Oh oh oh!!!! We are so THRILLED to have found DR. CLARK again! Well yes I rated her previous workplace and gave it a very high review...but we all know that what makes a business is not the brick and mortar but the people that run it.WE CARE about our pets. As of now we only have cats. I had a few sad and bad experiences in the past. No not at DuPage but another place..and you wouldn't believe me if I told you what a hospital did to my cat. It was shocking. Well ok, I'll say it here briefly. They BROKE my cat's leg, and DIDN'T even tell me. It was dangling when we got her home and took her out of her crate. Yes they had her in her crate waiting for us. HORRIBLE time..anyway...we FOUND an ANGEL..her name is DR. CLARK...I SWEAR...she really is one. This is the VET who is GENTLE and even handled one of our FERAL cats. She loves animals and it shows. I would follow her and am even though the DRIVE is FARTHER for us. If YOU WANT someone who will BE HONEST with a diagnosis AND NOT make up things just to CHARGE you extra...if you want someone who will truly CARE and make CORRECT diagnosis...she cured one of our cats who was almost dying...you NEED to visit Knoll and see Dr. Clark. PLUS the others there FOLLOW up WITH CONCERNING call backs to you. I am happy and hope it stays this way. If things change I would write back and say so. But we trust Dr. Clark 100%. Dr. Knoll and her entire staff are incredibly caring and helpful. They have cared for our two miniature Schnauzers since we got them, and another before that. No matter what the issue, they are always there to help with good advice and treatment for our pets. Excellent staff & service. You can really tell that they are staffed with animal lovers - they indulged my curious pup and gave him lots of pets! I started seeing Dr. Pecoraro about a year ago and am so pleased with their staff and service! I love that it is a small practice... wait times are not outrageous, they have been flexible in the past to fit me in same day when my cat was sick and I really appreciate that they usually put you right in a room upon arrival which means no waiting in the common area with barking dogs etc. which would make my cats even more nervous. You can tell Dr. Pecoraro truly truly loves animals. She treats my cats like her own whenever we come in. She is very throughout in her exam and I definitely trust her expertise. She is always honest and puts your pet's best interest first... for example, my cat's teeth were getting too much plaque buildup and she recommended I start brushing them with prescription toothpaste before scheduling a dental cleaning. A cleaning would definitely have been more expensive for me and an ordeal for my cat. In addition, she is very patient with me as a nervous owner especially when my cat had an infection and had to come back for a few repeat visits. She answers my never ending amount of questions and clearly explains what is going with your pet. They even have called a few days after our visit to check in and make sure my cat's condition was improving or if I had any more questions.Absolutely would recommend! My dog ate something she shouldn't have, and wasn't feeling very good. Of course, all the articles on Google were quite alarming. Although they had quite a few emergency cases, they were able to see her that day. All the staff were kind and caring. If I could give 20 stars I would! I do not even know where to begin to say how absolutely wonderful Dr. Pecoraro and her staff were to us yesterday! We had an appointment scheduled for her to come to our house to put down our dog Jake. There was an emergency with him and I called them right away-she was in the middle of surgery but I was told she could be at our house within 25 minutes-the compassion and calming that Dr. gave to us was just simply amazing-so calming to be with our dog Jake in his last moments and Dr. was with us and was just so compassionate and comforting-we will never forget this ever! We are both new pet owners and she has explained everything to us and reassured us that we are doing everything right. I cannot stress enough how wonderful Dr. Annjolyn and Countryside Animal Clinic have been to me. My hamster and I followed Dr. Annjolyn when she re-opened this practice, and I'm glad we did! He's always been comfortable with her, and she has always shown such warmth and genuine affection for him. When my little guy was near the end of his lifespan and not looking well, Dr. Annjolyn carefully examined him and asked me how far I wanted to go. She carefully explained everything that was going on, answered all of my questions (even the ridiculous ones), and then honestly advised that the best thing we could do is to make him comfortable. The most impressive part was the genuine care she expressed for me as his owner. I know it's just a pet, but she was very warm and made sure that I was going to be ok with the decisions that we made. I wasn't rushed at all, and I left knowing that we had made the right decision. The next morning, I received a phone call from the clinic just checking in to see how we were doing and if there was anything else that they could do to make my guy comfortable. The entire staff has been wonderful to us, particularly throughout what is always the hardest part of being a pet owner- the end.
