Dr. McReynolds was recommended to me by other Veterinarians in the Chicago suburbs as a great Vet in the city. I couldn't have been happier to take those recommendations! The Higgins staff is efficient and kind, and Dr. McReynolds is an absolute delight. She is incredibly knowledgeable, quick to answer all of my questions, shows genuine care and concern about my puppy's wellbeing, and offered several options for care. Taking my new puppy to Higgins was so easy and convenient! I'm also glad to know that they board and groom. We'll definitely be trying out those services....if there are any concerns with the pet during their stay, they can alert a Vet! Couldn't be happier with the facility and staff.

My dog started throwing up bile consecutively over a week, so called a few vets and none of them would give me time if day since I wasn't a previous customer. When I called Higgins they immediately sh...
My dog started throwing up bile consecutively over a week, so called a few vets and none of them would give me time if day since I wasn't a previous customer. When I called Higgins they immediately showed concern and worked to get my dog in the next morning. When I was there the staff listened asked probing questions and gave several options to figure out what was causing the issue. After testing they gave a treatment plan that was spot on. My dog is doing much better and will now make this place my local vet. Also got a hand written card after the visit encouraging me to call if there were any concerns.

Just moved to the area and took my Golden Retriever in and had a wonderful experience! Everyone was so friendly and knowledgable. The hours and location are great too. Glad to have found a great place...

I have been taking my cat Nero to Higgins since I moved to Chicago in 2013. The vets, techs, and office staff are highly trained and it is evident that they really care about our pets and their comfort level. My cat has had to go under anesthesia a couple times for painful tooth extractions, and Dr. McReynolds was so attentive in updating me and easing my anxiety. Great service and quality care for our little furry loved ones!

We're back! Higgins was my vet for a dog that I lost in October 2014 and let me tell you... They rocked it for me! I was devastated when I realized that I was going to have to put my little guy down b...
We're back! Higgins was my vet for a dog that I lost in October 2014 and let me tell you... They rocked it for me! I was devastated when I realized that I was going to have to put my little guy down but they let me stay with him for hours in a little room until I was ready to see him off. I still can't think about it without getting a little emotional because the pure level of compassion that they showed me was just incredible. So here I am a year later with a new pup... I wouldn't have anyone else. So honored and happy to have this vet in my neighborhood. Oh I should also mention that they have an incredible group of highly skilled Veterinarians! You're little pet family member will be in great hands at Higgins Animal Clinic.

I highly recommend Higgins, especially Dr. Damiana. I have a rescue dog from One Tail at a Time with some medical conditions so we are very familiar with the staff at Higgins. Everyone has been kind, patient, knowledgable and goes out of their way to make my anxious pup feel comfortable.

My husband and I recently moved to the neighborhood, and I was glad to find a vet that is just around the corner! I took my cat in for his annual exam and vaccinations, and everything in the treatment...
My husband and I recently moved to the neighborhood, and I was glad to find a vet that is just around the corner! I took my cat in for his annual exam and vaccinations, and everything in the treatment plan was explained to me prior to starting any procedures. I really appreciated that the staff described pricing up front! As a new patient, the exam was free (bonus)! The doctor spent a significant amount of time examining my cat and answering my questions concerning his diet. The staff followed up with us a week later to see how he was doing, which I thought was very sweet. The only negative thing about our visit was that we were the first appointment of the day, but we were brought back to our room 15 minutes late. I would highly recommend Higgins Animal Clinic to anyone in Roscoe Village!

Dr. McReynolds was recommended to me by other Veterinarians in the Chicago suburbs as a great Vet in the city. I couldn't have been happier to take those recommendations! The Higgins staff is efficient and kind, and Dr. McReynolds is an absolute delight. She is incredibly knowledgeable, quick to answer all of my questions, shows genuine care and concern about my puppy's wellbeing, and offered several options for care. Taking my new puppy to Higgins was so easy and convenient! I'm also glad to know that they board and groom. We'll definitely be trying out those services....if there are any concerns with the pet during their stay, they can alert a Vet! Couldn't be happier with the facility and staff.

My dog started throwing up bile consecutively over a week, so called a few vets and none of them would give me time if day since I wasn't a previous customer. When I called Higgins they immediately showed concern and worked to get my dog in the next morning. When I was there the staff listened asked probing questions and gave several options to figure out what was causing the issue. After testing they gave a treatment plan that was spot on. My dog is doing much better and will now make this place my local vet. Also got a hand written card after the visit encouraging me to call if there were any concerns.

I have been taking my cat Nero to Higgins since I moved to Chicago in 2013. The vets, techs, and office staff are highly trained and it is evident that they really care about our pets and their comfort level. My cat has had to go under anesthesia a couple times for painful tooth extractions, and Dr. McReynolds was so attentive in updating me and easing my anxiety. We're back! Higgins was my vet for a dog that I lost in October 2014 and let me tell you... They rocked it for me! I was devastated when I realized that I was going to have to put my little guy down but they let me stay with him for hours in a little room until I was ready to see him off. I still can't think about it without getting a little emotional because the pure level of compassion that they showed me was just incredible. So here I am a year later with a new pup... I wouldn't have anyone else. So honored and happy to have this vet in my neighborhood. Oh I should also mention that they have an incredible group of highly skilled Veterinarians! You're little pet family member will be in great hands at Higgins Animal Clinic.

My husband and I recently moved to the neighborhood, and I was glad to find a vet that is just around the corner! I took my cat in for his annual exam and vaccinations, and everything in the treatment plan was explained to me prior to starting any procedures.
