0 stars. Read me out.....Horrible experience here. I lost my cat and it didn’t need to happen. I don’t have the money or energy to bring them to court otherwise I would. Not only that but they are very unprofessional to say the least. Most of their pricing is ridiculous. And to top it all off, even if your bill is over 2 grand- this is one of those places that if your animal dies for any reason they tack on an extra 200 bucks and say it is a cremation fee when all vets have a crematorium anyways. Please, I beg everyone to never ever bring your pet here. Ever, for any reason. Check ALL reviews elsewhere for every vet, including this one. I wouldn’t doubt if they used a “reputation repair” for many reviews because no one I’ve spoken to at any other animal hospital has anything good to say about them. Don’t take my word for it, call around. Also, No doctor is there more than a week. Gee I wonder why, and this is a largely staffed vet with many employees. It’s should be called “Money Over Care Animal hospitable”! Read Less

I have been taking five of my dogs to Care Animal Hospital for 33 years. Everybody there is so so friendly and helpful. They get you in really soon and examine your dogs or cats very carefully and fix the problem that you brought the animals in for.. I especially like that they are open 7 days a week for emergencies and or convenience. Even at night time you can bring your dog in at all hours and just ring the doorbell and they will be there for you. I highly recommend this place to anybody for the new puppy or dog. Great place.! I took my dog in because she has a lump on her front shoulder and is limping. Dr. Haase did an x-ray and biopsy and diagnosed her with cancer. I indicated that my husband and I would need to discuss our options. I replied to his email that we would not be doing surgery or chemo, but asked several questions.... symptoms going forward ? pain meds to be prescribed, to keep her comfortable. I have not received a reply back. I also left a message with the woman that answered the phone. No reply. I wonder if I had replied back that we wanted to proceed with surgery if I would've gotten a reply. Very disappointed !!!! This doctor came highly recommended, as well. Read Less

Great for emergency visits. Took my dog in after it was attacked by a much larger dog during late evening. Thankfully the injuries were minor. While the staff is very attentive, and the good side is they prepare you for the MANY tests and pricing previous to the exam. Always seems excessive. I'm not a vet, but well educated. My opinion is they over prescribe. Always leaving with a bag full of medication, which they are happy to sell you. On this particular visit they TOTALLY missed a burst blood vessel in my dog's eye, caused by the compression of his head inside the other dog's mouth. I saw it as we were checking out and brought it to the vets attention. They took him back in but not before giving me another list of tests & pricing. In an emergency, we will be back, but will go to our regular vet for routine / non urgent visits. Read Less

My dogs have always had the top of the line care from Care Animal Hospital. The vets are competent, skilled, empathetic, and kind. My family used them since our first dog in 2003, through to his passing in 2014. Dr. Feltes helped our family though the two weeks of his decline until we lost him. She was always very professional and compassionate. Since then, I've adopted another dog and she's been usually seeing Dr. McReynolds. She's another standout vet and I'm grateful to have her. After losing my boy there, I thought it would be too difficult to return. My family had moved and there were closer vets. I tried maybe 2 other vets whose answers I was not satisfied with. I knew my puppy well enough to tell she was not just being "dramatic" and took her to Care Animal Hospital. We saw Dr. McReynolds who examined my little girl and determined the pain was caused by another matter. We treated the other matter, and almost immediately she was doing much better. She is now 3 years old and happy as can be. We have also seen Dr. Haas and Dr. Park and they are also spectacular. I will keep going to Care because the quality of their vets is top notch. Read Less

I use to love this hospital and its staff they have fantastic doctors who treated all my pets with care and responsibility. Today was the first time I wanted to take my dog and run. Not only was the morning staff rude on the phone but the doctor, who I now know to be the owner of the hospital, David Aul, made me feel so uncomfortable. I was there the day before and met with Chris Lin and he was spectacular. He really cared about my dogs well being. There is a tumor on my dogs chest. It's most likely harmless but Dr. Lin suggested a Biopsy to make sure because depending on the results would depend on what sort of surgery to have. Then I met Dr Aul. He came in and decided it's fine. I explained it causes him pain and he then said we should just remove it and testing would be pointless because he can "tell" based on looking I guess. I found that shocking and the sign of a Lazy Veterinarian who would rather assume then take the extra steps to ensure my dogs well being. He had zero bedside manor and made me feel like a customer. Not a patient. I have been bringing my pets here for almost 10 years now. I will now have to decide if I wish to continue and just make sure to never see the owner or change all together. I love so many of the other doctors. That's why I couldn't give this a 1 star. But I never want David Aul near my pets again and I'm appalled by the way we were treated. Read Less

Fur-baby parents beware! I've been taking my 2 year old dachshund mix here since I got him when he was 4 weeks old. His initial round of shots went well, and we came a few times in-between for some minor things, then a year later we returned for his same yearly vaccinations. This was a HUGE mistake and I should have talked to the many friends I have who stated that this place is no good before returning here. There's a male vet there that has no idea what he's doing. My puppy started throwing up about 10 minutes after we got home from the yearly vaccination trip, so I took him back. When I took him back into the office, the doctor pretty much shrugged his shoulders at me and told me he will give him an anti-nausea shot and sent us on our way. Then, 20 minutes into the car ride home, my 12 pound dog started breaking out into gumball sized hives. I immediately freaked out and raced back into the office. Upon arrival, there was NO one at the front desk, so I had to scream for someone to come help. The assistant/vet tech then took her time taking us back to a room where I waited 10 minutes for the vet to come in. Mind you, this is all while the golf ball sized hives are growing and my puppy's crying is continuing to get louder. The vet finally walked in and specifically admitted to me that he shouldn't have sent my dog home without a more thorough examination and simply said "sorry" and then proceeded to tell me stories about dogs in their office who have died because of certain reactions to vaccines. He had to end up staying there for 4-6 hours for observation after they gave him a benadryl shot. As we went to pick him up, the rude receptionist had the NERVE to tell me that I'd have to pay $300 for the shot and observation. REALLY?!?! You think I'm going to pay for your incompetent employees to watch my dog for a few hours when you messed up?! Absolutely not. I wouldn't wish this experience on my worst enemy. My puppy, who is from wright way animal rescue, is a total sweetheart and has NEVER bitten anyone but for some reason they have "will bite" all over his chart and he cries almost every time we pull up to the clinic. It's probably because they do who knows what to the poor animals in their back room. Very unfortunate, you couldn't pay me to return here. Read Less
