult to get in. They were AWESOME! We dropped the cat off, they took excellent care of him, called to check on him when we took him home and were very kind and caring. The office was clean and welcoming. We anticipate a long relationship with this clinic. THANK YOU SO MUCH!

I can't say enough about Alpine animal Hospital!! I recently relocated from the Seattle area where I was employed by an animal hospital over there and got the most premium care I thought I could ever have so when my dog came down with a hematoma on his ear traveling 300 miles was not an option. I went to google and of course it was a Saturday and found a vet that was able to see him, won't mention names but after inferior service over $500 invested and a month of dealing with this problem I moved on... once again on a Saturday I contacted Alpine Animal Hospital, right away she picked up on my frustration from the ordeal I'd already gone thru, told me not to worry she would speak to the Vet in between clients and get right back to me. Less than an hour she called back and fit me in. We were seen scheduled for surgery the following Tuesday and now my pup and I are home both recovering him from surgery and me from the excitement that I have again found a veterinary office that is caring, through and reasonably priced! Thank you to everyone that took such amazing care of Beaumont the wonder dog!!

We brought our buddy Enzo there on an emergency visit and the staff was amazing and didn't hesitate to come see what was going on. They knew right away what was wrong and gave him the proper medication to help him get well. They said it could be days before he felt better and it was only hours. They also listened to us when we expressed concerns about a medication they wanted to try but we said he had an aweful reaction to at another vet. Which was great because the last vet didn't listen to us and Enzo almost didn't make it through the night. Highly recommend these guys everyone was super friendly and you could tell everyone really cares.

There is nobody that I would trust more with my Beau's care. They are always so caring and sweet. Most recently, Beau chewed up a disposal razor and xrays showed he had ingested a few pieces of a blade. They calmed me down and walked me through what to do to get the bits passed successfully. Beau knows where every cookie jar is and I swear that he deliberately gets into trouble just to make a cookie run and visit!!

If I could give a million stars I would. Everyone I have came in contact with there was so sweet and friendly. They all cared about my baby like they had known her for years. Olive loved the vet even kissed her after the vet took some samples of a thankful not cancerous tumor. Did her surgery Friday thankful Saturday we got to bring her home. She is recovery well with lots of loves and cuddles she will be back to her waggle little self in no. Time. Today made this whole experience amazing they called me just to check on miss olive just to ask how she was doing. They r so so sweet and caring. Will DEFIANTLY tell all my Idaho family and friends to come in next time any of there fur baby's need a great and loving vet :) thank you again love Olive and Donise

Our dog suddenly became very ill. We recently moved to the area and had not established with a vet yet. I called Alpine as they are close to us and they told me to bring her right in and they would work her in. I had planned to just leave her, but Dr. Duchow was able to talk to me. He spent about 20 mins taking a history and trying to figure out what caused her sudden severe illness. Over the course of the day he called twice to discuss what was going on and talk about alternative next steps. We left her overnight in critical condition. This morning (Saturday) Dr. Bailey called with updates and spent another 20 mins on the phone with me, and when I picked up Sadie just before closing today, Dr. Bailey went over all of her meds, how to give them, what to watch for, and even wrote out a schedule to keep the meds straight since some have to be with food, others not taken with other meds etc. She also wrote out and went over detailed findings and differential and working diagnoses along with what treatments they had provided Sadie, and why. I could not be more impressed. Dr Bailey spent about 30 mins with me doing all of this. I think I might quit going to my family doctor and just go see Dr. Bailey and Duchow. Thank you both for your excellent care of Sadie. I'm so impressed!

We could not have asked for better treatment from drs. Bailey and Sullivan and the staff over the last few months we've lived here. Their compassion and professionalism was much appreciated on Friday when we euthanized our beloved Staffy, Bailey; and their concern and care for our boxer, Kodi, is top notch. We are eternally grateful for the care they've given our pups.

From my Chocolate Labrador's 4/1.2 hour emergency surgery after gorging himself with gravel, to teeth cleaning of my two little ShihTzu's, to taking care of my Yellow Labrador after injoying a bag of organic furtilizer... Alpine treated my 14 year old poodle for 26 months. He had kidney failure. With their excellent care and treatment of Coco, he lived to be 16 and 4 months. During this time, they treated him with the latest techniques in medicine and were available 24-7 for him and me. They are currently treating my 80 pound dog with the same quality of care.

There is nobody that I would trust more with my Beau's care. They are always so caring and sweet. Most recently, Beau chewed up a disposal razor and xrays showed he had ingested a few pieces of a blade. They calmed me down and walked me through what to do to get the bits passed successfully. Beau knows where every cookie jar is and I swear that he deliberately gets into trouble just to make a cookie run and visit!!

If I could give a million stars I would. Everyone I have came in contact with there was so sweet and friendly. They all cared about my baby like they had known her for years. Olive loved the vet even kissed her after the vet took some samples of a thankful not cancerous tumor. Did her surgery Friday thankful Saturday we got to bring her home. She is recovery well with lots of loves and cuddles she will be back to her waggle little self in no. Time. Today made this whole experience amazing they called me just to check on miss olive just to ask how she was doing. They r so so sweet and caring. Will DEFIANTLY tell all my Idaho family and friends to come in next time any of there fur baby's need a great and loving vet :) thank you again love Olive and Donise

Our dog suddenly became very ill. We recently moved to the area and had not established with a vet yet. I called Alpine as they are close to us and they told me to bring her right in and they would work her in. I had planned to just leave her, but Dr. Duchow was able to talk to me. He spent about 20 mins taking a history and trying to figure out what caused her sudden severe illness. Over the course of the day he called twice to discuss what was going on and talk about alternative next steps. We left her overnight in critical condition. This morning (Saturday) Dr. Bailey called with updates and spent another 20 mins on the phone with me, and when I picked up Sadie just before closing today, Dr. Bailey went over all of her meds, how to give them, what to watch for, and even wrote out a schedule to keep the meds straight since some have to be with food, others not taken with other meds etc. She also wrote out and went over detailed findings and differential and working diagnoses along with what treatments they had provided Sadie, and why. I could not be more impressed. Dr Bailey spent about 30 mins with me doing all of this. I think I might quit going to my family doctor and just go see Dr. Bailey and Duchow. Thank you both for your excellent care of Sadie. I'm so impressed!

Dr. Bailey is THE BEST vet and the only one I trust with my dog. She is very compassionate and caring and extremely knowledgeable vet. I highly recommend!

We could not have asked for better treatment from drs. Bailey and Sullivan and the staff over the last few months we've lived here. Their compassion and professionalism was much appreciated on Friday when we euthanized our beloved Staffy, Bailey; and their concern and care for our boxer, Kodi, is top notch. We are eternally grateful for the care they've given our pups.

From my Chocolate Labrador's 4/1.2 hour emergency surgery after gorging himself with gravel, to teeth cleaning of my two little ShihTzu's, to taking care of my Yellow Labrador after injoying a bag of organic furtilizer... Alpine treated my 14 year old poodle for 26 months. He had kidney failure. With their excellent care and treatment of Coco, he lived to be 16 and 4 months. During this time, they treated him with the latest techniques in medicine and were available 24-7 for him and me. They are currently treating my 80 pound dog with the same quality of care.
