I have been taking my dogs to the Village Veterinary for several years and they are very caring and compassionate. Dr McGowan diagnosed my older dog, Sammy last summer with kidney disease and through the whole process has been wonderful. He even gave me his cell number so I could reach him anytime. When the difficult time came to put Sammy down Dr Primm was there and he was so caring and compassionate to Sammy and my family through the process. I wouldn't take my dogs anywhere but there. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

The best small animal clinic in Chatham, IL! We have used them for all our family pets in the last decade. Dr. Primm, Dr. McGowan & Dr. Rutager are super professional & care for each animal as if they were their own family member. I cannot say enough about their staff, employees have been there as long as we have been customers. They love their job & it shows! Last, free nail trims with exams.

We have used the Village Vet throughout two of our pets lives. We have but one word - phenomenal! Dr. Primm is a compassionate and caring vet who makes sure you understand all that is going on with your pet. In our opinion, he goes above and beyond for not only your pet but you as well. I recommend the Village Vet to anyone who asks where we takes our pets.

My daughter rushed to take her beloved Lulu to the vet this morning. She was turned away by Chatham Veterinary Clinic and told she could get in next week. She ran to The Village Veterinarian where she was welcomed, treated with love and respect and told her Lulu would not be ok. She called and I left work to rush there. Dr. Nick Primm and his staff were amazing, wonderful thoughtful and so kind!! They have my business for life!! Thank you for caring and helping us make an awful decision!! As painful as it was to say good bye you all made it so much easier

Where do I start? First off I'd give 10 stars if I could. We took our mini dachshund Sampson last Saturday full expecting to have to put him to sleep. He had severe back issues and just wasn't doing well at all. Dr. Primm gave us an option and hope and today our little Sammy is doing so much better! He even called us mid week and checked on him. So thankful for the care they give all the animals that come to them but particularly for what he did for Sampson and our family.

I was very happy with the care my cat got from the staff and Dr. Nick Primm. This was my 1st visit to the village vet with Snooky. I received this 7 year old cat from a friend who died and left me her cat in her will. The village vet was highly recommended to me and I'm well pleased. I will highly recommend this veterinarian clinic to everyone.

We trust the folks at Village Vet with our dogs' lives--many times over. Dr. McGowan's surgical skills saved our beloved Finnegan from his indiscretions with fabric so that he actually managed to die of old age--a HUGE accomplishment! Our current three enjoy hopping in the truck to go to the vet because it's a good experience for them. Thanks, too, to the first-rate staff!!!

If you want to have Veterinarians who are there for you to ask "silly" questions; yet,don't ever make you think they are silly questions, then choose The Village Veterinarian!
If you want you and your little ones to be greeted with a smile and by name then choose The Village Veterinarian!
If you want to know that you will be worked in to see a Veterinarian at the last minute, if possible, because they know how important it is for you and your little one then choose The Village Veterinarian.
We really like the new sign!! They have the hometown touch, but keep up with the latest medical approaches for your little ones!

I have been taking my dogs to the Village Veterinary for several years and they are very caring and compassionate. Dr. Primm is a compassionate and caring vet who makes sure you understand all that is going on with your pet. In our opinion, he goes above and beyond for not only your pet but you as well. Where do I start? First off I'd give 10 stars if I could. We took our mini dachshund Sampson last Saturday full expecting to have to put him to sleep. He had severe back issues and just wasn't doing well at all. Dr. Primm gave us an option and hope and today our little Sammy is doing so much better! He even called us mid week and checked on him. I was very happy with the care my cat got from the staff and Dr. Nick Primm. This was my 1st visit to the village vet with Snooky. I received this 7 year old cat from a friend who died and left me her cat in her will. The village vet was highly recommended to me and I'm well pleased. I will highly recommend this veterinarian clinic to everyone.
