PLEASE DO NOT BRING YOUR ANIMAL HERE!!!!! I wish my sister should have learned her lesson the first time she went to this “animal hospital” but unfortunately that mistake cost her her dogs life. The first time we went here the front staff was clueless and rude. We brought two of my dogs there for shots and a teeth cleaning. They pulled my dogs tooth when all we wanted was for her teeth to be cleaned. Then a few weeks later I called to have the vet send over the medical records so my dog can be groomed and they sent over the wrong ones. I called and was put on hold multiple times because they couldn’t figure out who my dog was and they kept confusing her with my other dog even though they are both very different breeds and very different colors. Come to find out they never gave her shots in the first place. Unfortunately the last time my sister brought her dog here he didn’t make it and the vet did little to nothing to prevent that from happening. Jax came in after throwing up blood and Dr. Joseph Luca (who has multiple cases of investigation under his belt) gave him vitamin K, charged my sister $130 (estimated), and sent them on their way. It wasn’t until later that Jax’s health declined and my sister decided to take him to a different vet who determined that he should go to the emergency vet but wouldn’t make it through the trip. Not one time throughout my sisters visit did they tell her to go the the emergency vet because this was serious. Instead Joseph gave some bs medicine to get Jax out of the way and make some money. Joseph also forged Jax’s medical records. The records my sister left with stated that they should give it 24hrs before they take Jax to the emergency vet but the records that were sent over to the new vet stated that she refused to take him to the emergency vet. Completely not true!!!! Joseph refused to speak to my sister when she asked for her money back and came to talk to him about what happened, he constantly rolled his eyes. The worst part is that he showed no remorse and kept saying “well is he alive though?” The answer is NO! We lost a member of our family because of this “vets” negligence. Please don’t bring your animals here.

They do really good ear cropping. However, they have random employee’s with little to no veterinary training doing things such as removing of stitches and giving out medicine. They couldn’t even count out the right amount of medicine, I was supposed to get 14 pills for 2x a day for my pup on Saturday, and here it is Tuesday and I only have 2 pills left. Whatever anesthesia shot they used to put him is terrible, as it has caused numerous spots of necrotic skin to develop all over his shoulders and neck that he didnt have prior to going to their facility. And, they can’t even be bothered to call you back to give the details on what drug they used and how much of it they administered. I will *never* go back there, and I would recommend anyone with a pet to find somewhere else to take them. I have pictures of the tissue, but can’t post for some reason(besides it’s pretty nasty).

I was very concern on my dog getting his ears cropped. I am saying a nervous wreck and was my dog in good hands? Well, beside a price error, which his daughter corrected with no problem 4☆☆☆☆. Also, the receptionist Malissa is very friendly 4 Star ☆☆☆☆ and any concerns talk to her. The doctor Luke 4 Star☆☆☆☆ was straight forward on which cropping would fit my dog best. The office is not the fanciest 3 Star ☆☆☆.But, that does not matter to me the care of my dog was my main concern.The Customer Service 4 Star ☆☆☆☆ amazing, The care for your loved one is 4Star ☆☆☆☆,The after care was 4 Star ☆☆☆☆ on point. They gave antibiotics and pain medication and over night stay for your pet. Everything, that was expected from a 5 ☆☆☆☆☆ star Animal Hospital. I did have to ask, when can my dog eat after surgery and his next dosage of pain medication once at home as a parent, you have to ask questions regardless. But, in my opinon price are affordable. When my dog was a puppy, I took him to PetSmart. I was not happy with Pet Smart prices and their unprofessional staff. After, my bad experience at Petsmart a friend referred me to Delta Animal Hospital. Thanks to him, I have found my dogs doctor. Delta Hospital works with you in care of your pet. Also, I drove them crazy with calls & questions before surgery and after. They, were always pleasant. I will keep you guys posted on how, Delta's handles my dogs after home recovery. This place saved our cats life!! He had a blocked urine track with a tangerine size blater and every veterinarian we checked was too expensive for my family. When we checked Delta Animal Hospital they were thousands of dollars cheaper and we were able to get help to pay for the procedure and the days of after care.Thank you Thank you Thank you!!!
PS don't worry that the place doesn't have thousands of dollars in new furniture and decorations it goes towards cheaper services. They are good at what they do too!!

This animal hospital is not maintained to an acceptible standard for the care of your pet. I would not visit this office for shots, and I would not trust this staff with regular diagnoses or any complicated procedures.
Originally, I took my pets to this animal hospital because it was close-by, and as current and recent graduate students, my husband and I were under considerable economic limitations while caring diligently for our two beloved pets. On our first visit to Delta Animal Hospital in 2010, I did have doubts. However, they seemed reliable, and we liked that they were so close to our home for regular care and potential emergencies.
Many years later, I moved back to Chicago and returned to this hospital with one of my pets who they'd seen multiple times years before. I returned in part because I didnt have a relationship with another vet office in the area and new places were booked. Delta Animal Hospital seemed like a good choice because I had been there many times before, and they accepted walkins. I knew my pet had records there, and I believed it was a good idea to return.
In my older years, I can now identify that this animal hospital is not attuned to the specific needs of small pets. They are not accustomed to pets with sensitivities, and they are not sensitive to the special needs of animals with digestive problems. The environment is not kept up, the facilities are not acceptible, the exams are quick, and the doctor and staff are not fully present while conducting procedures. They seem to be confident about administering care, but I doubt this is the case. Additionally, there is not adequate explanation given from the staff on how to care for your pet upon returning home.
In closing, whatever your reasons are for considering the choice of a vet, please do your research and trust your instincts. It's hard to know what to do in pressing situations, but prepare ahead and try not to settle on a place because they are close or you've seen them before. Trust yourself on these important decisions, and you'll become better at making good choices for your pets.

I took two Blue Heelers in for their regular checkups / shots. The older one had a weak appetite, the other had some pretty bad looking teeth in the back. She suggested I clean both of their teeth; the older one had a weak appetite because he had dirty teeth and food didn't taste good, the younger one just needed his teeth cleaned... Based on blood work she couldn't clean the older one's teeth and just prescribed some special dog food. The other we agreed should have his teeth cleaned and two teeth needed to come out. She did the cleaning but couldn't pull the teeth, she said come back in a year and we'd try again...
The older one's appetite didn't improve and two weeks later the older one died in his sleep. He was old, I'm willing to accept that might have happened even with a better exam.
The scathing review is in regards to the younger one. Those two teeth she didn't pull- became infected a month later. He ended up in the emergency room with sepsis. A very expensive emergency surgery later and he's on the road to recovery.
It was my fault for trusting her and not seeking a second opinion on the little one's teeth. I guess the best I can tell you is, if you're looking for cheap annual shots- go Delta; for real check ups/issues- go to a real vet.

PLEASE DO NOT BRING YOUR ANIMAL HERE!!!!! I wish my sister should have learned her lesson the first time she went to this “animal hospital” but unfortunately that mistake cost her her dogs life. The first time we went here the front staff was clueless and rude. We brought two of my dogs there for shots and a teeth cleaning. This animal hospital is not maintained to an acceptible standard for the care of your pet. I would not visit this office for shots, and I would not trust this staff with regular diagnoses or any complicated procedures.
Originally, I took my pets to this animal hospital because it was close-by, and as current and recent graduate students, my husband and I were under considerable economic limitations while caring diligently for our two beloved pets. On our first visit to Delta Animal Hospital in 2010, I did have doubts. However, they seemed reliable, and we liked that they were so close to our home for regular care and potential emergencies.
Many years later, I moved back to Chicago and returned to this hospital with one of my pets who they'd seen multiple times years before. I returned in part because I didnt have a relationship with another vet office in the area and new places were booked. Delta Animal Hospital seemed like a good choice because I had been there many times before, and they accepted walkins. I knew my pet had records there, and I believed it was a good idea to return.
In my older years, I can now identify that this animal hospital is not attuned to the specific needs of small pets. They are not accustomed to pets with sensitivities, and they are not sensitive to the special needs of animals with digestive problems. The environment is not kept up, the facilities are not acceptible, the exams are quick, and the doctor and staff are not fully present while conducting procedures. They seem to be confident about administering care, but I doubt this is the case. Additionally, there is not adequate explanation given from the staff on how to care for your pet upon returning home.
In closing, whatever your reasons are for considering the choice of a vet, please do your research and trust your instincts. It's hard to know what to do in pressing situations, but prepare ahead and try not to settle on a place because they are close or you've seen them before. Trust yourself on these important decisions, and you'll become better at making good choices for your pets.

They're really professional. I've brought my dogs and cat and leave pretty happy. They're really affordable which makes my wallet happy. I Highly recommend bringing your pets here.

What matters is my pets and their care, and they have always gotten great care, and you can€t beat his prices! Hence the no frills, if you want fancy decor then you will pay for it. I took two Blue Heelers in for their regular checkups / shots. The older one had a weak appetite, the other had some pretty bad looking teeth in the back. She suggested I clean both of their teeth; the older one had a weak appetite because he had dirty teeth and food didn't taste good, the younger one just needed his teeth cleaned... Based on blood work she couldn't clean the older one's teeth and just prescribed some special dog food. The other we agreed should have his teeth cleaned and two teeth needed to come out. She did the cleaning but couldn't pull the teeth, she said come back in a year and we'd try again...
The older one's appetite didn't improve and two weeks later the older one died in his sleep. He was old, I'm willing to accept that might have happened even with a better exam.
The scathing review is in regards to the younger one. Those two teeth she didn't pull- became infected a month later. He ended up in the emergency room with sepsis. A very expensive emergency surgery later and he's on the road to recovery.
It was my fault for trusting her and not seeking a second opinion on the little one's teeth. I guess the best I can tell you is, if you're looking for cheap annual shots- go Delta; for real check ups/issues- go to a real vet.
