if i could give this place ZERO stars i would. lets start off with how incompetent the staff is. we have brought our dog in numerous times for check ups and shots, they then call us weeks later stating he needs the same shots etc. i have argued with them numerous times for not taking proper notes or documenting our pets records... just a few weeks ago we spent nearly 4 hours with our two pets.. just for them to deny his meds because he didnt get his heart warm done---- WHICH HE DID.... they just forgot to document and charge us.... again... very unprofessional... our dog has gotten the same meds TWICE due to their negligence... Dont get me wrong, Dr. Gil is a sweetheart and very friendly... but not enough for us to put our dogs in danger for negligence in behave of the staff. Read Less

#Go to Bronzville Animal Clinic Get Punked like Ashton Kushey# I took my new poodle (Ruffles) in to get a rabies shot and told them that he had his first shots 4 months prior from the previous owner. Tina the receptionist was nice but Dr Gill gave him his first shots all over again and no rabies. I left thinking that he had the rabies shot in Aug 2017. I took him to petco for grooming and found that he didnt. I took him back in Dec 2017 for the rabies shot and expressed to Tina I only wanted the rabies shot and my husband would bring him in. I asked for the cost before he took him there. To my surprise they gave him the three shots again and the rabies shot after my husband and I told them wr only wanted the rabies shot. Tina gave me a bill 4 times the price that I confirmed over the phone, and tried to convince me that it was my mistake??? She then said ok just pay for the rabies. My husband paid and asked for a receipt and copy of the shot record. Dr Gill said no problem she would not charge for the three shots and gave him an outstanding bill due for the 3 shots???. These people are not honest, and if you enjoy frustration and the "Moe, Larry and Curly run around" by all means you will be entertained. They seriously lack integrity and professionalism. I drove back to the office to remedy the bill. The receptionist lied and said Tina went home and she (Tina) later came out with a scarf wrapped over her head to cover her face. Dr Gill insulted me as if I didnt have the money to pay, and that she cares about my dog more than me?? Really.. She said "oh all you care about is grooming". I told her I wanted nothing more than the rabies shot and this is about the principle. Then she told me the for the 2nd time that they would take off the cost of the 3 other shots. The spanish speaking receptionist asked me to wait for the rabies tag and then said there was a computer glitch she could not take off the other shots??. And when she went in the back to look for Dr. Gill to help with the computer my husband (outside in the car) saw her leaving out of their 2nd door?? .I never got the rabies tag because they refuse to give it to me after I paid for the shot.. And at that time another receptionist came out to tell me Dr Gill went home..Wow...I thought that I was being punked on the Tv show. I wanted to keep my Christianity and sanity therefore I left. The vet and her staff are very knowledgeable and compassionate. I have been able to find an appointment when I needed to bring in my bird or cat every time. I highly recommend supporting this local business. Read Less

5stars. .  I was absolutely devastated when my rescue dog of 14 years passed away. I had just moved to the area and this was the closest place to bring her in that day. Thank god RACHEL was working that day. Not only was she beyond helpful... but the way she had comforted me.. hugged me.. helped us through the door as I carried my lost best friend of 14 years. I felt blessed to have crossed paths with her on that painful day.. It was such a hard day for us.. and she made it easier to deal with. The final.. "say goodbye."   About 2 weeks later I went to go get Ladybirds ashes... Not only did she surprise me with a beautiful frame and poem for my precious Ladybird.. which is something that brings me so much joy to wake up and see the frame by her photos everyday.. but also .. which made me breakdown..  A week after that when all was said and done.. RACHEL called me out of the blue and said.. "if you want to come in..  we have an imprint of Lady's paw print for you."  This was so great. Even if they did it with every dog or pet that passes...The way she surprised me with it.. as if all is done and then we have this beautiful gift to help with the healing.  It was a complete surprise. And so uplifting when I went to get it. I started crying to see her perfect paw print... WITH PERFECT DETAIL.    to me.. the little things count the most. That was one of the hardest days and moments I've had to go through. I was very fortunate to have Rachel help me through it.. the smile and heart filled moment I had when I held lady's paw print in my hands is irreplaceable. That's worth 5stars any day. Terrible I brought my dog in there sick and the doctor charged me for meds knowing she was dying she died the next day she died offer to give me my money back I will never come back and going to tell every dog owner in the neighborhood not to take there dog there as I'm ready I see some people had the same problem I'm so mad how do I get my money back !Read Less

I love this vet, today I had to take my guinea pig in last minute and the staff was super friendly and super patient with us and they didn't do anything before consulting us and they even gave us many good options on what to do. If I could give this place no stars, honestly I would. The staff is VERY unprofessional and have bad attitudes (Especially Britney). Dr. Gill practically convinced us for our dog to have surgery and she died a week later. I took her to the vet 3 days in a row, her staff gave me 3 different prices after complications post surgery. She honestly couldn't even read my dog's x-rays properly. Two days before my dog died, I brought her to the vet because my dog was panting and breathing rapidly - they drugged her up and said it was due to pain and it should stop within an hour. The breathing eventually never stopped so I opted for MedVet, to only find out my dog probably had kidney or liver failure DUE to the surgery, or her cancer had spread for not taking all of it out so I honestly believed she knew she would die, she wanted the money. To have the audacity of requiring us to pay for a surgery that killed my dog is ridiculous and I will NEVER advise anyone to EVER go here, trust me. Read Less

This place is seriously awesome. Great affordable price for when my dog got hurt and had to go under some surgery. Easy to schedule appointments and even reschedule them. Staff is so nice and caring for the animals too. Read Less

I see all the good reviews and wish I could say the same. The clerk was not friendly. I took my 3 month old Cocker to Dr. Gill for shots and a possible ear infection. She provided services I did not approve in which I was billed for. In addition, my dog still had an ear infection. I asked for Dr. Gill to call me back so I could express my concerns. SHE NEVER DID. The clerk called and stated they would compensate me for my bad experience but she first needed to speak to the doctor. I never got a called back! Bottom line, my experience was terrible and my dog will NEVER be back. Read Less

I don't know where to start! I brought my dog in for shots and to get ears checked out. The staff was not friendly. The vet took him and gave shots and stated she'd cleans his ears. Then she started throwing all these other things in like nail clip, rabies, and another shot for dogs etc... In which she did it WITHOUT my permission on the table as she was telling me about it. The was not truly caring. My puppy is only 4 months old. She loaded him up at one time. I called to days later still with concerns about his ears. Again the front desk girl was unfriendly and unprofessional. She got an attitude because I didn't seem satisfied with the service. At that point I asked for the vet to complain. If course, she was busy.To end this, she did not call back urgent and all he needed was his ears cleaned. I took my cat of 15 years old here in 2013 she wasn't eating so we were very worried. Dr. Gill was wonderful she explained each step of the procedure and what was going on and she didn't move forward with anything without consulting us. Unfortunately our cat died a week later so that was the only time we got to work with her. However I will never forget that wonderful experience and that is why with my new cat and kitten I know she will continue to be our Veterinarian. Read Less

Gorgeous had a problem with her eye and also needed her shots. Was friendly with Santa before going in but not so much afterwards. Heard that the office was very friendly and knowledgeable and glad to know it was true. Definitely found her new vet!! Thanks!!! Read Less

We took peppermint Patty pig to Bronzeville two days ago. I feel so fortunate to have found a veterinarian who is not only kind and gentle but is extremely competent. We thought Patty weighed about 80 pounds. When they weighed her, she was 118. We were skeptical when the clinic told us they could trim her hooves without sedation. Another vet that was closer wanted to sedate her for 3 1/2 hours away said we should not do that. So we thought we would give Dr. Gill a try. And we are so happy that we did. I think Dr. Gill must be a pig whisperer because I never saw Patty behave so well when something is being done to her! LOL. John and I had to restrain her, and pigs hate to be restrained, and yet she never try to bite she never squealed really loudlyand she merely whimpered her disapproval. I was so proud of Patty pig and I was so impressed with Dr. Gill. We will be going back on the 20th for additional piggy care. I took my 1 year old cockatiel Angel to the vet here & was surprised at how informative, helpful, and caring the vet & her team was. Also its much cheaper than other clinics or hospitals. Taking care completely of not only your worries but the over all health of your pet & providing the pet parent great knowledge leaving satisfied. We found Dr. Gill during a very difficult time. Thank you for doing all you could to try to save our Gus. Thank you for all of your support and sympathy when you had to not only break the difficult news that Gus had cancer, but that it was a bad prognosis. I'm grateful to have had such a caring vet and clinic staff to help us try to deal with such heartbreaking news. Gus's battle was short. He lost his battle on June 24, 2013. Thank you for all you did for him in the short time you knew him. We miss him every day, but because of you, we knew we did all we could. Read Less
