I had Yorkshire terrier, something was going on with her. She felt week before I went to vet. But it was not that high maybe 1 feet. I had appointment with one doctor. She told me that it sore muscle, and she gives my dog pain relief for 7 days, then she told me if she is not felling better come back. So day passed and at the night we went to the emergency room because my dog was dying. And they told me that she has a big problem inside of her head. They given me invoice but ...we did not wanted to pay they the whole amount because they were not giving any guaranty that they will help her and that she will be alive. They given her medicine and we came home and on the morning she had seizure. We took her back to country court animal hospital, and the other doctor checked her and she said it liver problems, they took her for the whole day, I was calling mAny times and doctor was sure of her self that it liver, and told they were giving medicines and feeding her. But when I came to take her home they given me big number invoice, and she told me that it not liver, and yes something in brain. So they carry her over to me and was like a toy not moving at all, and she had seizure in front of doctor and she did not help, I ask for medicine to take hope she said that she not giving any. So when I brought dog to them she was alive and when I took home she was a toy. I am so upset that I brought dog to that place. And I waited till morning and found out that my dog died, and two doctors could not help her . They new that she will die, and just charging money for their business. Dr. Jan takes amazing care of our two rabbits. It's not easy to find a vet that treats rabbits with the same respect and care that a cat or a dog receives. The staff is very friendly and courteous so it's always a pleasure to bring the girls in for the semi-annual checkups. I definitely recommend the staff and doctors here! Read Less

What can I say, I've taken all my pets there for over 21 years now. They know us well. Always available for emergencies, and understand that there is a balance between what people can afford and what is absolutely needed for a pet versus what they would like you to do. I can't say enough good things about Dr. Block and Country Court. We had to put down our beloved 15 year old cat for kidney and pancreatic trouble. After she  explained the other options for treatment to prolong his life and what was involved, euthanasia seemed the kindest. She was professional, kind, caring and gentle. Everyone was great. We were offered options for treatments to prolong his life but after much deliberation, we felt they were too stressful to put him thru and chose euthanasia. Couldn't have been done better. Our friend has been with Dr. Block for over ten years and said that Dr. Block is exceptionally good with small dogs and very thorough with her visits, taking time to answer all questions. We found Dr. Block was indeed thorough. She was very friendly and gave us some useful tips for our dog's behavior issues. The staff was also nice.We have difficulty finding good vets who care about our dogs as much as we do and had some negative experiences with other vets, so we're very happy we found Dr. Block. Their office has an e-mail, which is a good sign, since most vets and doctors for people refuse to use e-mail for their practices, This animal hospital is in a run down strip mall. Although the outside looks shabby and there wasn't designated wheelchair accessible, the inside was nice and wheelchair accessible. Read Less

I have been taking my goldendoodle to Country Court since she was a puppy -- and have been extremely happy with her care there. I've seen all three vets over the years -- and while their styles differ -- they are each caring and concerned about the welfare of my dog. I have never felt that they were pushing me toward expensive tests. In fact, when I've brought my dog in with minor GI problems -- they've suggested we start with conservative treatment and see if she gets better (she always does). I feel confident with the care they provide -- and the vets are always happy to answer questions (I never feel as though I'm being rushed). Overall -- I think Country Court is a fantastic place to take your pet for compassionate and excellent care. Read Less

I love this place. I have been taking my pug here since we got him on a recommendation of a friend.She said that this place was the best and that they have the most affordable care. She was right. We love Dr. Dornhoff. She is so sweet and compassionate. She takes her time and you can tell she loves fur babies. She answers all your questions and makes you understand everything. I also love the reminders they send out and I have always had a good experience with the front desk. I can always get in for an appointment too, which is a bonus. We brought our two poodles to see Dr. D today. They both had stomach issues. My fur babies were treated like royalty, with care and affection. The doc spent more time with us than I have ever received at a human doctor. She spent the time to get to know the pups and my daughter and I as well. I had to put down a pet yesterday, and it was incredibly sad and painful for me. Dr. Dornhoff was the most caring and compassionate Doctor I could have asked for to help me through this.We went through the different options. She made each outcome clear, and let me make my own decision. At that point, she helped me feel at peace with what I chose. She was also incredibly comforting when I was a very vulnerable/embarrassing emotional mess.I took him here when he was a young guy as well, and she was equally kind and helpful.This place is fantastic in good times, and bad. I have been bringing my dogs to Dr.Block for 6 years. I cannot say enough good things about her and everyone there!!! Dr.Block is extremely smart, dedicated, thorough and beyond understanding and patient. After my dog got diagnosed with diabetes I struggled with finding a vet that could finally help me manage her diabetes without going in debt to do it. Finding Dr.Block 6 years ago was the a huge blessing. Because of her my diabetic dog lived a full life to 15 and a half years old. Her understanding on the subject is amazing!!! Country Court Hospital has the BEST Veterinary Doctors and great staff who are very dedicated of taking care of my 2 Soft Coat Wheaten Terriers, Gummy Bear and Miles. They treat their furry patients with so much care and love. I personally thank Dr. Lewis who recently checked and treated my Boys. I felt very confident, well informed, and knowledgeable on how to handle my Boys till they get better. We have taken our dog here for check- ups, medical concerns and boarding since he was a pup.  They are thorough but can be pricey.  The front desk staff is slow but they are friendly.  Dr. Lewis is our favorite, she is empathetic, patient and gentle. We found Dr. Dornhoff  rude and condescending.  We are neutral about Dr. Block, nothing really stands out.  Out of all 3 Vets I would recommend Dr. Lewis, she even goes out of her way to call after hours to check to see how our dog is doing (if there is some kind of medical issue).  Additionally, we board our dog here on regular basis and can say it's very smooth.  My dog is the happiest being boarded here than any place else.  The Vet techs are great and really take the crown. We have used CCAH ever since we got our now 3 year old labrador. Fortunate he only needed his annual shots. Last week we took our 8 week old rescue adopt puppy as he kept vomiting, having diarrhea, loss of apitite and not wanting to drink anything. They performed several test and send us away with some medication. Bill was $297.28. The following day his symptoms got worse so we called and they wanted to see him again. Ran more blood test and x-rays and some injections but could not conclude a diagnosis. Total bill for this visit was $322 dollars. So total bill for this little guy is now $600+We informed the rescue agency that we adopted from and they requested we go to their assigned vet in Des Plaines. The doctor their did 1 simple Parvo test and unfortunately it turned out that he has the Parvo disease. So regardless of the money we spend, they could not think about performing a Parvo test. We've been reading up on Parvo and all the symptoms he had when we took him in should have raised a big red flag for Parvo. Needless to say we will not go back to CCAH.In case you are wondering, despite the 80% mortality rate, our little guy is doing well. He's all skin and bones but doctors say he will survive. This place charges a lot to do anything.  Our bunny had a growth under the chin and needed to drain the fluid.  And after our bunny stayed there overnight, his personality  totally changed. For quite a while he acted very scared and angry.  Really wonder what happened.If you have a bunny, you should really go to a hospital that specializes in treating "exotic animals". Read Less
