Servicing the needs of Lake, McHenry, Northern Kane, and Northwest Cook counties. We are a full service clinic. Our clinic was founded on the principle of providing the highest quality medical and surgical care to pets in Algonquin, Barrington, Carpentersville, Lake In The Hills, Crystal Lake and other surrounding areas. Dr. Linda E. Lapin and the staff at APVC strive for a practice culture that fulfills the veterinary expectations of pet owners who consider their pets valued family members.
Here at APVC we are happy to treat dogs, cats and pocket pets (rabbits, gerbils, hamsters, rats, etc...) Dr. Lapin opened APVC in May of 2001 after leaving her practice in Barrington. For four years the practice was housed in a store front in East Algonquin while it grew to allow the new facility at 1324 Ryan Parkway, just off of Algonquin Road, east of the Fox River. We work to protect and promote the well being of animals by providing the most complete medical and surgical care supported by current veterinary medical research. Dr. Lapin, Dr. Green, Jen, Kim, Diane, and K.K. welcome all questions regarding your pets care and well being. We look forward to meeting you and your pet!

Very friendly! They stayed open on a Saturday to look at my bunny who was bleeding (turned out to be a split nail) and were so kind. The veterinarian there also took the time to make sure I was feeding my bunnies the right diet and gave me an informational sheet for me to refer to. Great service, just a little pricey compared to my regular vet I take my bunnies to which is why I gave them 4 stars instead of 5.

Last night we brought in our Ginger whom had some significant health issues. The entire staff was extremely informative and supportive. We ended up making the very difficult decision to have her put down. However having the information we needed helped with the process. I've been going to All Paws for about 10 years and I can confidently say they are the best. Dr. Lapin, Dr. Green and the entire staff are great and treat my dog as if it was their own. The exams are thorough and they always answer any questions or concerns without ever making me feel "rushed".

Kept goin in to see them then gave more prescribed food with grain and dog kept throwing up. I kept saying he has a grain intolerance and lady wouldn't listen she said it's rare for dogs to have that and I'm like well maybe he's the rare one. I stopped giving him the food and I bought grain free food and he is healthy as can be. Took him for a flu shot and said he needed all other shots also I said he is up to date and said well our records show its not. So they called old vet and got Everythin and who was right again I was. So said ok flu shot is 30.00 I go to leave and poor lady at reception who is middle man said 80.00 im like umm she said 30.00. So she went to back and the nurse said I said 150 was total and I said no u said 150 would of been for all the shots and it ended with sorry for miscommunication..... Never goin here again.

We have found that Dr. Linda and her staff have created a veterinary clinic that is not only extremely capable of handling the health of many different types of animals, but also tend to the families considered their loved ones. We have gone to this clinic for several years, and Dr Linda has always gone above and beyond. When my husband was in the hospital, she kept our Little Bob who was suffering from seizures...toting him back and forth from her home to the pet clinic and then with her while she volunteered at an emergency clinic for 2 weeks. She took care of Mr. Bob his entire life, after another animal hospital said he was not ill and denied he was even having seizures. Little Bob was called to the Rainbow Bridge at the age of almost 16, and she took care of him then also, with respect and love, crying along with us as we lost our precious little one. They have worked with us on payments and have kept costs as low as possible, while never slighting our little one's care. We will always recommend her and her facility as we love them all. All Paws Clinic with Dr. Linda and her staff are one in a million.

Took our newly adopted pup here a few weeks back as a recommendation from the shelter we adopted from. The initial visit went as expected, nothing special to note. My concern about this place stems from a follow-up phone call we made, regarding the condition of our dog. We found out some new information regarding a possible health concern from the person who had fostered him the previous few weeks. This information would have been pertinent for the doctor to know, so that he could be treated properly. A phone call was made and a message left with the receptionist, who stated the doctor would call back later that day. Guess what...no call back. In fact, we never received a call back from this place, not the following day or day after that.My wife called approximately 4 days later to cancel the follow-up appointment that was scheduled after the initial visit. The receptionist happily asked how our new dog was doing. When my wife mentioned we went to see a different doctor, who actually treated his condition, the receptionist gave an unpleasant "OK" and hung up. Talk about a complete 180...Of all places I would expect this to happen, a vetrinary clinic is probably one of the last.

We started to see Dr. Lapin recently for our two dogs. Our oldest unfortunately passed away soon after, but Dr. Lapin made her as comfortable as possible and gave us all the time we needed in her office to say our goodbyes. We are grateful to have found her and will continue to see her for our other dog's needs. The hours are very convinient (has evening and Sat appts) and a very clean, modern office. The office is a gem!

She knows her medicine, and she has kept our Dog in good health. Also, she recently moved into a new building, that was far better than her last one.

Very friendly! They stayed open on a Saturday to look at my bunny who was bleeding (turned out to be a split nail) and were so kind. The veterinarian there also took the time to make sure I was feeding my bunnies the right diet and gave me an informational sheet for me to refer to. Great service, just a little pricey compared to my regular vet I take my bunnies to which is why I gave them 4 stars instead of 5.

We are grateful to have found her and will continue to see her for our other dog's needs. The hours are very convinient (has evening and Sat appts) and a very clean, modern office. Dr. Lapin is the best veterinarian I've ever had. She is extremely knowledgeable and competent. She is compassionate and caring toward animals and their owners. Dr. Lapin always takes the time and patience to carefully explain health issues to pet owners. She is wonderful with the animals. My dog actually loves coming to see her.

My dog has a lot of health problems in the past, and we moved here, just one year ago. Thankgoodness we got lucky, and went to Dr Lapin's office first, here in Algonquin. She is so caring. She knows her medicine, and she has kept our Dog in good health. Also, she recently moved into a new building, that was far better than her last one.
