We had the worst experience at Paramount. The staff was nice enough until we disputed the charges, then all compassion and kindness was gone. They treated my husband poorly, and were not helpful. My dog was neutered by their staff a few weeks ago, and they don’t stand by their work. Poor boy had his incision area pop open somehow, and they couldn’t have cared less. Not only did they charge us for the follow up visit (when they were the ones who said to bring him in without any mention of a potential charge), and the rescue we got him from said to take him back to the vet if there was an issue with his stitches), they charged us almost $20 for a crappy used e-collar, and charged us for some ointment that they didn’t even give us! I will continue disputing those charges, even if it means dealing with their rude staff. We will never be returning. My dog, and my husband, deserve better than that. Read Less

We switched to Paramount after leaving a clinic that started to charge far too much for basic services. Bella does not like to have her nails clipped. Because of that, our previous vet clinic told us they would charge us nearly triple. We decided to make a change and read local reviews and chose Paramount. All we can say is that we wish we'd have done that sooner. Everyone is very caring and compassionate. Instead of doing battle with Bella, they got to know her and earned her trust. While Bella still doesn't like to have her nails trimmed, they don't do battle like before. It gets better each time. We have 3 Siamese cats and Paramount Animal Care is where we take them. My wife likes the cats more than she likes me, so they get the best in care. I have been very impressed with the care at Paramount Animal Care. From the moment we met Dr. Fineman, he was more inviting and nicer than any other vet I had taken my puppy to. He took good care of my Beagle puppy when she had her broken leg and seemed to genuinely care about every animal who comes into the office. I recently switched to Paramount after a very disappointing experience with my vet I had been with for several years. I saw the reviews here and Im certainly not disappointed. Dr Mark is everything I was searching for in a Vet for my dog. He is compassionate about his job and the animals he sees. They took outstanding care of my pet rat and they took care of ME, too. I had to put my rat down and I was sobbing and sobbing and they made sure my rat and I were both comfortable throughout the whole process. They are phenomenal. Dr. Mark is the first vet I've truly felt a "partnership" with. I've owned and adopted many animals in my lifetime. All of whom have been my kids! This is the first time I've been "heard." We took our older cat to see Dr. Fineman for a checkup and dental exam. Our cat is not anything close to a "people cat" which was not an issue for Dr. Fineman. He handled her with care and was able to complete her exam and a dental cleaning in a professional manner. He recommended several things concerning health issues our old kitty had which have had a great impact on her quality of life. If only he could have prescribed something for her less than sweet disposition. Oh well we love her still. We would recommend Dr. Fineman and Paramount Animal Care to all those who want a caring and true professional providing care to their pets.
