Only one star because you can't leave a comment otherwise. We rushed to this clinic with an emergent situation of our precious little dog having breathing difficulties. The staff was nice and helpful and moved with urgency. However, we overheard the veterinarian telling the staff that since they are not an emergency clinic we would have to wait. The people next to us gave up their appointment so we could be seen. The doctor continued walking back and forth past us, ignoring us, as our little dog died in our arms. I began sobbing, and still time passed before she stepped up to us and only offered to apply her stethoscope to our dead dog's chest to confirm that she was gone. I have 15 years experience in human healthcare, and five years managing and teching at a veterinary clinic. I cannot imagine ANY circumstance in which it is acceptable for a medical health professional, on or off duty, to repeatedly walk past and ignore a patient in distress. In hindsight, I doubt there was very much that could have been done to help my little dog. She was older and had sudden onset of breathing difficulties. However, to be IGNORED and repeatedly passed over while your deeply loved family member expires in your arms, without a single expressed care, is morally reprehensible and a humaitarian disgrace. It's two days later, and not a word. No phone call. No acknowledgment or apology. If contact had been made, I would not be leaving this review. If this were my clinic, flowers and a sincere apology without excuses would have been dispatched immediately. I am certain this review will be deleted, but I hope to advise even just one person that perhaps this is not the type of vet you want to be responsible for the care of a beloved family member.
