Our services include preventative medicine, routine vaccinations, surgical and dental procedures, internal medicine and emergency care.
Wendy Madura, DVM
Dr. Madura graduated from Colorado State University, School of Veterinary Medicine in 1995 and started practicing medicine in Boise that year. She purchased the practice, Pet Care Clinic, in 2006 from Dr. Michael Peterson. She is married and has three children, three dogs, two cats and a rat. When she is not working she enjoys baking, gardening, traveling, and spending time with her children.
Technicians
We at Pet Care Clinic take pride in employing a well trained and compassionate staff. We are pleased to have two certified veterinary technicians in our practice. To become licensed as a veterinary technician they must pass a state board exam and often 2 to 4 years of schooling. Our staff attends educational courses both in and out of the clinic throughout the year; to ensure they stay current in the advances of veterinary medicine.
Grooming
Our groomer has over 4 years of experience and is able to cater to your personal grooming requests. She has received specialized training in breed cuts. Being a veterinary clinic, we can offer vaccines, dentals and sedation if needed during your pet's visit to our grooming facility.

Dr Madura, Phil, and the rest of the staff provided the best of care for our dog. Even when we moved across town, we were willing to make the 30+ minute commute to Pet Care Clinic. We took our dog, Suki, to Pet Care when we first adopted her into the family. For almost 12 years, Dr. Madura performed thorough exams, provided numerous options for treatment, patiently listened to our concerns, and addressed those concerns with us. Recently, it came time to say good-bye to Suki. Dr. Madura and all of the staff gently and compassionately walked us through that difficult time. I highly recommend Dr Madura and the staff at Pet Care Clinic. I could not have asked for better care for Suki.

The front desk older lady is very rude and unprofessional. I was 6 mins late to my appointment due to the parking lot being super small and no spots I had to park across the street, when I got inside there was no one at the desk for over 15 minutes! When she returned she told me it was already almost 6 and I could not be seen anymore, Never will I return!!!

My Kelpie, Zoey picked up a large piece of cheat grass on our walk over the weekend which got lodged in her eardrum. She was in lots of pain & would not let me touch her ear at all. Staff at the Pet C...
My Kelpie, Zoey picked up a large piece of cheat grass on our walk over the weekend which got lodged in her eardrum. She was in lots of pain & would not let me touch her ear at all. Staff at the Pet Care Clinic were able to get Zoey right in for an appointment with little wait time to assess her predicament... Dr. Cuthbert had to sedate Zoey to remove the cheat grass & I was able to take her home a few hours later (after her ice cream cone treat at McDonalds of course!) Zoey is doing MUCH better today! Thank you for coming to her rescue! I will not hesitate to refer folks to you!

I brought my dog in at 5:30 on a Tuesday, knowing they lose at 6:00pm. They were courteous and very helpful with my Doberman! I left her there and they stitched her all up and I picked her back up aro...

Dr. Madura is the BEST. I have had a lot of vets all over the country (I have moved a lot for work), and she is by far my favorite. I just took my 5mo 74lb Great Dane puppy there, and she was wonderful! She took time to thoroughly examine my puppy and to let get to know her. I loved how she explained everything that is or might be happening to your dog. She is very knowledgeable, and extremely sweet and kind. Oh, and after she finally got to examine my pup's ears. My puppy gave her a huge kiss. I wish I could take her back to CA with me where I live (I'm on vacation here visiting family).

I was using another Vet in town and they seemed to be more and more unorganized with every visit. Finally after 2 years I had enough and decided to try the Pet Care Clinic. It’s a longer drive for me, but it WELL worth it! I’m impressed with the level of customer/doggie care and every visit is smooth. They are prompt about keeping you informed and I’ve had absolutely no issues whatsoever. The pricing is in line with others in town and I have found the service to be a lot better. I’m extremely happy Dr. Madura’s and the rest of the staff I have met. If you want top-notch pet care, I definitely recommend scheduling an appointment. You will not be disappointed!

Dr Madura, Phil, and the rest of the staff provided the best of care for our dog. Even when we moved across town, we were willing to make the 30+ minute commute to Pet Care Clinic. Staff at the Pet Care Clinic were able to get Zoey right in for an appointment with little wait time to assess her predicament... We have always received compassionate, informed and timely canine and feline care from Dr. Madura, Phil, and staff. They have given us options with every situation we've faced with multiple animals, including emergency surgeries, cancer, and odd things pets get into.

Dr. Madura is the BEST. I have had a lot of vets all over the country (I have moved a lot for work), and she is by far my favorite. I just took my 5mo 74lb Great Dane puppy there, and she was wonderful! She took time to thoroughly examine my puppy and to let get to know her. I loved how she explained everything that is or might be happening to your dog. She is very knowledgeable, and extremely sweet and kind. Oh, and after she finally got to examine my pup's ears. My puppy gave her a huge kiss. I wish I could take her back to CA with me where I live (I'm on vacation here visiting family).

The doctor's were really good at giving my dogs their vaccines and treating my puppy that had parvo with the utmost care. The doctor that treated my puppy gave me the options of what I could do and what it would cost. She made it through and now is a happy healthy dog.

First time bringing out pets here today. Everything was great. Dr. Madura spent more time than our previous vet did when examining our dog. She was wonderful with our dog and very friendly and warm to me. I really appreciate the sweet lady at the front desk who even went the extra mile and helped this mom get my toddlers and our pup out to the car. Thank you!

I have been taking my animals to Dr. Madura and her staff since she has been a vet here in Boise. We have never gotten anything other than the best of care. My pets through out the years are like my children and I trust their care and their well being to Pet Care Clinic. Always very friendly, personal and professional. I would VERY highly recommend Pet Care Clinic to everyone.

All the staff at Pet Care Clinic in Meridian are extremely knowledgeable and are very compassionate. I take my dogs to see them and they love going to the vet. I would recommend anyone to go there.

I was using another Vet in town and they seemed to be more and more unorganized with every visit. Finally after 2 years I had enough and decided to try the Pet Care Clinic. It’s a longer drive for me, but it WELL worth it! I’m impressed with the level of customer/doggie care and every visit is smooth. They are prompt about keeping you informed and I’ve had absolutely no issues whatsoever. The pricing is in line with others in town and I have found the service to be a lot better. I’m extremely happy Dr. Madura’s and the rest of the staff I have met. If you want top-notch pet care, I definitely recommend scheduling an appointment. You will not be disappointed!
