This place cares more about your money than your fur babies. I rushed my dog in after he broke his hind leg and the first thing they do is give me something to sign to help sedate him, the catch being it can be anywhere up to $500 for just the sedition. Then they tell us it’ll be an hour wait, an hour later we’re in an exam room where no one comes in for another hour. This was only a tech, who gets my dogs vitals. Another half hour of my dog shaking in my arms and the vet comes in, looks him over and says she’ll send someone in with an estimate on the x-ray.. another half hour later someone comes in to hand me a bill for $295 for an x-ray, something for the pain (that they should have given him long before then) and the emergencey visit. Was informed they will not take any kind of payment plan and any question I asked was pretty much ignored. I sat there for almost four hours before I’d had enough. Meanwhile, I watched every person before and after we got there be helped and on their way while my dog and I sat in an exam room for so long that the auto lights went out. We left without anything having been done to help us. Wouldn’t recommend going here unless you’ve got $1000 upfront. My dogs claw was ripped out of his foot hanging on by skin they tell me it's an hour and a half wait so after waiting two hours they put us in a room finally and tell me it's going to be another thirty-five to forty-five minutes untill we are seen so I gave up and took my pooch elsewhere! At first, the vet assistant was not giving us the correct info and we almost left. But then she came back in an apologized a few times and said that she was confused and that the Vet can treat my sick dog. I appreciated the fact that she sincerely owned up to it and treated us so caring after. Our dog has eaten rising dough and was going to die, we needed care quickly. The vet came in an immediately began to explain the treatments needed. They kept her overnight to monitor the alcohol (from yeast) levels in her body. When I picked her up the next day, I was bracing myself for a $1,500+ bill, but to my surprise and shock, it was $789! Wow, they had to charcoal our dog, give her treatments, IV, test, and monitor her all night and in the morning. We are very thankful for the care we received. My pup had to stay a few days (pancreatitis), but we could talk to a vet whenever we wanted, and got to visit in a private comfy room for as long as we liked to help him eat. We have boarded our Shi Tzu on multiple occasions at this location. The facility is clean and the 24 hour pickup/drop off is very convenient. The staff has always been kind and professional. We also recently had our cat, Bach, in for an after hours visit. The front office staff, vet techs and the vet were excellent. They were gentle and kind to Bach. They also were very professional and took the time to answer my questions and address my concerns. Their advice and diagnosis was spot on. I started my dog there on a five/ half day plan for their daycare. The second day into our plan the manager couldn't find our file. I told them that I had paid in advance and that she had already been there for a day. They let her stay and told me when I went to pick her up that she needed more vaccines, to continue the service. The 'manager' said that she couldn't find the file but would still let her stay. And then told me that she would trust that I was my dog's owner. I really found it strange to be questioned. That was the first negative experience. The second was tonight. My dog broke a nail under the skin while she was with my parents (I was at work all day) and she needed to be brought in to be treated. I spoke to the doctor on the phone after her procedure. But had a few more questions as I picked her up. The vet tech informed me that she wasn't there for the surgery and also didn't answer when I asked about preventative questions or potential underlying questions. She became visibly annoyed and informed me that she had a more important situation to attend to. So after spending roughly $100 last week for surprise vaccines, $70 for 5 (6 hr) days and $270 for today's procedure all within the last 3-4 weeks, I am less than impressed. With the rude service, disorganization of files, lack of communication between staff and their customers-- long story short, there are much greater options. Read Less

The prices are high, BUT we were able to bring in my 14 year old dog during Christmas weekend, at night. It's a blessing these guys are open as late as they are. Not only that they were able to diagnose my dog and give him the anti-inflammatory medication that made it possible for him to start walking again on his bad knee. They didn't push any surgery or extra costs beyond the general tests to properly diagnose him. The vet even recommended acupuncture or water therapy for a dog of his aid. THANK YOU GUYS. Read Less

My family and I want to give a "big shout" of praise and thanks to the All Valley Vet Team! Recently, we were able to bring our new Rough Collies home from adoption. We purchased the Puppy Package that includes all immunizations on schedule and nail trims and discounts on the future spay and neutering. This is a huge savings of course, But more than anything i was touched how genuine the Vet was with our babies and how knowledgeable she is about the breed and special needs of rough coated collies. I have taken all my dogs here over the years to all three of their locations. My pets and I have always been treated well. There is a chance of a wait at the emergency clinic but thats what it is for emergencies. I have had tooth surgery, spay and immunizations at their two other clinics and things were done professionaly and in a timely manner. I love that they offer the neuter and vaccine clinics at all locations. I had an old dog that had a sever injury and needed to be put to sleep so I took him to the emergency clinic. The tech and vet were great and very sensitive to my situation, they even cried with me and made sure we had plenty of time to say good bye. Most recently I had a 5mth old puppy who woke up with a fever. I took him to the emergency and they were very quick and efficient with getting him treated. They also took the time to diagnose him one step at a time rather then every test imaginable which would make my bill unpayable. I have other family members who use all valley as well and are very happy with them and I would have no problem recommending them to others. Read Less

We had an awful experience. My husband and I took our 9 year old yorki-poo in on a Sunday night. After he badly hurt his leg, while playing at the park. The dog clearly in pain, shaking, and whimpering. We were put into a room right away. The tech came in, took his vitals and said the vet would be right in. 45 minutes later, the tech popped her head in and said "So sorry for the wait, we had a couple EMERGENCIES come in, and we need to take care of those." Very frustrating, while my dog was whimpering in pain. After the vet finally came into the room to examine my poor broken dog, she told us he would be fine, and just needed to get some pain meds and an anti inflammatory to help ease his pain. Not knowing what she was prescribing she sent us home with basically the dog form or Advil. The next day, my dog was still clearly in pain. Shaking, not eating, drinking, or walking. I Called All valley and spoke with a tech. Informing her, we were just in there yesterday and whatever the vet sent us home with was not working, and my dog was still very much in pain. She informed me it would take at least 48 hours for the vet to even view my request for a stronger pain medicine. It has now been 4 days, And I still have not heard back from them. Luckily we were able to get him some pain medicine from a DIFFERENT provider, and he is able to hobble around, and has started eating and drinking again. All the staff here are fantastic, which I had my dogs spayed hours later at home one was hurting so bad she couldn't stop shaking the vet advised bringing her back, they kept her overnight to control the pain better & only charged me for any medication they gave her, now my latest trip here, April 28, 2017, my girl was sick and I wasn't sure what was going on, turns out she has a bladder infection I got antibiotics from them & have had questions since which they've kindly & politely answered for me over the phone. Please dont bring your pet here especially if you have an emergency. We brought our poodle pet Luci for an emergency visit. She woke up limp not able to walk and seemed lethargic. We rush her to the er and they took her back to check her, I was never reunited with my pet, I was told she had two tumors and was hemorrhaging, they seemed more concerned about payment than helping my pet. I feel this situation was mishandled, when we were told the prognosis was worse than expected, I said I wanted to see my pet, only to be told to wait that she had to check if there was any new emergencies. When she came back, she said I'm sorry Luci already passed, they finally let me in my kids into the back to see Luci, which we found her body twitching from the last stages of dying. She had blue ink on her front paw where the ivy was put which smelled such strong chemical smell and her back leg was shaved, and don't know why. They took forever and approached this so casual. They don't realize that your pets are pretty special and are a part of your family, I never got to say goodbye to my pet, other than when she was already gone. Do not use their grooming services. After my experience I do not trust these people with my pets. The only time I would come here is if nobody else is open and I absolutely have no other choice.They charge more than other vets in the surrounding areas. It is great that they are 24/7. The downside is that they charge an after hours fee even though they are open 24 hours a day. I would rather take my pets to Ada Veterinary Hospital or Idaho Humane Society. They charge less and I trust them more with dogs than anyone else. They are greedy. You cannot ask them a simple question without them saying that you need to bring the dog in. They are just as bad as a human clinic. Here is my story. When I first got Oreo she was a mess. She looked like she never had her hair done. She ended up in this same exact condition many times since she is difficult to groom. I have NEVER had an incident until I took her to the groomer at All Valley Animal Care Center. When I took her in I should have walked away. I saw the groomers horsing around with another dog instead of working. I dropped her off anyway because I had to be taking care of my other dog and I did not have any time whatsoever. When I came to pick her up she was shaking her head. I didn't think anything of it.I take her to the pet store and noticed that whenever she shook her head there were droplets of blood. I took her back to All Valley and placed a complaint about the groomer. All they did was look at her and the groomer stood there making excuses. Instead of taking ownership of the situation I had to spend $800 for their mistake. They had messed up while grooming her and she ended up needing to get her ears drained. The only thing they could say was that she had mats and it was a freak accident that can happen. Again, I have never had this happen before therefore they did something wrong. When I took Oreo in for a follow up people were shocked at her appearance (she had a bandage wrapped around her head) and they would ask me what happened. I pointed at the groomer area and told them that All Valley's groomer did this. This shocked them even more. This experience was traumatizing to both me and my dog. We brought our small, 14 year old, dog in last night because she was struggling to breath and could not walk. We knew that she was getting to the end of her life. The staff took her in immediately. They got her on oxygen and got her to a comfortable state while the vet talked to us about what was going on and what all of the options were. We made the decision to have her put to sleep. That was an awful decision to have to make and the staff was incredible. They were supportive of our decision and were very comforting to my family. My daughter asked for a lock our dog's hair and they told her they would do that AND get an imprint of her paw to take home. I am very grateful for their help through such a difficult time. When we are ready for another fur baby, we will definitely use All Valley as our primary provider. Read Less

Over priced, lack of communication between actual doctor and pet owner and poor follow up or compassion for pet once the animal is checked in for care or set home after procedure. Our dog fell off the bed during the night back in November. Fractured her front leg, we were told we could take her to a specialist that would charge us twice the cost All Valley would charge or have the procedure done by Dr. Macintosh, who would be in the next morning and he was the best. Well the procedure wasn't done the next morning it was done three days later costing us close to $2600.00. We received one phone call right after surgery letting us know how the surgery went and giving us the basics of at home care. After we picked her up we were then told we had to bring her back to their office every week to have her cast changed. Each of these visits was $29.00. This went on for 8 weeks and never did we see a doctor or meet face to face with Dr. Macintosh. At the 8 week visit our hopes were high, we were told she would have an x-ray done and the cast would most likely come off. The Vet tech once again came out, grabbed Molly took her back to the special room, did the X-rays, changed her cast and notified us she just wasn't ready. Bring her back in a week. This time we got a special! 10% off. Total BS. We decided to take her to our normal vet and see what was going on. They took one looked and told us it wasn't healing correctly. We are now seeing the "Specialist" and she is healing. DO NOT GO HERE.Read Less

All Valley always lets me call ahead to reserve a room if one is available so he doesn't have to be around other dogs. Dr. Loweth is the best vet we've ever worked with! She is extremely knowledgeable and caring. My dog just had a minor surgery yesterday, and Dr. Loweth even stayed several hours overtime to hang out with him until we were able to pick him up. I'm not really sure why this clinic is rated lower by a handful of people, because this is hands down the best veterinary care we have ever received for our dogs. The vet as well as any employees that interacted with our dog were incredibly compassionate and kind with him. They were also incredibly compassionate towards my husband and I as well. We brought our dog in on an emergency with parvo, and were told that we barely caught things in time and that he may not make it. They did everything they could to work with us on the price to give him the best chances of getting healthy again. He ended up pulling through, and I sincerely felt the excitement from the employees matching ours when he did. I cannot imagine anyone else responding as quickly, efficiently and as kindly as the staff at All Valley Animal Care Center did. While our pup was undergoing treatment we received update phone calls from the staff, sometimes what seemed like every three hours. When you are terrified your furry family member is going to pass, this kind of communication makes the world of difference. Being open 24/7 was a phenomenal gift for us. If you're looking for an outstanding vet, this is your place. Wish I could sing their praises more than a 5 star rating. Read Less

If you have a true pet emergency, this vet would not be my recommendation. We came in Monday night with a pug walking crooked, collapsing and clearly struggling to breathe. We ended up with X-rays (where his condition, while hard to spot, was missed) and an ear cleaning. Nothing else. No offer to do blood work, or observe him overnight. They were busy and just sent us on our way with a $300+ bill saying sorry, but they didn't know what was wrong. Five days later my dog is fighting for his life at a true vet hospital across town where tests revealed a blood clot and hemmorage. (Not to mention he was rushed back and put in an oxygen chamber immediately.) For FIVE DAYS my dog has been suffering and now may not survive because this vet hospital didn't have the expertise to spot something complex. Save your time and money - and maybe your pet's life - and start across town where there are true animal physicians and specialists. Read Less

I can't begin to Express in words how Grateful I am for the Quality and Care they Provided SAM, my Black Lab. He being a Normal got in to stuff he shouldn't have....... DR. Macintosh, was phenomenal, the Vet Tech was though in explanation, and the two ladies at the front desk were a Hoot, your already feeling like a bag of ass because your pet is sick or injured the last thing you need is a pissy, grouchy. rude receptionist. These ladies were Amazing, kept the mood up beat, Very, Very Compassionate, and Extremely Professional. and noticed I was a Retired Veteran and I received a 10% discount. this is the Same facility, where over the last two years I had to put down two Aging Dogs, I again can not put into words, the heart felt compassion the Entire staff showed, not to mention the very personal setting of a family room they have in the back to spend time with your loved one during their final moments if desired is Really nice. it takes the Clinical aspect out of it. My husband and I just wanted to thank all of the staff at All Valley for the wonderful care and compassion shown for us and our sweet 8 year old lab girl last night when we had to bring her in for an unexpected ER visit after being hit by a car. The techs met us at the front door and the team urgently did the best they could for her. Unfortunately we had to make the heart wrenching decision to let her go as her distress and injuries were too severe to make continued treatment the right option for her. But the doctor was wonderful and walked us through everything... She helped us understand the injuries, prognosis, and options and was very patient. The receptionist was caring and wonderful too, explaining the options for her final arrangements. Thank you to everyone at All Valley for making this awful night as comforting as possible. I took my 5 year old doggo here hoping that they'd tell me he was just very sick with something. A little worse diagnosis I wasn't expecting was that he had really bad lymphoma. They laid out all of my options and the pricing of each one. I decided that my pup had suffered enough and since there's no cure, we decided as a family to have him put to sleep. Have been going here since my 8 yr old Golden was a puppy and have always been very pleased. All staff are sweet and do their best to make my shy dog comfortable. He was diagnosed with lymphoma in late January and has had his fair share of appointments and urgent visits and they always do their best to get him in right away. Dr Sparzo and Dr Abby are wonderful, and I fully credit them with the fact that he is still himself (and alive!) 10 months after a lymphoma diagnosis! They've been amazing at consulting with an oncology vet to ensure he could get treatment that is best for him at All Valley, and financially doable for my husband and I. Love All Valley!! Read Less

All valley is a good place to take a dog to get checked up. The price is about average and the staff is friendly. I recommend west vet first as they are a specialty 24 hours. I sometimes am referred to them for my pets. West vet however is very expensive. My second recommendation is all valley. It's good to have a vet office that does emergencies and is 24 hours. So in case of anything they know your dogs history and you can easily get help or information when needed without waiting. I have had good and bad experiences with all valley. I still go to them because I feel they have done more good than harm. No vet office is going to be perfect and please don't judge so harshly based on a couple of incidents. I've taken my dogs there for years and unfortunately had to put down 2 of them there. They have been a good vet office and I still recommend them.Read Less

This place was awesome until today. Last Saturday, had my dog bathed & nails trimmed for $20. Everyone was very accommodating. Today, we were turned away. We didn't have an appointment, and the price quoted was $15 higher than what we paid last weekend. The funny part is the first time we were ever there, we were told that they are first come, first serve. No appointments. We've had 3 of our dogs there for their nails, one for a bath. Never an appointment, price was always the same. Post your prices & your policies, or get on the same page. The gal today was rude, complaining of being short staffed. I love this vet and will always take my dogs there! Rescued a sharpie 2 years ago and they have helped us get our dog in a better health state. Unfortunately that meant pulling teeth but my dog is happy and healthier thanks to them. I also had them do her Entropion surgery for her eye and I was so happy to see how well it was done and how much that surgery helped my baby.. They are always genuine and definitely don't push you to do anything but give you the best advice ever! OUTSTANDING care recently received for my dog. I utilized emergency hours care, regular office-hour visit care and overnight hospital-stay care. I would award TEN starts if that was available! I have nothing but extremely positive comments from my experience. First, having a facility open on a holiday weekend / Sunday at 10 pm, was incredible. This saved my pet from prolonged pain and suffering. Next, having my pet seen by experienced professionals who could efficiently treat and effectively diagnose a subsequent illness, along with the state of the art technology and 24-hour intensive-care services saved my beloved pet from experiencing even more pain and discomfort. The doctors are caring and wise and the front desk staff and techs were also very efficient. Finally, the costs associated were MORE than REASONABLE considering the availability, services and level of professional care my pet received. My dog and I will be clients for life! My dog was recently in need of her latest round of immunizations and I brought her to All Valley Animal Care Center to get them done. I made an appointment for 10am on a weekday. I arrived on time. When I got there, there was nobody waiting in the waiting room and only one person ahead of me in line for check-in at the front desk. The ladies at the front desk were not terribly friendly. I checked in and was shown to an exam room where we then waited nearly 40 minutes to be seen. I was told I would be seen by a vet tech (who would take her temperature etc) and then by the veterinarian. The vet tech never did arrive, but after 40 minutes, the veterinarian arrived and administered the immunizations (temperature etc was never done). I'm assuming the wait is due to the fact that they're an emergency clinic and that is certainly understandable. And, in the case of an emergency, they may be a top notch option. However, if you're a busy person who doesn't have excessive time to spend waiting for regular wellness appointments--this is probably not the best option. Read Less

We've been coming here for the past couple of years because our older dog required emergency care several times. After we got our puppy last March, we decided to take him here as well since we never had issues before. We ended up getting the "puppy pack" which costs more, but is supposed to save you money in the end if you have all of your services done here. Since we have a Great Dane puppy, we decided to have him get laproscopic gastropexy and neutered at the same time. I made the appointment back in May for July 5 and took the whole week off work so I could take care of him. At the time, the scheduler said she wasn't sure if Dr. Lake was available since they don't have their doctor's schedules that early in advance. When I called back around June 22, they said the doctor was not working that day and that the next opening was July 12. I rearranged my vacation time, had my father rearrange his trip from California to visit us so that it would co-inside with my time off. They told us to drop off our dog between 6:30 -8am and we dropped off our puppy at 7am, assuming that the surgery was done in the morning. My husband got a call at 2:20 from a gal from the front desk telling him our dog was ready to be picked up. We figured we'd leave him there for another hour so they could observe him. 30 minutes after my husband gets this call, I receive a call from Dr. Lake saying that the scope on the laproscopic machine is not working and that I may need to reschedule the gastropexy. I was concerned about the risks of putting my dog under anesthesia twice and he said there was nothing to worry about - he would try to get the scope to work and would call me back to let me know if he was able to get it to work, or if he would go ahead and only do the neuter. Dr. Lake called me back at 3:33 and said the scope was not working but that he did the neuter and my dog was just staring to wake up and to pick him up at 7pm. When I got there at 7pm, the gal at the front desk said there was no charge since they weren't able to do the surgery. I told her that I still needed to pay for the neuter and I find out that they NEVER did the neuter.  I questioned her several times since it didn't make sense to me and she told me that sometimes the doctors there do stuff that don't make sense to us. They brought out my dog and sure enough he is not neutered, BUT he was anesthesized and they did shave his stomach area and they brought him out with the leash tied around his neck. When we asked what happened to his Gentle Leader harness, another gal came out with it in pieces as she explained that they left it next to him and he chewed it up. I was absolutely livid and bewildered that I left my dog at the vet for 12 hours, and they put my dog under anesthesia for no reason and to top it off they let him chew up his harness. I am switching immediately to All Pet Complex which I've heard great reviews from other Great Dane owners and hope no one else ever goes through this type of experience. Read Less

All Valley Animal Care has been amazing at answering any questions I may have. They are extremely polite and helpful. Too all of those who have experienced bad visits, please give them another chance. We all have our bad days, but I have never had a complaint or concern with the way they care for any animal. Have had a good experience on the vet side, however the grooming is a different story. They gave my Yorkie a fantastic haircut but when I called to make another appointment, no one has since called me back and I've called multiple times. I would never take my pet there again. The male night receptionist was rude, unhelpful, and not very truthful, my dog needed a bandage change i respect that they can't get to him right away, i ask if i could leave him there and come back in a couple of hours, they curtly informed me it would only take a few minutes and he would be taking up much needed space. They insisted i bring him in tonight, well.... i went in and the male receptionist was not polite, or friendly , when we got there there was no one in the place, at least 5 people came in after us and they all got immediate help my poor dog is shaking in his boots and being ignored. after sitting there for at least an hr. I said to the reception person, looks like you are picking up are you sure you will have time to help my dog, Oh sure they will get to you eventually. I said can you check? he brusquely agrees, and then never comes over to talk to me again, after another long wait i finally go to him and say what is going on. He says oh they will get to him eventually. I said oh you never came back to me to tell me. after another long wait. with my poor dog shaking under my chair, I have had enough i stand up grab my dog and say we will find somewhere where someone can actually help us. The brainiac says to me Lady we have had some emergency cases come in you have to wait. I said i am only here because you all insisted it would take a few moments. Which was not true. He was rude and untruthful, i assured him i would have my dogs xrays sent for and we would not be back. There idea of a protective cover for my dogs leg was a used iv bag with a string run through it. i was supposed to tie around his leg. What a joke, never again. I would rather see my dog put down then go back there.!! I see im not the only person with problems with the wait time. the poor reception staff, and the over pricing the best part is they aren't even posting this under the right name!! Been a customer there for a number of years. When they first opened, their processes left a lot to be desired. Over the years they have continuously improved in all areas. Only reason I'm not giving 5 stars is I think there's still room for improvement in continuity of care across different doctors, and there's still quite a bit of employee turnover with the techs and reception staff which can be frustrating at times. But I will say they've made big improvements in these areas too. The rest of my frustrations and gripes are probably all the same at any other vet facility. Another thing i like about all Valley is they have very flexible hours and a relatively fair cost structure around those hours.  The boarding facility has 24x7 drop off and pick up and they are very fair about how they apply their boarding charges too. The receptionist was friendly and expedient when I took my cat in there for an emergency on a Sunday. The vet tech was compassionate as was the doctor. I didn't feel like they were trying to up sell me on an unnecessary procedure which I truly appreciated. Dr. Zann seemed knowledgeable and down to earth with her assessment. I went over on a late saturday after my puppy had passed suddenly, extremely upset and an emotional wreck and the staff at the front desk were amazing. the woman who helped me made the experience as smooth as possible and showed real sympathy and didn't rush us at all. She made a terrible terrible day just a little better. she was upfront with the price but didn't push us and even told us she could invoice us if we wanted. She was just really nice and professional. I've used All Valley since my 3 year old was a baby. I thought it would be a good idea to use a clinic that was open 24/7 in case of emergency. I had my girl spayed and all routine exams and immunizations performed here. I have never seen the same vet or the same front end help in all my visits, so therefore I never have felt like an established client. No one makes you feel like you are anything but one out of thousands they treat. This last week I unfortunately ended up using the emergency services for my ill dog. After taking her in twice in a 3 day period and she still wasn't getting better I opted to try another vet closer to home. Let me just say WOW what a difference! At All Valley neither vet ever touched my dog other than listening to her heartbeat. No physical exam was done they just suggested tests ($$) and prescribed meds (more $$) I spent a lot of money for them to "guess" what might be wrong.  May I suggest that a really good vet listens to the pet parent then thoroughly physically exams the dog! Amazing! Obviously All Valley has become a money making machine, no personal touch there! Needless to say I won't be going back and I recommend everyone check out a "real" vet and make informed decisions when seeking great care for your best friends! Read Less

When we dropped our dogs off at boarding, they seemed unorganized, they didn't have me fill out a y paperwork, and when I asked if they received the fax from our vet with shot records they stated it was probably in their pile of papers to file. Then I asked to go back worth my dogs to check out where they were staying and I got excuse after excuse from the guy working the front desk. When a lady came to grab them I told her I was coming back, she seemed thrown off but allowed it. The fake grass is worn and my dogs kennel want even cleaned yet from the previous dog. When I dropped my dogs off one had a ear infection, I explained everything and was told a vet tech from the vet side would come over and five the medication. When I picked up my dogs they cowered like they had been hit, the medication wad unopened for the ear infection and I was charged an additional 16$ to "give the medication". It was a horrible stay for our fur babies and I will never go back! Read Less

I desperately want to rate this vet care higher as they did preform amazing services in helping my injured animals. I just have a hard time giving a store or business a higher score when they constantly drop the ball on customer interactions.When you wait for over an hour to pick up a medication you pre called in for is not only mind boggling weird, it's also plain rude to the customers time. Being locked in a waiting room for a vet to visit you for over an hour is also unacceptable. I'm very patient, but at some point you wonder if they forgot about you. This might be caused by the fact they are an ER location, but the hours I've had to wait for something that takes less than 4 minutes is just unacceptable. The times you do get with a vet is great though. They are thorough on their answers and try to make sure you leave without any unsure areas. I wish I could rate higher, but the frustrations I've had here really detract me from wanting to go back. There is something wrong if I'm willing to drive 20 minutes out of my way because I know I'll be out quicker than the location across the street. Read Less

My dog had been scratching his ears and it was getting progressively worse. They were able to get me a same day appointment on a Friday when I called in the morning and said they would squeeze me in even though they were booked up. I met with Dr. Dale Lake who listening to my concerns and answered all of my questions. His recommendations were excellent and before they performed any services another girl came in and gave me a lowest and highest estimate for what the services and tests would run. His technician seemed a bit rushed on explaining how to apply the antibiotics in his ear but Dr. Lake explained it to me again in a much more detailed way to help make me feel comfortable. A day later he called me a left a message to see if how my dog was doing and if he had improved. He gave me the results of his tests and said if I had any questions to contact him. It was a nightmare taking my two dogs to grooming at all valley in meridian. I set my dogs up for 0800 am grooming appointment over the phone a week ago When my husband took them in they told him it was 0900 am. Then when I called to see if they were ready around 1200 they told me that the groomer doesn't start 10:00 and had 6 dogs to do from 0900 appointments. Then my husband calls to see if they are ready and the girl says they are almost done so we drive over there and find out that they haven't even started one of our dogs. They told us it would two more hours. We run some errands and find out they are done and it had only been about 45 min. When I first called they said my one dog wasn't in their system and she should be as I brought her shot records the first time you groomed her. I have asked them a dozen times to take a dog we had that died two years ago out of their system but is still in their system. When we paid for grooming we were so surprised how expensive it was now at this place. No explanation to advise that their prices gone up 20%. Over $100.00 for two dogs, small 9 lb and 32 lb. This really crazy. My husband thought they made a mistake with prices. I had been going for 6 years to this place but they are so unorganized I will never go again not to mention that when my husband dropped our dogs off he explained to them how we wanted them cut. However I still got a call asking me how I wanted them cut. They have lost a number of groomers they had for a long time. The staff and groomers are all new and disorganized. I will start shopping around as they seem to be the most expensive and worst customer service ever. It's too bad that the grooming depth has gone down hill. The vets are good there. Also I noticed that there's not as many customers using them for grooming anymore. The staff attitude at the front desk is terrible. In the past the staff were cheerful and seemed to care about the dogs. Be cautious in taking your dog to them they will set a appointment for 0800 but then tell you it was for 0900 and 7 hours later your dog will be done. Should only be under 3 hours or less especially when you have appointment for grooming at least it use to be when they had a staff and groomers that knew what they doing. Very disappointed that they have gone down hill. My dogs deserve better then waiting in a cage all day to get groomed. Read Less

I don't know if perhaps the doctors were having an off night, but they completely misdiagnosed my 3 year old cat and sent him home with antibiotics. Had I not trusted my instincts and taken him to another vet the next day, my cat would not have made it through the night. Even though this is the only 24 hour animal hospital near me, I would sooner treat my animal at home and wait for a better vet to open than go to this hospital. Read Less

This is where my wife and I take our dogs for all there needs. The doctors are so good with my two dogs, a Husky and a retriever. All Valley never makes us wait and were in and out. Also they have military discount which is ten percent of the final bill. I like All Valley so much I'll be bringing my Husky back tomorrow for a grooming and on the 23rd for another appointment. We took our beloved dog in due to some lethargy issues. Unfortunately, her condition deteriorated and we ended finding out she had a tumor on her heart that ruptured. We had to put her to sleep. The vet was very caring and very accommodating. HOWEVER, as others have said in their reviews, the front staff needs a serious lesson in tact and manners. When closing the bill out, she said we could cremate her or if we didn't do that they would probably just put her in the dumpster!! We were appalled at her comments and will never be returning to this clinic for ANY medical services or checkups for our other animals. Read Less

I am so mad at this place that I hate to give them one star. I have been taking my 2 yorkies to this place for a couple of years. The service never has been great but they are convenient because of their weekend hours and because they are close to my home. My one yorkie suffers from kidney and bladder stones and my other yorkie has bad teeth so I have shelled out a lot of money there. My new little female yorkie needed to be spayed. I set up the appointment 3 months in advance. I took off work the morning of the surgery and I did not let her eat and took her in for her procedure at 7am. I also took off work the day after so I could take care of her. At noon they call me to say they have alot of appointments and they want to wait a few months so they can pull her baby teeth. I tell them that I did not schedule teeth only spaying and I wanted her spayed before she goes into heat because I have boys. They tell me ok and to call them at 3pm. I call at 3pm and they said that they still have not started on her and to call back in an hour. I call back in about 1 1/2 and they still had not started. It's about 5:30pm and I said that I would just come and get her. They say no, no she is sedated and ready to go next. They then call me at 7pm to say that they still had not done it and wanted me to wait and bring her back so they could do that and pull her baby teeth at the same time. Rediculous...I told them that I did not arrange for her teeth done as I said earlier and I would just come and get her. So 12 hour later and 3 months of having an appointment she still did not get spayed. I will never, never take my dogs ther again. Read Less

Some bad meat and 3 piles of puke later and we found ourselves at All Valley Animal Care Center.We had to call around to find a 24/hour vet and found it a bit frustrating when not a single one would tell us anything except "bring him in" which is reasonable considering his conditions; however, when asking All Valley they didn't give us a diagnosis but they gave us alternatives of what the problem could be rather than giving us the impression they just wanted our $70 after hour vet fee. Great service, wonderful staff and considerate to "owner frantics" - we felt confident taking our doberman here because of their personable staff who communicate, deliver & gave great attention to our pet's health. Granted I went here on a Saturday, so it was probably busier than normal, but I did have an appointment. I waited for 30 minutes before the tech came in to take my dog's temperature, 30 more minutes for the actual vet to come in (who didn't even introduce herself... a nice touch). Waited another 15-20 minutes for an ""estimate"" for the procedure they wanted to do on my dog. Now, the dog has gotten cheat grass in his foot multiple times, and never once has a vet suggested to sedate him in order to take it out. $209 for a basic, basic procedure is far too much. The vet also seemed pretty incompetent. She was flabbergasted that the dog had a swollen lymph node near the swollen area.... um, that's a pretty common occurrence as far as I know. The vet sent a receptionist in with the estimate (this girl didn't explain anything on the sheet, and just expected me to look at it and sign it, no questions asked). I think the vet should be going over the procedure with me, and explaining why she wants to do something. I felt like I wasn't important, like my dog wasn't important, and that my time wasn't as valuable as theirs. One receptionist even had the gall to tell me that it ""wasn't that long of a wait,"" after I had complained about how long I had been there. Really? So an hour and a half is pretty standard for this place? Then you've really helped me realize that I chose the wrong vet clinic. Even when I first walked in to the facility (which, granted, does look very nice), no one greeted me. I had to grab the new client paperwork myself, since I figured I would need to fill it out... no one was particularly helpful. Even after I had filled out the sheet, they asked me all of the questions face to face at the reception desk. So why did I fill all of this out if you were just going to re-ask me later? I am very, very disappointed with my experience, and this place will not ever get my business. At least they realized my disappointment and didn't charge me the office visit fee. I would've contested it anyway since the vet barely looked at my dog (maybe, MAYBE a minute for the entire physical exam) before making her decision on how to proceed.
