I've taken my pets here for over 10 years. Recently I had taken a pet in four times for an issue with his eye not producing enough tears. On the 3rd visit (with no change) I learned I did not receive the correct (and substantially more expensive) drops - but was charged for them. One of the assistants said they would have the original receipt pulled from storage and have the owner contact me. That never happened. I had to repurchase the expensive drops, which I did not recognize and these required refrigeration, unlike the other cheaper medication I received prior. On my scheduled 4th visit weeks later my pet did show improvement. I was asked to schedule a 5th appt, which I had done. While scheduling i asked if the owner found their original copy of the invoice or checked to see if their inventory was positive due to me paying but not receiving the prescription medication. Her response was that "oh, that was xxxx, i doubt she even told her, besides she isn't in that often" and rolled her eyes. I continued scheduling the next followup and paying my bill, but told her I wasnt happy that I not only paid for an expensive prescription, but had paid for another appointment that needed to be done since I didn't receive the correct medication in the first place, and losing 6 weeks of potential progress due to the error. I was told that she would have the owner contact me. An hour later I received a phone call from the same young woman, and was told that they do not keep track of their inventory (prescription!!) and have no way knowing if they gave it out or not based on their current inventory. Then I was told she doubted that I didnt receive it anyway. I replied asking her to have the owner contact me, and that I'd share my experience on social media but it probably would matter as they already have far too many customers that they turn away due to not enough staff. 4 days later I received a letter from the clinic stating that "since I am outside of their 25 mile parameter I can no longer have my pets seen by All Creatures", and my copies of my pets records were included in the envelope. Being a native for over 51 years and having moved many times around the Treasure Valley, I found this excuse as pathetic as their prescription inventory control. So in conclusion, if you are overcharged for product or services at All Creatures Animal Hospital and ask for it to be escalated to the owner, plan on looking for a new vet for your pets. Read Less

The vets here are simply the best. They are caring, helpful and answer my many questions. They have squeezed me in when I've had to bring my dogs in for an urgent visit and not had an appointment. While I was a dog breeder, they have taken care of ALL my critters. They are simply the best! I live in Nampa and they are in New Plymouth and they are the ONLY vet I recommend or will take my babies to. If there was any drawback I would say Mondays are a bit crazy there but everyone there is amazing - staff and vets alike. Can't say enough good! Read Less

This veterinarian office is so kind and considerate in helping you with your pet. I've sat and waited (my choice) for a procedure to be done and watched for hours as people come in with their hurt pet. The kindness they show is just awesome! We took our English mastiff here today. He had bone cancer and sadly had to be put down. They treated him with care. They let us say goodbye and take our time. The staff was very caring and wonderful. We taken him there before for his shots and had a wonderful experience then to. Thank you to all of you guys! We will definitely be back for or other animals. This place is just awesome! The staff are all very pleasant and they go an extra mile to ensure your pet is as comfortable as possible under the circumstances. I had nothing but bad luck with veterinarians in the past, and moving over a hundred miles it was so nice to have found this place and not have to worry about my two bigger dogs! For the first 3 years of her life, my dog was heartbreakingly sick and none of the vets in the area I am from could figure anything out to help her. When I asked where I could find a good vet in the area here I was sent to All Creatures. We weren't there long, and the staff had my baby feeling like the pup she was rather than just being miserable! I live in Weiser, and it is well worth the distance each month to see my puppy happy! I absolutely love this veterinary clinic they are personal, educated, and inexpensive compared to other clinics in the valley. Unfortunately they are so great they are not currently accepting new clients but hopefully they will expand to accommodate all the people needing their services. I love these ladies and more important both my Aussies love them too.  From neutering and spaying to dental surgery, I've been completely satisfied with the care for my dogs.  Prices are great too.  I'll drive from Nampa any time to have this clinic take care of my dogs. Read Less

I am not one to write reviews, but after a long a frustrating day it seems appropriate. We had a recommendation to take our dog here for a teeth cleaning, extraction and nail trim based on his age and breed (he is 8 EB and we were worried about anaesthesia). We drove 45 mins to get him there at 8am and were told to plan to pick our dog up around 4pm today. An hour after dropping him off we get a call that he doesn't need the teeth cleaning, his teeth looked great. I find this a bit odd as anyone who has seen this dog could tell you he has dental issues. I asked about the wiggly tooth in front and the giant black mark on one of his canines and the vet told me they hadn't seen this the first two times they looked. This black spot is on his largest canine which happens to stick out of his mouth and is right next to his protruding other two teeth that are wiggling. (Mind blown) She called me back to say they pulled the loose tooth and assured me the other tooth was fine, it is just tartar build up. I asked about antibiotics, since there is now a hole where the tooth was, and she said it would be a good idea. They would trim his toes and we could come pick him up. My husband gets there and asks about the antibiotic (since they didn't mention it) and they told him they already gave it as an injection (this was a pain med, not an antibiotic). He not knowing any better, assumes this is correct and calls me on his drive home to let me know. I call them and the (albeit polite) young receptionist tells me that she couldn't prescribe an abx without the vets order. I explained to the receptionist how I had already spoken to the vet and she said he needed it and that I would rather have my husband turn around now and not have to drive clear back out later. I request she look at the chart to see if there is mention of it. She said she couldn't do anything without talking to the doctor. I'm about ready to gauge my eyes out at this point. Husband gets home with the dog and not only is he without any antibiotic, his nails were not ever done. After two hours they (thankfully) called my husband instead of me and told him they now didn't recommend the antibiotic. My husband insisted they fax it to a local vet. They said they would send it right over. It's been hours and still no prescription. They're only getting two stars because my pet is alive. And if you've read to this point I surely hope you take your pet elsewhere and save yourself the time and headache! Read Less

"VERY caring vets and WONDERFUL service!" These vets are VERY knowledgeable and NOT pushy. They don't make you feel like you need to do unnecessary procedures. They seem old school, and not your typical greedy only about the money, like many modern vets. They will spend as much time with you and your pet and truly seem to care. We will never take our pets anywhere else. About a year ago, we found an abandoned kitten that was hurt. Her tail was almost a skeleton from an injury and she had a hurt leg. She had an overnight stay, amputated tail and all the shots she needed. The cost was over five times lower than my former vet quoted me. The staff at All Creatures are very caring, knowledgeable, and professional. I am confident my beloved Pomeranian is well-cared for. She has had several services there, including routine health checks, teeth cleaning, and some grooming and I've been extremely satisfied with the results as well as their excellent communication on their recommendations and any information I need to know. I think this Paul fellow has too much free time and possibly miserable in his personal life. Becuase everyone I've ever talked to loves All Creatures and the people who work there. I have always had a great experience when I go there. The doctors are very friendly and personable. Sounds like this guy likes to spread lies about people in an effort to feel better about himself.
