So we just had our girl in for surgery. They did a wonderful job and we are very happy having surgery on a 16 year old pup and so far results are great. Only problem is cost was 11 hundred dollars. No problem. But not covering the bandage change 2 days later? Come on 2 dollars or less and you want 14 bucks after we spent 1,100.00 ? It’s not the money but at least let us know everything after the surgery will cost extra. I don’t agree with it but at least it won’t surprise someone who really can’t afford it. Plus the cost of the pain medication. Although cheap we need to know. Maybe think of adding it all up and telling us 1,150 but that covers all. Ok just my 2 cents. A piece of that %#@@#$%^ Cheatgrass got lodged up my Boston Terriers nose on Day 2 of our visit to Boise. (Nothing says "vacation" like a trip to the doctors.) A lady referred me to Eagle and they got me in the next morning less than two hours after I called. They gave me a guesstimate over the phone and guaranteed me that there would be no surprise charges on my bill without my consent, nor a "new patient setup fee" like so many vets want to charge, even if you are never coming back.I got my little man in, they got it out...problem solved. I felt safe leaving my treasure in their care and although it was still a little on the expensive side (in my frugal opinion and compared to the Southeast), it still came in less than the guesstimate. As far as I am concerned this is the very best care you can give your pet. The whole staff is so caring and truly love the animals. I had an experience with another larger operation here in the Treasure Valley with 2 or 3 locations and they are not even in the same class.
