First time, staff was super, very friendly and all, not just one staff member, but all were helpful, kind to me and my 17 yr old cat, Jupiter. Surprisingly, other patrons were quite friendly as well. Dr. Withers greeted us as if we had known ea other for years. He handled my old boy with care and gentleness. I'm guessing there won't be enough room here to sing all the praises they deserve. When you have three dogs and three cats finding a good vet is essential. We were so fortunate to have found Eola Point. We have been taking our animals here for well over five years, and Dr. Withers and Dr. Rybicki are wonderful and very much animal lovers. We have never felt that their focus was on anything other than what is best for our animals. Their prices are very reasonable, and service is way better, especially when compared to some of the larger animal hospitals in the Naperville area. We visited for the first time to have a pet put down. The staff was extremely friendly and compassionate toward us as we were grieving our new loss. They explained everything every step of the way so we didn't have any surprises as we went through and witnessed our pets last moments. Our dog Rocky has had Dr Withers as a vet since he was a puppy. He is knowledgeable, genuinely cares about dogs, and overall is an amazing vet. It's a further drive for us after moving to Yorkville but we would drive ten times further to have have our dogs see such wonderful vets. We would recommend them to anyone! Dr. Withers and staff have provided excellent and compassionate care for both our 13 year old Shih Tzu, Buddy who developed trachea collapse after contracting the canine influenza in Spring of 2015 as well as Bill, our daughter's 2 year old rescue Terrier mix. I have to post this! This company is the definition of Excellent Service and CARE! I called in about 2 weeks ago to make an appt for my 2 yr old dog who I thought had a growth of some sort. I had to change the appt which the staff was so accommodating about and then the day of the appt I called in bc I was home early from work and they were able to take us earlier. I get to the appt and a scab falls off from where the "growth" was, Dr. Withers takes a look at it and check around her body for any others and says "We don't need any antibiotics, it's a small puncture possibly from playing with her 'brother', no need for antibiotics... and No Charge for today". I was amazed! The fact that I took up an appt slot, called in to re-schedule the first appt, and then have Dr. Withers check the 'growth' ALL FOR NO CHARGE shows that EPAH is a true caregiving veterinary service! I sincerely want to thank Dr. Withers and Dr. Rybicki for taking the time personally call and speak to me about re-testing Olivia for heartworm. While I have been bringing Olivia to your clinic the last 5 years for check-ups, vaccinations and heart worm preventative, having the personalized communication regarding her health and test results really resonates with me. Olivia is such a special member of our family, we always want what is best for her. When she was diagnosed earlier in the summer with hermangiosarcoma, both of you were very kind and supportive during her surgery and recovery. You took the time to explain options, treatment and best case scenario. I have never had this level of trust and confidence with a veterinary clinic before. I am so glad that I made a change to bring Olivia to see both of you. I credit Dr. Withers for saving our dachshund Mona's life when she contracted Ieptosporosis before the disease was as common as it is now. He had the wherewithal to diagnose it and treat it aggressively. The staff is so patient, understanding and just great with our scared/nervous rescue dachshund, Ginger. Everyone in the office demonstrates genuine care for all three of our dogs. We've moved from the area and we wouldn't even think about taking them anywhere else. I've been going to Dr. Withers for over 17 yrs now, we've had to say goodbye to 4 of our pets over that time, and just recently thought we were going to lose our Border Chloe but he performed surgery and we still have her with us. I like them, but think they are trying to make the most money for bragging rights. I had to take each of my cats seperately in many several times until I guessed and guided them into what my guys had. If that is the case, why did I pay all of that money? My experience started out great. The staff was great. I saw Dr. Rybicki & she was very knowledgeable & helpful. BEWARE...if you ask any sort of follow up questions regarding pricing or treatments, you will be sent a letter telling you to find a new vet. I saw Dr. Withers for an emergency visit. He was very helpful and prescribed medicine & a treatment plan. Weeks later when we found out our puppy had giardia, I contacted the office to find out if that's what she had been treated for before or if was something else. No one ever responded to any of my calls & two weeks later I received a letter in the mail with a copy of my records telling me to find a new vet where I would be happier. I figured there must have been some sort of mistake and called to clear up the confusion. From that point on, the staff was extremely rude and said they they thought I would be happier elsewhere since I seem to have an issue with the way the vet treated my pet. I tried to explain I just had a question because I couldn't remember what my pet had been treated for and I hadn't been dissatisfied or anything, but it didn't matter. I never actually received any real reason, they just repeated the same b.s. excuses over and over that it was the doctor's decision. Dr. Withers refused to call me back (Dr. Rybicki was out on vacation). Had a random staff member call me to say to stop calling unless I needed any more copies of records. She also said that since I had a history of issues with the office that they were ""done with me."" Apparently the verifying of a price pushed them over the edge. I just CANNOT believe this is how they would handle their customers there. Apparently Dr. Withers has such an inflated ego that he gets offended by any sort of question and bans you from returning. DO NOT GO HERE! What kind of doctor does this? And I wasn't even questioning his treatment, just couldn't remember the disease he mentioned. WATCH OUT! Read Less

I have been taking my dogs there for years. I feel everytime I go there I feel as though I am being price gouged for my animals. I witnessed this with someone else today that they tried to get him to get a test the dog didn't need. They are not timely in service and I feel that when there is a real problem they are slow to fix the issues not explaining what is wrong with your animal. I wouldn't recommend them to anyone. The vets and the staff at Eola Point Animal Hospital give caring, accurate and reasonably priced veterinary care to all of my pets for the last 5 years. Dr. Withers saved my pug Dottie from heartworm disease. Both of the vets were very compassionate when my cat developed cancer and I needed to let him go. They're actually happy to see my cats and dogs and remember each of them.
