Aledo Veterinary Clinic

Aledo, Illinois
General Info
Aledo Veterinary Clinic is a trustworthy and caring resource for families in Aledo. Aledo Veterinary Clinic, located in Aledo, provides animal care that corresponds with the real behavioral patterns of any pet (energetic in the morning, cautious at midday and relaxed in the evening), which is common for all Illinois households. The clinic pays close attention to the entry posture, sound sensitivity, and pacing patterns in conjunction with meticulous observation of focal behaviour. Veterinary observation corroborates the animal’s division of attention. Ears and teeth are examined during the phase of curiosity. Palpations of the abdomen and examination of joints are performed in a state of complete relaxation. Pet owners are asked to note slight changes in behavior, such as where the pet lies down in the house and how it approaches meal times, along with increased activity by doors or soft surfaces. Aledo Veterinary Clinic also offers age-adjusted physical examinations, gastrointestinal and endocrine stabilization treatment routines and both pre-surgery preparation and post-operative reflection analysis. Depending on the pet’s temperament and the owner’s availability, appointments can either be performed in one session or split into two. Medical staff assess the pets’ behavioral readiness to prioritize tasks (instead of checklists) by watching for pace and touch limits. Families receive unnatural briefings about their pets’ daily patterns, such as specific symptoms at various times and what happens after the stimulation stops or when the pet tries to rebalance itself. Text check-ins, pacing charts, and timelines can be adjusted accordingly to ensure follow-up implementation remains centered on the pet’s perceived experience during care as opposed to only meeting clinical standards. Aledo Veterinary Clinic assists Aledo families and those throughout Illinois by targeting the natural way pets live in real homes. Some of the popular services at the hospital are livestock/farm animal services, dental care, vaccinations, boarding, and nutritional counseling. The facility is committed to offering fully customized and professional care. Thanks to the open communication and high standards of service, pet owners can be sure their pets’ health issues are in safe hands whether it concerns a regular wellness plan or a complex health issue. The team is always dedicated to growth and community involvement to ensure that pets in Aledo and across the United States get the quality care they deserve.

My last visit to this vet was in 2008. He seemed disinterested in discussing the health of my animal (a goat kid). He didn't listen to the symptoms I described or the measures I'd taken. He assumed I was ignorant of everything from normal temperature to SQ injections to tube feeding. He essentially told me that the goat was good as dead and refused to do anything more than send me home with a vitamin b shot. He was not helpful in the least. I did manage to pull the goat kid through on my own (she is now my best milker). Thank goodness for the literature I'd managed to find from those with experience online! This man spoke to me as though I weren't worth his time and any information I presented him with was worthless. I never wasted another dime at that clinic. I still get very upset thinking of how he spoke to me & how close I came to losing my doeling. I am SO glad to have found an excellent large & small animal vet. The clinic is half an hour farther away (Roseville), but the doctors are willing to take time to listen to symptoms & take time to make appropriate diagnoses. I do want to mention that the kind and courteous office staff are the only reason I gave this clinic an extra star. I sure hope he treats them better than the customers!Read Less
