They may be a little more expensive than some other animal hospitals/ vets in area, but worth it for knowledge of Doctors (especially Dr. Marras (spelling?). She won't run up bill on unnecessary tests and such. She is open, honest and great to deal with! Read Less

My friend with a pup close in age to ours recommended this place HIGHLY. After going to Animal Care Clinic for a while (which I truly had a great experience at) our sweet girl Caribou just had too persistent of digestion issues. We had gotten stool samples, anti-diarrhea meds, and special diets from our old vet but no improvement. I decided to give Dundee Animal Hospital a try because my friend said they were great about individual attention and they were extremely caring and good at following up. They impressed me from the first visit and haven't stopped impressing me. Dr. Kelly Cavanough was amazing with my dog and me right from the start. She gave her a very thorough exam, had read through her previous history enough to know how many days she was on her previous meds (WOW) and was so patient with all my questions. We did another stool test and began treatment right away. I got $40 off with their online coupon for being a new customer, and my friend got $20 to her account for recommending me (bonus!!). The prices are definitely higher than Animal Care Clinic, but you truly get what you pay for. It is a totally different experience. It turns out Caribou had a parasite and so we picked up some more meds. I received a very kind follow up call from Dr. Cavanough to make sure I understood the new meds and to see how she was doing. Everything about this place is fantastic. It's clean, smells nice, free dog bandanas, the reception staff are all so professional and nice, and the vets are clearly top notch. I would like to Thank Dr. Anne Grott who was able to help with my poof doggie Jade who has been suffering with blood shot eyes, itching, ears, eyes, nose, and her crying in pain. I had taken her in and got different things for her ears even though I explained all of the symptoms, and they didn't work :( I was getting tired of taking her in, so I gave her benadryl which really didn't help her much. She was still crying, itching, blood shot eyes. I hate taking her to the vet she hates going, I have to carry her in there. They are nice and understanding however its been a nightmare for her. **GREAT NEWS*As of 12/22/2016..since she saw Dr. Anne Grott, who I explained everything too, gave me ointment for her eyes, and pills for her allergies, so she is getting better, since the last 1 1/2 years of suffering. Thank you so much! She is getting better, if anything, I will have to continue on a regular basis. Dundee Animal Hospital is like family, from taking great care of my exotic pets when I was a kid to helping me through the recent loss of my beloved dog Sufi they are truly one of a kind. Dr. O'Brien has always been there and provided support and guidance above and beyond a veterinarians normal line of work (a phone call, a friendly voice sympathetic to the circumstances and explained what happened after my pet was too sick to make it to Dundee from Naperville). I just received a note that Dundee Animal Hospital made a donation in memory of Sufi to help with companion animal research and service at UofI's college of veterinary medicine. We had to put our dog down recently. The entire staff was very professional and understanding. There was no waiting in the lobby. All the paperwork work was done ahead of time so we wouldn't have to wait in the lobby after the procedure. The vet explained everything, answered questions and did not rush the process or rush us out. It's a hard choice but this facility made it go as smooth as possible.
