Dr. Andy is the best! He's a Vet Dr that really cares for you pet. I took my dog in for some dental work that turned into a bigger procedure than expected and Dr. Andy did a great job with the procedure. My dog had 18 teeth extracted and wouldn't eat or wouldn't take his medication after his procedure for 5 days. Due to my dog not eating and not taking his medication he started to have problems becoming dehydrated, he got a fever, he couldn't walk or stand. I got scared due to my dog getting worse and ended up at a Vet ER. The ER didn't give me the proper help for my dog or didn't offer proper medication to help assist my dog with his fever or pain. Instead they wanted to keep him overnight and run test that were not needed. The very next morning I called Dr. Andy's office and was allowed to come in right away. Dr. Andy was very concerned about my dog and knew what to do to help my dog. He gave my dog the medication he needed and within hours I noticed my dog feeling better. Dr. Andy was concerned about my dogs well being that he had me come in the next morning to check his progress and to give him more fluids and medication my dog needed. The next day my dog was feeling so much better. Thanks to Dr. Andy's concern and compassion for animals, his experience and knowledge my dog is getting well. I've been to a few Vets in the past for convience or due to moving and they always seemed too busy, bothered or have little interest or knowledge in the care of your pet. I will never go to another Vet no matter how far or how convient it is. Dr. Andy is defiently a animal person and is very patient with us parents. I recently took my dog there for a severe ear infection. The Vet was such a patient and understanding gentleman. He understood, that I was cost conscious, and worked with me the best he could. When I first got my cat, Lola, Lola was scratching her ears like mad, drawing blood. A vet near me, said she needed to be put on prozac for life and was very expensive. Vet no. 2, wanted to hospitalize for observation. Only reason, I looked for vet #3, who is Dr. Andy from Chicago Pet Clinic was because I didn't like how other two vets interacted with Lola. Dr. Andy gave me a no nonsense solution immediately. Give her half a zyrtec. Diagnosed it as allergies without difficulty. Well that did the job. Dr Andy is the best! Very calm, very caring, explains everything clearly so I can make an informed decision. EXCELLENT veterinary care for my cats at a price that suits my not-so-deep-pockets. I have been to other good (and expensive!) veterinarians in and around Chicago and Dr. Andy beats them hands down. One of my cats can get rather nervous at the vet, but at Chicago Pet Clinic he was not nervous at all. He even got out of his carrier by himself and started "sniffing the joint" only to get cosy on the weighing scale - feeling completely at home! I have found their new "forever" vet! Now even I am calm taking my cats to the vet, because I know I will not have to pay astronomical fees (to cover the cost of a fancy-schmancy clinic). Granted, on the outside Chicago Pet Clinic looks like nothing, but I don't mind AT ALL - it suits my limited budget and I am able to give my cats the veterinary care they deserve. Read Less

The staff here is amazing, friendly, and so helpful! Doctors are great with animals and explain everything really well. They often give options for treatment (cheaper, easier, etc. options) and leave the decision to you. I have 3 cats and 1 dog and they all go here for vet needs. My family and I have been coming here for years with our pets. We came here with my childhood dog and her litter of puppies when I was younger. My fond memories of this pet clinic are what led me to bring my own pets now to the clinic. I take my cats to the clinic for their regular check ups, and I have never had a problem. They are a life saver! My poor dog was refusing food for 6 weeks. She was seeing another vet and they could not diagnose her. They just kept running tests and X-rays with no answers or instructions for me, except to pay the well over $1k in bills. I thought I would have to put my dog down so she wouldn't suffer anymore, but I decided to get a 2nd opinion and found Chicago Pet Clinic and their great reviews. Within 10 minutes of examining my dog, Dr Marek was able to determine she had a very infected right side tonsil. I cried, I was so happy to finally be able to help my poor dog. I probably won't be back. Maybe I got the wrong vet, since it has so many good reviews. I have no complaints on the vet tech we dealt with,she was actually great with my dog. I can't say my dog is the most behaved, he's wants to kiss everyone and gets excited. However, our vet was afraid of my dog and he almost made it clear. He made little comments that might be ignored by others but not by me. When he tried giving my dog his shot he bent the needle. He wasn't confident with him at all. about 3 yrs ago i was looking for a vet who i could trust w/ my bichon frise and who was not going to break my wallet by doing unnessary test like all these other animal hospitals and i am very picky when it comes to my ""fur-kids"" and i could not believe the reviews on yelp all 39 of them ""EXCELLENT 5 STAR RATINGS"" so i of course have to check this place out myself i kid you not they really do live up to their standards if you really want a place that cares about your pet and not your wallet then you have found it they are very clean,affordable,and they explain everything about your pet in depth to you before you leave dr.andy is awesome he has worked on my bichon who is not an easy patient to get along with as my dog is a biter and he just excuses my dogs bad manners and of course like any good dog owner i just slip on the muzzle so no one gets bit in the process of the office visit well last monday my dog had surgery to have some masses removed from his body and andy was on vacation at the time but andy was aware of the situation my dog was in so his fill in from pulaski animal hospital did the surgery to remove 6 masses from my bichon i dropped him off at 8:00am and picked him back up at 6:00pm same day and they took awesome care of him not just sending me on my way with my sick little baby but made sure i understood everything and my dogs after care has been at a steady pace of every 3 days to changes his gauze and everything is going very good so far so this coming up monday he should be having his gauze removed leaving only the stitches in place and those should come off in about another week i am soooooooooo blessed and greatful to have them to care for my baby and you will be to if your willing to give them a try please don't take my word for it just go to YELP and check those 39 awesome reviews and then go see for yourself what we are all soooooooo happy about i promise you can't go wrong :) Read Less
