Our dog had a sore foot. Dr very gentle in examining her. Nothing serious found, but meds prescribed & she felt better quickly

DO NOT GO HERE! I just took my dog here today and said I only wanted vaccines, no exam. I ended up getting charged for an exam after the receptionist didn't want to tell me my total. When I called back asking why I got charged she said it is mandatory. I said Dr. Bob Loeding never gave my dog a exam. She put me on hold to come back and tell me the vet said he looked at her ears, teeth, and eyes. None of that ever happened!!! I got charged $28.10 for a service I never received!!!! I will NEVER go back!

The best Vet Clinic EVER! We are transplants to Belvidere but have been living in Belvidere about 12 years. I am always amazed that our animals have always received top notch care for a price that is completely reasonable. We came from an area where just walking through the door of the vet was going to cost a couple hundred dollars. Never once has State Street made me feel taken and they have always given my dog the best and in one case life saving care. Dr. Dan is my dogs favorite and Chris is not too far behind. My dog goes crazy happy when she goes to the vet. I would never even consider taking my pets any place else.

I recently came to State Street Animal Clinic when I had to make the hard choice of if it was time to put my best friend down. Not only did the vet and his staff do everything he could to help her get better, they were very comforting and supportive when I decided it was her time. I can not express how happy I was with the how they handled such a hard experience for me.

We recently moved to the area and needed a vet for our two dogs. Our realtor recommended State Street Animal Clinic. We have taken our dogs there for everything from checkups and nails, to surgical procedures. All the doctors are great. Everyone is always very friendly and welcoming. I would recommend them to anyone looking for a new vet.

We took our cat there today to see Dr. Chris & am so happy we did! What a wonderful place & a wonderful Dr. Had recently moved here from WI w/3 cats & didn't know where to go, 1st went to Belvidere Family Pet, did not care for either vet there AT ALL!! They should at least PRETEND to like animals. So glad I found State Street Animal Clinic, spent lots of time w/us, did a thorough exam, & very reasonable priced.

The best Vet Clinic EVER! We are transplants to Belvidere but have been living in Belvidere about 12 years. I am always amazed that our animals have always received top notch care for a price that is completely reasonable.
