I have been with Blackhawk veterinary services for 16 years. All due to Dr. Julia Sugden and Dr. Kevin were willing to make extra effort in making my 8 week old Rottweiler healthy again after another clinic wanted to put her to sleep. Today early in the morning I had to bring my other Rottweiler , she is a special needs girl and the staff has taken extra good care to make her feel safe enough to run tests without having to knock her out. Early this morning I woke up to my puppy having a seizure. I took him here since it was the closest vet to my house and was pleasantly surprised by the service here. The staff is all very friendly, the office is clean and the doctor is very knowledgeable. He thoroughly checked out my puppy and provided me with a lot of useful information. We started taking our two goldens to Blackhawk when we moved to the area 11 years ago. We first went there because it was close by, but we return because of the great service. Whenever we call, the office team members have been very helpful. We have made a lot of visits and calls over the years and have always received good care. Dr Julia performed a tough surgery to give our George a better quality of life during his last year and Dr Kevin has had the tough job of helping both of our goldens make it to heaven when it was time. Blackhawk goes above and beyond to provide the best service and care possible. Currently they treat both my horse and my dogs, and I have never been more satisfied with veterinary services. My last few visits have been emergencies, and the staff has been most helpful and providing as much information as possible.
