This is probably the best vet in the area. I know when I take my dog in she is going to get the best care possible by the most knowledgeable and compassionate vets. The entire staff are friendly and helpful AND. Their rates are very reasonable. I live in Boise but I make the trip to Kuna when Annie needs to see a vet. Highly recommend. Read Less

This place is the best!!!! I called them at 8am and they were able to schedule me an apt with in an hour. My dog is not very happy to see the doctor. The staff was amazing with him and actually adjusted their time for him and not rush through. They trully care about the animals well being and not the dollars. And they even called the next day to see how my dog was doing. Which was a complete shock!! I completely trust them with my dog and will continue to go their for all of my dogs needs. Had a appointment for 4:00 arrived 18 minutes late due to traffic. Took afternoon off of work and drove 25 miles and they would not take a look at my dog after all of that because I was late. Very poor customer service. Vets are nice and good prices but customer service is VERY POOR Read Less

The entire office is amazing. We had a very bad experience over the weekend with an emergency vet and we were very happy to get our dog back to these guys on Monday. What a difference. The level of care and service is awesome. These guys are the best. Read Less

I have been a client for many years. I like that they are fairly close. They are very responsive to phone calls. Getting an appointment with short term notice has worked. I have had many conversations about different health issues for my breed and feel they are knowledgeable. I have a personal interest in health issues and they are my vet for the Morris Animal Foundation cancer study in Golden Retrievers. Very caring vets! Read Less

I called to get my kitten declawed and was told he needed expensive and unnecessary lab work. I informed them that my kitten had been 'fixed' and done fine with anesthesia less than six months prior. They persisted. I called other places. My kitten was declawed at Meridian pet hospital for about 150 dollars less with no lblood work to pad the bill. Read Less

I have been working with the team at PCC since 2003. We've had nothing but positive experiences with them and our four dogs, one cat. They sincerely care about our fur babies and go above and beyond to make sure they are healthy and happy. They are also very affordable, I am guessing this is partly due to having low overhead. Their facility may be an old farm house but it is a clean and efficient environment and I think it is more comforting for us and our pets due to its homey feel. Read Less

We just moved into the area and had no idea what Vet to go to when our dog, Jacy, became ill. We read the reviews online and decided that this was the best possible place for our needs. We are still in awe of what happened today.  Our adult daughters 14 year old cat has been going downhill over the last few years.  We have had several cats and we know the signs of nature taking it's course on an elderly cat.  After watching the decline, and knowing the oncoming next steps, we as a family chose to relieve the family pet of it's suffering.  We called the Pet Care Clinic and set a date a week out for a peaceful end.    Our reasons were discussed and everyone agreed that our family decision was our decision to make.Everything was set for 5:30 today.  Over the last couple days the grand kids were eased in to the eventuality of the painful death, and a decision to let kitty go to sleep and move on to heaven.  Today about noon we got a call from someone at the Pet Care Clinic office confirming the appointment and also needing a couple answers to some questions they had.  Understand, this was about 5 hours before the appointment.  The person told me that because they had not seen our daughters cat, they needed to do some "panels" in order to see if there was something that could be done to  ease the symptoms.  When I mentioned that the cat was old, and old cats the step of shutting down at some point, I was told that they needed to do these tests before taking the next step.  I told her that we know when a cat is giving up and did not have a desire to spend untold money in an effort to "possibly" ease some symptoms.  I mentioned that she might want to talk to my wife.  When she called. my wife gave her the same thoughts that I had mentioned.  My wife was then accused of lying to the clinic when the appointment was set, and they would only perform the procedure after doing tests and identifying treatments, if there were any.  When asked how much that would cost, they could not give an amount.   So think about this.  After making an appointment to put our elderly cat out of his misery, then talking it through with my daughters kids, at the last minute they changed their requirements, instead insisting on us spending unknown dollars first.  We cancelled the appointment and made another one for Saturday with another vet.  This new vet understood our position, trusted that we knew what was best for our beloved pet, and committed to the procedure without reservation.  We will never use the Pet Care Clinic in Kuna, and we recommend that you do not either.  Go somewhere that understands your desires. Called to get estimate on declawing my 6 month old kitten. Told them that my cat was a "pound kitty" and was fixed. He had undergone general anesthesia in the last six months and had obviously done fine with that while being neutered. I was told he would still be required to have blood work and an EKG. I was quoted 439.00 for declawing my cat, seriously! My cat has now been declawed, the procedure was done at Meridian Veterinarian Hospital. My pet received excellent and professional care in a quality environment and I was charged 186.00. I saved over 250 dollars and was not overcharged for needless diagnostic procedures. Read Less

The best Vet Clinic I have ever taken my dogs. So caring. Every staff member is friendly and helpful. Reasonable costs. They will tell you all costs up front and will not guilt trip you over costly procedures like some of the other clinics in the area. I had to put my 16 year old Scottie down a couple of months ago and they went above and beyond with the support they gave Paxton and me. Now I have a new puppy and he just went in for his puppy wellness check. The next generation (Samson) gives them a paws up as well. I won't take my dogs anywhere else. Read Less

This clinic does not care about you or your animal. We took our Shitzu Chewy in after we caught him with mouse poison in his mouth. We arrived at Kuna Pet Care within 20 minutes and they needed to induce vomiting but they admittadley didnt know what dosage of Hydrogen Peroxide to give him so it took them a few minutes to induce vomiting. Once they finished up and gave him some charcoal they sent him home with us. The next day he was not doing well so we took him to another clinic. After two overnight stays in that clinic and $2500 later we got him home with a feeding tube as he was unable to eat and drink on his own. They told us his mouth, throat and stomach were full of ulcers and lesions so bad that his stomach looked like spaghetti. They told us that the poison didnt do this but it was due to Kuna Pet Cares treatment. When I confronted Kuna Pet Care they asked me to write down everything that happened and email it to them, so I reluctantly did this. After a few days they contacted me and basically said that they were confident in their treatment. They didnt deny that their treatment caused this but they didnt take any responsibility either. I could tell right from the start of my conversations that they didnt care about anything but themselves. They didnt offer me any explanation, any condolences or nothing but instead saying their treatment was correct. What a joke, I am out $2500 due to their treatment and they dont care at all. I will never take another animal to these guys again and I would caution anyone else who considers this Kuna Pet Care Clinic. Read Less

Our 15 year old cockerspaniel was urinating blood, we brought him here and they successfully diagnosed him. When the options were limited and we were forced to put him down they were very caring. We even got cards later signed by the entire office. When you lose a best friend it is workers like this that will make the world a better place. We will be going back with future animals Read Less

I really don't understand the bad reviews on Yelp for this clinic. I drive all the way from Boise to see Dr. Konzek and Dr. Brittain because they're so awesome!The doctors and staff are very personable and love animals. They take the time to greet the animal and pet them to make them feel at ease. Their prices are amazingly fair. We've had both routine visits and emergencies and I've always been shocked at how affordable everything is. And the care they provide isn't low quality; my dogs have had surgery and other procedures there and always have been given top-notch care. Read Less

This vet has seen our dog several times for a chronic ear problem that happens about twice a year. They refuse to give us a standing prescription for her meds and want us to bring her in each time so they can collect the $42 vet visit fee. We tried to stay local but they care more about money than our pets health. I will never take another animal here. Read Less

I took my dog to the Pet Care Clinic for an apparent eye infection. The assistant who first saw my dog did nothing but try to sell me some expensive heart worm prevention medicine, and never even looked at my dog's eye. When the vet came in, she popped the dog's glands right away, without asking, which sprayed all over the floor. Then she squirted some eye antibiotics right onto the floor in the same place, dipped a q-tip in it, and then rubbed it in both of my dog's eyes! I was so shocked I couldn't move or say anything. We have got nothing but professional care from Pet Care Clinic!!! We have used them for the past 7 years when we first moved to Kuna. They have helped us diagnose issues with elderly dogs as well as injured dogs. Our animals are like children and you want the best care possible. When my Rotti got sick they did every test I asked them to do and then instructed me of my options. Months went by and he had a stroke-I immediately ran him out to PCC where it was a peaceful environment for him to enjoy in his last few hours of our time together. They loved him as much as I did. We now live in Seattle-again my dauchund has a issue. Not liking the vibes I am getting from 2 vets here I am traveling back 500+miles to PCC where I know I'll get a honest professional opinion. Life is too short-if you don't like the service you are getting from your bank, lawyer,grocery store,plumber....then move on and find another. Why be angry? I took my older cats to have them tested for UTI. They suggested all kinds of tests that were unneccessary in my opinion. When I asked will these tests result in curing my animal they said "" No, it will just let you know if you should put them down"" really? for a UTI? Then they gave me meds that cost way more than I had agreed to pay ahead of time. They then are sure to call you each month to have the cat retested. They don't tell you that is another charge! When I said can we stop testing every month and just keep her on meds they said no. When I asked to talk to the actual Doctor, I was told she would call me later. ... well its been months and I'm still waiting... but they sure didn't miss their call to remind me about another useless ""retest"" to find out what I already know. Then after NOT sending me a bill after a visit that I had forgotten my wallet, they sent it to a collection agency! Still without a phone call from the doctor. Kuna needs a better vet. ASAP! Read Less
