Fantastic and welcoming service. I have had horrible experiences with vets and was so nervous to drop off my babies; these wonderful folks made me feel completely at ease. My dog got neutered here and I was super nervous about it but he did fantastic, he was back to normal in 2 weeks and there's barely even a scar now. I'd definitely recommend this place if your looking to get your dog neutered. Read Less

This is by far the best vet I've ever been to. They are excellent at what they do and you can tell they really care about the animals they take care of. Sunnyside Animal Hospital is by far the best vet in the Treasure Valley.  In the past we have used many different vets for spaying/ neutering our pets and local strays.  Sunnyside Animal Hospital is by far the best around.  We recently had 4 dogs (momma and 3 offspring) s&n'ed at the SAH.  The care given to our pets was great.  The staff is very professional as well as very  caring.  They dont just what we pay for, they do what is needed and them some!  They took care of our pet's needs and saved us money in the process (momma had a slight hernia and they took care of it without an additional charge).  Whether our own pets or strays we find in  our area, Sunnyside Animal Hospital will be the only one we'll trust to treat our animals. Sunnyside has been very nice to me, and helped me let my old sick cat go across the Rainbow Bridge, with out charging me an arm and a leg, they were very respectful and kind. I have since pretty much moved all my animals to their care. Dr. Neher is by far my favorite vet and I trust her with my animals lives and for an honest opinion when I ask a question. I highly recommend this animal hospital! I had my corgi spayed here a few years back and they took such good care of her. She had no problems and healed up nicely. More recently my lab had to have his leg amputated as a result of being hit by a car. Talitha, one of the vets, did an excellent job with him. She was very knowledgeable and caring and kept me updated on his progress often! She went above and beyond! We're new in the area, and after being shocked by an $1100 quote at another vet for a fairly simple procedure on our dog, we inquired around and found Sunnyside.  The same procedure cost $269 here, including a couple of small growth removals the other place didn't include in their estimate.  We found the vet and staff to be very competent and caring.   There is nothing fancy about their offices (though they are certainly adequate), but all that upscale eyewash costs big bucks, as in the $1100 quote we got elsewhere.  As long as the doc is competent and the care is good, who cares if the place doesn't look like a European spa?  We're very pleased to have found Sunnyside. Very patient, kind and informative staff. They take the time to answer your questions and seem genuinely pleased that you care enough to ask them. They've always been very empathetic, gentle and soothing to our pets while doing check ups, shots and diagnostics.We've been taking our two cats and dog here for the past 15 or so years and I can't see going anywhere else. They don't try to up sell you and they let you know what the priorities are if you can't afford every procedure. If it's something vital they'll let you know, but they've never tried to pressure or guilt us into making a decision. I'm not sure about other places, but they even give print-outs of the treatments/procedures they recommend and the cost of each for you to take home and think it over/do your research. We also get little notices in the mail when it's time for their annual checkups. If only I could find a GP this good! Read Less
