Dr. Schale is a caring, informative, honest, doctor. Takes time to answer all my questions. When my dog needed a cancerous tumor removed, he told me it would be difficult & he didn't have enough experience with this type of tumor, then referred me to a specialist. He put my dog's health 1st.

I brought my rescue cat in & the Vet stood there & talked the whole time & didnt even examine my cat's teeth or anything else, to see if it was healthy or not... He also said he would "give" me flea c...
I brought my rescue cat in & the Vet stood there & talked the whole time & didnt even examine my cat's teeth or anything else, to see if it was healthy or not... He also said he would "give" me flea control treatment, which cost over $100 when I checked out...very misleading...(he never asked me-just gave the one flea treatment), so I would have to buy the whole pkg...never told me the price either...All they wanted was $ and another appointment!

I changed from Banfield to Buffalo Grove Animal Hospital. Dr. Sally was wonderful. She and Darota (Dorothy) were extremely compassionate during this difficult time. I was overwhelmed by the situation, and truly appreciated the support I was given. Thank you. I will be bringing my other cat there going forward.

About six months ago we made the switch to Dr. Schaele at Buffalo Grove Animal Hospital for our 10 year old lab. This was easily the best decision we made for our dog...and for us. I wish I would ha...
About six months ago we made the switch to Dr. Schaele at Buffalo Grove Animal Hospital for our 10 year old lab. This was easily the best decision we made for our dog...and for us. I wish I would have known about him years ago! He treats our dog like he's one of his own, and I've never experienced such great care for any of our pets. I highly recommend BG Animal Hospital.

Terrible front desk customer service. Sweet doctor (Dr Sally). We walked in and the front desk attendants didn't acknowledge or greet us warmly. My wife and I almost walked out before being taken back...
Terrible front desk customer service. Sweet doctor (Dr Sally). We walked in and the front desk attendants didn't acknowledge or greet us warmly. My wife and I almost walked out before being taken back to see the doctor; we both had a really bad first impression. On the way out, the front desk attendants were bickering at each other regarding how to print out documents properly. Even when I said thank you before walking out, my gesture was ignored without any response. If we go back, it will only be because of Dr Sally. 1 star for the front desk staff. 5 stars for Dr Sally.

Thank you Dr. Keister and Ashley!! I called this morning to make an urgent appt because my golden badly hurt his paw pads. They took me in right away and helped me get my dog inside since I had to car...
Thank you Dr. Keister and Ashley!! I called this morning to make an urgent appt because my golden badly hurt his paw pads. They took me in right away and helped me get my dog inside since I had to carry my 7 month old baby! They were beyond nice and amazing with helping me and taking care of my furry baby!! A big thank you to the other vet assistant whom I didn't catch the name, but she also came out to the car with my dog to help me. It's a small hospital but the care I have received always exceeds my expectations. You guys are the best!!!

I cannot say enough great things about Dr. Keister and the rest of the staff at BGAH. Both my kitten and I were immediately put at ease knowing we were in great hands. They've got all the skills of talented veterinarians with a bedside manner that is unparalleled. They love animals and it shows. If you've got a sick pet, this is the place to go.

Dr. Schale is a caring, informative, honest, doctor. Takes time to answer all my questions. When my dog needed a cancerous tumor removed, he told me it would be difficult & he didn't have enough experience with this type of tumor, then referred me to a specialist. He put my dog's health 1st.

Terrible front desk customer service. Sweet doctor (Dr Sally). We walked in and the front desk attendants didn't acknowledge or greet us warmly. My wife and I almost walked out before being taken back to see the doctor; we both had a really bad first impression. On the way out, the front desk attendants were bickering at each other regarding how to print out documents properly. Thank you Dr. Keister and Ashley!! I called this morning to make an urgent appt because my golden badly hurt his paw pads. They took me in right away and helped me get my dog inside since I had to carry my 7 month old baby! They were beyond nice and amazing with helping me and taking care of my furry baby!!
